Everything was ok but the gym equipment doesn't work properly.

Hotel is old and not in good shape.

One of the better places to stay in the area. But if you have an upstairs room, be prepared to haul your luggage because the elevator doesn’t go all the way up.
10.0
It was close to the trails and fit what I needed personally 100 percent.

I was expecting more out of the stay. I never received room service, parking lot was hard to navigate with all of the snow, and the hotel didn’t have any features that made it worth more than a cabin in the area. Will definitely never stay at this establishment when visiting again, and I’ve been making yearly trips to this area for the last 20 years. Some of the staff were nice, while other seemed really confused.

Overall this was a perfectly acceptable place to stay that is close the the mountain. We did have noisy people above us however and the heater never shut off. Either on or off which made it either hot or cold. The desk people were very nice however.

The rooms are a bit outdated for the price but the beds were decent and so was the breakfast. The property is very close to the Snow Summit/Bear Mountain parking lots/shuttles.

The staff was rude. The computers shut down. We couldn’t check in till around 6 pm. 4 pm is also super late check in. Waste of money for the amount on time you have at hotel room. Parking is bad.

One of the best hotels during our trip. It is well maintained with beautiful fittings. Room is large with a fireplace. It fits 4 of us comfortably and 3 big bags! And comes with a full breakfast. We loved it and service is amazing. Highly recommended!
Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Rooms aren't as described.
Breakfast isn't made to order.
Remodel in progreaa isn't listed, half-assed work.
Tipping signs everywhere almost in desperation.
Staff brings kids to work with them.
Lesson learned, spend the extra $10 and skip this place.

We didn’t have much time there as we only stayed for one night, the room was dated but met our needs

Property was clean updated. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fireplace could have a bit more flame. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Overall a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

A lovely spot near the ski resorts. You'll need to take a car to get to the main area of town. Nearby hiking trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was undergoing some renovations, so there were workmen around the property who started work around 8AM near the room I was in. There were some glitches in the room, one of which was a safety hazard, but the staff said they would address it as soon as I told them about it. The ad for the property said breakfast was included, with made to order items, but that was not the case - it was the standard items in steam trays and juice and pastries, etc. They also did not clean the room after my first night there - apparently, I had to request that, but they did not tell me that when I checked in. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was able to check in before 4 PM. The room is very clean and I most likely will stay here in January 2024 when I come back to the area.

Very nice rooms and good breakfast. My only complaint was the bedding needs to be upgraded. Not sufficient for the cold temperatures Had to have the heat on high at night

The onsite restaurant was excellent!

Friendly staff, quiet location.
Undergoing renovations.

Lovely place marred by the lack of a customer laundry which I’d expect in a property of this type, and a toilet which was hopeless and needed three flushes, something they were aware of as there was a note to not put much paper down the toilet. We didn’t, but it was still useless

Liked fireplace in room. Comfortable bed. Good hot breakfast with lots of choices. Very quiet in a nice setting.

Nice room for two adults & two young children.
Good breakfast, good facilities & close to attractions.

Property was close to the zoo, a Walgreens and The Village, where there are many dining options.

This property was downright eclectic. Wall to wall tile with hand painted flowers in the bathroom, but a light switch by the bathroom that turns the light on on the other side of the room. Antiquanted furnitings and old canvas paintings of flowers throughout... a fireplace that you can turn on via a timer dial on the opposing wall. Janky hot cocoa machine, but whatevers.
The fact that it's named Best Western Château is actually perfect. Bizarre charm, but everyone working there is awesome, and more than accomidating.
Blue jays on the back patio munching sun chips 😎

We really enjoyed our visit

was there for 4 nights, not once did they take out the trash, provide clean towls, had to go hunt the maids down to get coffee and coffee cups and tissues. all under the guise of covid, covid has been over for a long time. oh yes, so many ways to tip everybody. maybe if they paid a living wage the staff wouldn't have to beg for tips.
