Excellent stay!
Fernando was great from beginning to end! He greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment was spacious and super clean! It felt like a home away from home.
He took the time to explain the many attractions in Rome and how to get to each one using the public transportation system. The metro was 2 minutes away from the apartment as advertised and there were many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Grazie for your hospitality Fernando and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future!

Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by a driver our host Fernando had organized. At the property Fernando himself was at the front door welcoming us and showing us the apartment.
This apartment is exactly as advertised: super clean, spacious and functional. A big plus is the location so close to the Metro which runs every few minutes and took us to wherever we wanted to go in a very short time. There are plenty of shops and eateries close by as well.
We can recommend this property without hesitation.

De plus je tiens à souligner la rapidité avec laquelle Fernando répondait à nos demandes d’informations lors de nos recherches et de l’accueil sympathique lors de notre arrivée. Il a pris le temps nécessaire pour nous expliquer comment ce déplacer dans Rome les principaux attraits de celle-ci également.
Nous n’hésiterons pas une seconde à recommander cet emplacement à nos amis et nous y retournerons assurément lors d’un éventuel retour dans cette ville dites éternelle.

WONDERFUL!!
We stayed at Angela and Fernando’s apartment for 4 nights during our recent stay in Rome. The apartment was perfect and spacious for a family of 6 adults. The apartment has all the amenities required to make you feel right at home. The apartment is just minutes away from a Metro station which made it very easy to get around Rome. Fernando arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport on the day of arrival and for a driver to drive us back on the day of departure. No car rental is required. The surrounding neighbourhood is very nice. Easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, pastry shops etc... Overall we had a wonderful stay, and would definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. This lovely apartment was our home away from home for our first trip to Rome. Located in an authentic Roman neighborhood, everything you need is a short walk from the apartment. The close proximity to the metro station cannot be overstated. Apartment is as pictured and very clean. Fernando met us at the apartment and gave very useful information about getting around town. We had a medical issue during our stay, and Fernando and his family immediately helped us find a pharmacy open on New Years Day. Famiglia Rochetti will do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Perfect location, beautiful flat, fabulous host!
I can not say enough nice things about our stay. In the short 6 days that my husband and I were there, we felt at home. From the moment we arrived at the flat, Fernando greeted us, helped us with our luggage and gifted us with an amazing bottle of Chianti. He gave us a thorough tour of the flat. Fernando took the time to show us how to get around using the very helpful large map on the wall. He offered recommendations for sightseeing, and was always available to answer any questions.
The town was super cute with great little shops. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The food in town (and out) was absolutely amazing. One of Fernando's recommendations was Olio e Farina, which was our personal favorite! You can't get a bad piece of pizza in Rome! It is like nothing I've ever had!! Our first night we were having some drinks at the Chicken Hut up the road (I know, doesn't seem Rome would have a place called the chicken hut haha). That night we met some awesome locals, and returned every night of our stay to hang out with our new friends.
We staying in Rome for the duration. We wanted to visit Naples, but overslept (darn jetlag). I would highly recommend the hop on hop off sightseeing tour bus. It takes you to about 8 stops all over Rome, with buses at the stops every 15 minutes. We did sign up for one guided tour, but didnt want to keep spending the money. It is a little pricey. We were just as happy going to the various sights independently. Sightseeing at night is a must as well!! The city looks amazing beautiful at night all lit up. My personal favorites were the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, The Vatican and St Peter's Church. There is a breathtaking view at night on the rooftop of the castle. That is a must see! Incredibly romantic.
Overall, it was just a wonderful experience! We can not thank Fernando enough for his gracious hospitality. We can't wait to come back!!!

A Great Experience
My husband and I had been in Europe for five weeks staying at VRBOs. Fernando’s apartment was the best! His son Davide met us and gave us a wealth of information. The apartment was immaculately clean and very well stocked. This apartment was situated away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy Rome but the Metro was few minutes walk making it easy to get to sights. We loved this apartment that made us feel we were a part of real Roman life. Will definitely stay on our return trip to Rome.

Fernando arranged for us to arrive early and met us at the entrance. He explained everything in detail and left an information package second to none. He was so helpful in all ways when called upon. The apartment was completely supplied and exceptionally clean. A bottle of wine was gifted to us to start our stay in Rome in a very welcoming way. Wonderful.

Loved Rome
Loved this home. Fernando was always very easy to reach. Thank you for your great communication. Letting us check in early and letting us stay in your home.
We enjoyed Rome. Andreas met us at the apartment. He gave us information on restaurants and grocery stores and things to see. Andreas also helped us make a decision to drive to Sorrento when we left to see the Amalfi Coast.
I have to say that we had the very best meal in Italy one street over from your home. The Olive restaurant.
Thank you for letting us park our car there too. And for the Very nice bottle of wine, Would definitely stay here again.

The property was most charming, clean and comfortable located near metro station!
Our stay was most enjoyably enhanced by the personalized attention of the owner and his family. We felt like locals living in Rome. A short metro ride way from the busy tourist attractions and yet close to shopping, dinning and experiencing how it would feel like if one were to live in this unforgettable ancient city!
The comfort and charm of our little apartment made our stay most memorable. We were close to countless little stores including, ice cream shops, bakeries, butcher shops, several grocery stores and speciality shops. We even enjoyed the services of a hair saloon just next door.
We greatly recommend this apartment and owner to anyone wanting experience Rome in an authentic yet classic fashion. We give it five stars, all around. Thanks for the memories!😎👍🎊

Amazing would come visit again
My family of five’s stay in Fernando’s home was great. First of, I had so many questions prior to the trip that Fernando would answer right away. Not only that, for some reason I couldn’t book dinner reservations for my sister’s birthday from Canada so when I asked Fernando he was more than willing to help me do that. Now let’s fast forward to the day of our check in. Fernando allowed us to check in early as our flight came in very early in the morning and he remembered it was my sister’s birthday and even brought us gelato from his favorite gelato place. Then Andrea helped us check in and gave us the lay of the land and it helped us familiarize ourselves with the metro and places to visit. Over and over again Fernando and Andrea has proven to be such great hosts and I would recommend his home to anybody. The location is so close to the metro, and the place is so clean and cozy.

Out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist area yet a short walk to the train station to hit all of Rome’s highlights. Apartment was exactly as advertised, very spacious, clean, and everything was great. Fernando was very responsive with communication. Definitely stay here again the next time in Rome.

Great flat, great price
The flat was fantastic, everything was in place and it was clean and hospitable. Fernando went out of his way to welcome us, show us how to navigate Rome, and was always available when we needed him (which wasn't often). I would highly recommend his flat to anyone.

Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Host!
We so enjoyed staying in your apartment in Rome. It was the beginning of our 3 week adventure in Italy. Fernando was so welcoming and introduced us to such a clean and comfortable space in a great location. The apartment had great, fast WiFi, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great shower and good atmosphere. The apartment had everything we could possibly want. And within a block or two we had great food and transportation to explore Rome. Thanks Fernando for all your suggestions and directions. We loved going all over Rome with your advice. And we now have a new favorite way to make coffee thanks to YOU! We highly recommend this apartment.
