Expected more from a Hilton. I booked two rooms and reminded them of all info for 2nd traveler who would be arriving around 930pm after 8 hour drive. Well they "couldn't find his name" or mine for that matter and tried to deny he had a room booked. Not only was it booked but paid for!
Room: $ for water? Really? Electrical cord on lamp by bed was pulled partially out of lamp, remote needed new batteries, ice machine didn't work, and all pillows were same size/density.
Oh the breakfast...$$ for standard buffet. Disappointing. The bacon was good and our server very nice.

The breakfast was good. The food served in the bar was not. The spa was good but the temperature in the room was the same as it was outside. 17 degrees.

During my stay at The Double Tree Santa Fe hotel, I endured a dreadful experience with noisy guests staying in the room above mine. The disruption was so severe in noise that, in frustration, I called the front desk and they apologized and said they would take care of it. It did not stop. At 5:50 am I called down to the desk again repeatedly to no answer. Angry tired and frustrated I went down to the front desk to get a refund. Ernesto said he can’t do that, manager doesn’t come in till 9:00. That was his only solution, I asked him to do something about the noise and To my disbelief, instead of addressing the issue directly, he requested me to accompany them to the third floor to "hear it for themselves." This unusual request left me feeling perplexed and dissatisfied, as the staff's response seemed inadequate in resolving the disturbance.

We stayed on the 4th floor and the traffic noise was still very loud. Asked top possibly change rooms and was denied. Breakfast is $15 for the same thing you can get for free at any other hotel. Very disappointing and not a good value for the money.

The rooms carpet was dirty, no hot water, walls thin, neighbors loud, and homeless camp on property.

The overall experience was good. Did not like being charged for a king size bed and given two double beds. I asked the front desk clerk if I was charged for the king size bed and she said no because the difference was credited back to me which was not true and it happens sometimes when you book through a third party. It was only five bucks more but it was still annoying not getting what I had paid for and being given incorrect information.

I was a little disappointed. We were on a cross country trip and had just stayed at a beautiful Doubletree in MO. This one in Santa Fe is dated and could use some updating. Our room face the back overlooking dumpsters. The balcony had two old chairs. Furniture in our room tired. But very clean.

House cleaning didn't show three days in a row. Staff noisy in middle of the night outside of our room. A range of other problems -- phone in my room non-functional, drizzle from shower head.

I made request for shuttle to airport but the car was small so we could not get on the shuttle. we call Uber but it was too late. We lost our flight….

Place is a little dated. When I first walked in lobby noticed it was warm. They must have the a/c turned up or it’s broken. The front desk clerk had a fan blowing right on him for air flow. Not nearly as nice as the Hilton Garden Inn we stayed at night before which was fifty dollars cheaper and twice as nice.

It would have been nice if I had been notified that my reservation was canceled because they were having problems with their utilities. I had to find another hotel for the night.

I would not recommend this hotel, even though its by Hilton. There were many little bugs in the hand sink and the sink did not drain well. Just from brushing my teeth, the sink was half way full of water from not draining. the carpet has stains in it. Over all, this hotel needs to be updated and remolded.

The property was clean and nice enough, but not what I expect from a Double Tree property. Could use some updates

Clean and quiet room, excellent front desk service

Room obviously hadnt been inspected by the Head Housekeeper. Drawers were ajar, trash in the can, pillowcases were inside out. The shelf in the sink area was falling off and there was a bird nest with eggs on the balcony. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, especially
Julissa on front desk, Mikaela, and Erica in the dining room.

The MANAGER is the best I have met in a while and she is the ONLY saving grace. The handicapped rooms or disability access rooms, whatever u call them are a true joke for a Hilton property. You can not stick a handicapped plague on the outside wall by the door and stick a grab bar at the back of a tub in a super, SUPER small bathroom and call your room HANDICAPPED. This is not only wrong, it is a complete insult. Plus have a bed so high that short people need a small ladder to climb into. If u r handicapped then this is much harder to do. Please know I am talking about a junior suite size room too that costs over 200 a night, to begin with. This poor hotel is so outdated it is so sad. I feel for this wonderful manager who bent over backward to try to fix everything. She could not fix it but, it was not her fault. Broken and dirty recliner which was fixed but could not be cleaned, at least at that time. could go on about the issues for a long time. I will say the restaurant was not open if u wanted lunch however I must say the dinner food was exceptional for almost any hotel. The staff were all lovely. BLESS ALL THEIR HEARTS. Paris Hilton needed to sleep in my room with a handicapped person. SEE HOW THAT GOES.

This is an older hotel but very well maintained. Lobby is very cozy and inviting. Rooms show their age but are very clean.

Check in was friendly and full of hot cookies! Desk clerk was awesome and fun. So when we got to our door and we had a droopy handle no big deal as long as it worked, it did. Then inside the first time we went to use the faucet, the handle was also droopy. It worked but took some finesse. Bed was clean not comfortable, it drooped in the middle, but it worked for 1 night.

Horrible property in terrible shape. Needs remodeling.
The water has 0 pressure, the bottle for the shower gel was empty, the cookies weren't warm (it's a Double Tree), the staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful.
