Enjoy easy access to a plethora of outdoor adventures and the culture and cuisine of nearby Asheville. Working remotely? Enjoy fast, reliable WiFi and a private office space. LOCATION Conveniently located just south of Asheville, this home has everything you need to make you feel right at home - with NO remote roads to navigate! Only fifteen minutes to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, several local breweries including Sierra Nevada, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking with easy and quick access to I-40, I-240, and I-26 and the Blue Ridge Parkway which allows you to quickly get anywhere you want to go. Check out nearby towns like Hendersonville, Brevard and Black Mountain easily. This home is just minutes away from first class golfing, art museums, various hiking and biking trails, white water rafting and in the winter months go snow skiing and snowboarding at either Cataloochee Ski Resort in Maggie Valley, NC or Wolf Ridge Ski Resort in Mars Hill, NC. Uber and Lyft service is available in this area as well. Recommended for families, children, and dogs. Not for parties or groups for bachelor or bachelorette parties. This is in a quiet neighborhood. *** FAQ *** * The living fireplace is decorative only. * NO firepit at this house. * There are no bedrooms on the main level/first floor. * The pricing is set for TEN PEOPLE OR LESS. ADDITIONAL GUESTS (11-12) WILL INCUR A $20 PER NIGHT PER GUEST ADDITIONAL FEE. Children of any age are counted. This fee is for additional usage expenses as well as extra maid fees. For example, 11 guests equal ONE extra guest at $20/night additional fee. *DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals other than dogs due to allergies. A dog fee will apply plus all applicable taxes. $30 per dog plus taxes, per night. Maximum of TWO dogs ( 50 lbs and under) with prior approval. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES while walking or in the front yard/driveway. The house was set up just as we needed. Space to congregate and cook, space for the kids to play, quiet spaces for those who needed to sneak away for a little work or peace and quiet. The host was very accommodating and communicative when we had questions. She also allowed my daughter to access the property the day after we checked out to retrieve some swimwear left in the dryer.
The only suggestion we would offer is that the stock of dishware was somewhat limiting as were the bath linens. One hand towel per bathroom, and none for the main floor washroom.
Those minor inconveniences aside, it was a wonderful space for our family to gather and celebrate our mother's life.

This is a large house in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great time exploring the area as well as relaxing at the house. The house has room for a large group to spread out as well as room to get together for meals. It is clean and well taken care of with all the amenities you will need.

We stayed here for a family weekend trip to Asheville and it was a very convenient distance from downtown. The house had plenty of space for us to relax as well as a nice outdoor area to spend time. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away to the mountains and enjoy a weekend close to Asheville!

Our group of friends had a fantastic time here, extremely close to Blue ridge pkwy, 15 minute drive to downtown. Tough to get an Uber from the house but was never too big of a deal. Backyard is fantastic as well.

Came to Asheville for a friends wedding. There were 8 of us and this house was perfect for out 3 day visit.

Very nice property, and Lois was helpful and easy to work with. Our group was 7 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant, and 2 tiny dogs. Booked our reservation through VRBO. Purpose was our daughters wedding. We had plenty of room to spread out, and it was great to have the space to put the late nighters in the spacious basement area, while the babies slept peacefully on the second floor. Also, we only had 2-3 adults per full bathroom. That’s important when everyone in the house is needing to get ready for the same function at the same time

Well stocked with trash bags and TP, but there was only one box of facial tissue. There is both a keurig single cup coffee maker and a ground coffee maker. We used both. There were a few k-cups there, but we brought our own. Ample coffee filters were provided for the ground coffee maker. Bring your own ground coffee though, which we did.
Apparently this is hornet country, but they provide hornet spray for this problem. We only needed to use it once, but we were very grateful it was provided.
All of the important areas were very clean…bedding, bathrooms, floors…but some areas were rather neglected, like buggy window sills, dusty baseboards and the deck bar top.
Large kitchen with island seating was great, Space in the pantry for actual food instead of appliances would have been nice, though. Also, take plastic cups. Beverage glasses provided were all glass, mostly heavy pint glasses.

Between the hot tub, the pool table and the many areas to relax and enjoy, we found plenty to keep us busy when we were not out and about. We looked for a place close to the airport while still being convenient to the wedding we attended in Asheville, and this fit both of those categories. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

We rented this house for our wedding weekend for guest that were coming in from out of town. The house is amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The kitchen is great for cooking meals for a larger group, the house was perfect for accommodating couples and the back deck and hot tub are just wonderful for a chilly fall night. Would 12/10 recommend. The host was amazing, we had a slight problem with a bathroom and they were over within a few hours to fix the issue. Amazing communication and I have never had a more accommodating host. Luis was FANTASTIC!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this great property. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well appointed and we had great fun playing pool. We would love to return!

The house was wonderful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the house was exactly as described. Good location as the house is about 15-20 minutes from everywhere we went. We will definitely be bookmarking this house for future stays!

Our son had his destination wedding at the North Carolina Arboretum. This home was the perfect spot for my husband and I and our other children and three grandchildren to stay. I liked the space to spread out, especially the beautiful bathroom in the main bedroom. My adult children enjoyed the hot tub, and the grandkids did much better in a home than they would have in a hotel. We were even able to get some nice photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready for the big day.

Family Getaway - 50th Anniversary
Our two families of 5 met up with my parents to celebrate their anniversary. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was well stocked with kitchen items, towels, toiletries, games and plenty of seating for meals. Grocery stores are close, but not really a place you can just go on a walk from... when our kids needed to burn off some energy. That said they could play in the backyard and we found many frogs and a turtle in the little retaining pond.

The property was perfect!!! Every year 5 of us life long friends with our spouses come together and plan a trip! The location was great and was in a nice/safe neighborhood! The house was super clean and kitchen was fully equipped! There was plenty of space for everyone and we would definitely stay here again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home and would stay in it again. The house was super clean and very well stocked. Bathrooms and kitchen had everything we needed. Location was perfect, quiet neighborhood that was very close to Biltmore Village and Downtown Asheville. We highly recommend it!
