Located in Michigan, this charming hotel for £92 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This resort property is located in the heart of Copper Harbor. Situated on the banks of Lake Fanny Hooe, the property has a 14 room motel, 2 cabins, a chalet and 64 campsites along with a private sandy beach. Lake Fanny Hooe is an inland lake approximately 1/4 mile from Lake Superior. Guests can enjoy swimming, boating and fishing on this 3 mile long warm water lake.
You can start your daily adventure by fueling up on caffeine and sugar when you stop by Jamsen’s Fish Market and Bakery for hot baked pastries and fresh brewed coffee. You can then explore one of the hiking, ATV or mountain biking trail systems that all head up right by the property. If you are visiting in the winter, the groomed snowmobile trail head comes right through the middle of the resort. At the end of a day spent partaking of the numerous outdoor activities one can walk down to the 3rd Street dock to enjoy a sunset over Porter’s Island in the bay and then stop by the Brickside Brewery for a selection of craft beer or The Mariner for a hearty dinner. Be sure to stop by Zik’s for a nightcap before strolling back to the beautiful lakeside resort while the wind rustles through the tall pines.
Whether you are staying at the motel or the cabins/chalet, you will want to rise early to watch the sun come up over Lake Fanny Hooe from the comfort of your own private balcony. Each accommodation will have everything you need for your getaway, but it is not the rooms or the buildings that make this place so special. It is the location on which they stand. It is the experience of stepping away from your constantly connected devices and taking in the serene natural beauty offered by this special part of the world.
