I liked the location and I liked the restaurant for breakfast - very Downtown Abbey style, cute. Breakfast was pretty decent, good scrambled eggs. The staff also seemed very nice and helpful. The beds were pretty comfortable as well.
Unfortunately, i find the price very high for that standard. The room smelled like bathroom canalisation, There was a hole in the radiator cover and inside there was some rubbish from previous quests.

Excellent location. Very kind staff.
The hotel needs to be renovated.

Nothing - hotel suited our needs

The staff at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. They were able to accommodate the bed request type that I had made, and I was able to check in a couple of hours ahead of time.
The location was excellent. Only about a 20-30 min walk from the center of Amsterdam.
The bathroom was very cramped up even for a small guy, and we frequently lost wi-fi signal. I think it's because we were at the very top corner of the building. It also took us a while to get the thermostat temperature right :) Either way, we were able to adapt ;)

The best thing about the hotel was the location - walkable to all the attractions you're likely to want to visit. The staff were, as stated in other reviews very friendly and helpful.
However, in my opinion the hotel needs a complete refit. It is extremely dated. The rooms are small and basic. Sockets didn't work and/or were in strange places. A cupboard door fell off its hinges when opened. The room service phone didn't work. Carpets were slightly sticky and not particularly clean. Breakfast was adequate but again, very basic and certainly no frills.

Great location, the hotel was really clean and the staff super friendly. The bed was comfortable as well.
Quite a dated and small hotel, nothing fancy and the room was quite small. We paid €500 for 2 nights, however it was over New Years Eve which might explain. The hotel wasn’t very busy though.

Good location on a quiet street in central Amsterdam, and very convenient when taking the Airport bus, as it stops cirka 150 meters from the hotel.

Quiet not much noise
Too warm comforter in bed, I was promised a new one a few times but only got another sheet

Nothing that inconvenienced our stay.

Wonderful location! Very welcoming staff, always available and nice. We got a great comfortable baby cot, free of charge. Clean room and bathroom, the shower fixtures look new. Nice breakfast with great pastries.
The stream in the shower was low (compared to the stream in the tap which was great). The shower partition doesn't block the water well, so the floor gets very wet. No accessories in the room - no electric kettle or fridge/minibar.

Location was great: in the middle of everything but still very quiet. Staff was super friendly and atmosphere among travelers was polite, smiley and all together pleasant. Breakfast was good. We got what we expected. Wouldn't mind to come back soon :-)
Charging of electronic devices was a bit tricky with very few power points. We got an extra electric cord from reception and everything worked fine. Staff did all they could to make us happy and were really well informed about Amsterdam and its surroundings.
