We wanted to come to PA to visit family who live in Bellwood and go to Harvestfest at Delgrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton. This James Creek house is absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for our family. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we could not take advantage of all that the house has to offer. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Lovely pastoral setting and meticulously clean house. Owner has made it extremely comfortable and organized for your every need. We slept well and enjoyed our short stay together in such a peaceful setting. Highly recommend.

This is our second time to the Raystown Lake area, but our first at Sunny Acres. This home far exceeded our expectations. The house itself was very clean and well stocked, the owner thought of everything you could need. Our corgi LOVED the fenced in yard, while we relaxed on the comfortable deck! Located on a secluded property with room for dogs to roam. Water access was a short walk. Beautiful spacious home. Communication with owner was A+. Has everything you need. Recommendation would be an outdoor plug to charge boat, the outdoor barn plug did not work. Would highly recommend!

This home has so many conveniences, very well organized and clean. So many places to relax. Family room has puzzles and games to enjoy when you come back from your day at the lake. We cooked dinner everyday and the kitchen is extremely well stocked and labeled. Also used the outdoor propane grill and enjoyed nights at the fire pit. What a great vacation rental!

Very nice home. well equip,labeled,clean we really enjoyed our stay. we go to lake every day use seven points marina we come to Rays town every August this was one of the nicest houses we stayed at. this owner knows how to be a good rental landlord for vacationers.

Sunny Acres was a perfect place for a family getaway. The location was half way between the East and West sides of the state where our family live. The house was clean, the amenities were great, plenty of privacy and space for the dog and boat. The house had plenty of options for whole family activities yet had plenty of places to be alone and enjoy some "me time". We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back to Sunny Acres again.

This house was perfect for my family. There were 5 of us and this place was perfect! So many places for us to each have some space to play, work or relax. The setting is gorgeous! So peaceful with trees full of lightening bugs and every morning we looked for the bunnies in the yard. The back porch was an amazing place to relax with coffee in the morning or grill out dinner in the evening.
The host was very responsive and even went out of his way to help me find my sons retainer that he left behind.

We enjoyed staying in close proximity to the lake and having a boat launch 5 minutes away was fantastic. Our dogs loved the dog door and fenced-in backyard. They loved watching rabbits and chipmunks. The house was clean and in great working order. Thank you for an enjoyable vacation!

Our vacation was so relaxing! Comfortable clean house with everything you need and labeled so you can easily find it. Dave was a great host! He even had a recliner that we could move to the family room for my mom who just had knee surgery. The dogs loved the fenced yard. We went fishing and tubing at the cove. Sitting on the back deck and by the fire was a plus. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We will be back again! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!

We rented Sunny Acres for a weekend visit with family in the area. The property was exactly as advertised. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and there was plenty of room for all our grandchildren to play. The kitchen was fully stocked so all we needed to do was visit the local grocery store and we were set for the weekend. I would defiantly recommend Sunny Acres.

Once again our family throughly enjoyed this property. Alway clean and plenty of room to relax as a family. This time we brought the dog along and it was great to have a place for him to run free. Excellent quick communication from owner. I’m sure we will be back again!

Great fenced in yard for our dogs.
Very close & easy access to Raystown Lake for our Kayaks. Only 10 min. to Allegrippis trails for our mountain bikes and only 15 min. to a terrific rail trail for our road bikes !!!

outdoor grill , fire pit w/ chairs , telescope , and more kitchen stuff than we have at home !!!

I can’t say anything more then WOW! This house will blow ur mind. Everything u could want or need was available. I over packed because I plan for everything. However we get there to find everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. So beautifully organized and labeled. We took our fur babies and they not use to be able to freely run all the time. So needless to say they we in their glory with the nice fenced in yard. Nights around the fire and looking at the night sky with nothings but peace & quiet was just the medicine needed to make a perfect weekend!

We really loved this VRBO! The owner thought of everything - Great stocked kitchen, grill, TV rooms (2), deck with a fenced in yard for our dog. It’s a lovely quiet location. It had all the necessities soap, paper towels, shampoo etc. We hiked & fished. Plenty of room inside. The owner was ok with a later checkout since no one was coming in after us. It gave us a chance to have a nice Easter brunch with our son who attends Juniata College without rushing out at 11am. We really appreciated that-thanks!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunny Acres. Excellent communication and support from Dave the host. House is comfortable and well organized. Nice fenced yard for the dog. Great location for Alegrippis trails, the lake, and Huntingdon/Juniata College. Would stay here again.

We had a great time at Sunny Acres! It was the perfect place for our family! Our dogs loved the back yard! We loved visiting Raystown Lake which is beautiful! Sunny Acres has everything you need…sheets, towels and all the kitchen amenities. The property was so clean and comfy! We loved the sunroom off the back! The deck was amazing too! We will definitely be back in the summertime! Dave was also very responsive with any questions and a great host!

Very nice place to stay. Seating in garage made it nice for larger group to sit together and talk. The outside patio and grounds is excellent. Very nice open grass area for kids to run around and adults to sit on deck area. Also nice area to enjoy and evening fire. Also nice location to go to all areas of the lake. Will stay here again.

What a great house and location. The house was so clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The labels on on the kitchen cabinets is a nice touch. The location is very private and a short walk to the cove. The yard is beautifully landscaped and fenced for the dogs which was great for them and worry free for us. The teenagers in our group loved the garage turned family room with huge sofa, TV and Giant garage door screen. Dave was a great communicator and we are planning on coming back when we can stay longer!!!

Great house rental near Lake Raystown
The owner was the best. He gave us great advice for a local affordable restaurant and which trails to hike. Quick to respond and overly helpful. The place is near everything we needed and super clean and comfortable. So nice to have a place to eat breakfast and lunch and relax after a long day at the lake.

Amazing!
The hosts thought of everything at this gorgeous property. It was very clean and the labels on the drawers where super helpful. The dogs LOVED the yard and we enjoyed the swing by the horse barn. If it wasn’t so hot this week we would have spent more time on the wonderful deck. The lake was so close and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing every day. We will be back!!!!!

Family fishing trip
The property was extremely clean and neat. Everything was clearly labeled throughout the entire house. Only two miles from one of the best boat launches on the lake. Easy/ample trailer parking. Felt secure leaving my boat here while we explored some. The boys were able to walk to the lake to fish and kayak. The house also provided them with their own space to hangout. Saw a large variety of birds. Everything from hummingbirds to eagles. Will definitely be coming back. Also just a few miles from one of the best mountain bike trail networks on the east coast. They have hoses to clean your boats/ mountain bikes. Everything was laid out perfectly, and Dave and Sunny really did think of everything.

Loved it!
Dave and Sunny thought of everything. All we had to bring was our food, clothes and gear for lake activities. The house was very clean and there are plenty of labels to make things easy to find. Instructions were also really good.
My favorite features of the house are the quiet neighborhood, the deck and the peaceful back yard. I even saw hummingbirds! The coolest part is that there was a very easy walk to get to the water where we ended up fishing. If you want to get to the bigger shorelines, everything is nearby.
I was very happy with our experience and I would absolutely recommend this hidden gem.
