ABOUT BRAZILIAN MODERN Newly remodeled and professionally decorated, this spacious (1300 square foot) ground floor retreat showcases the passions of the owners - their original photography and the family's Brazilian heritage - hence the name, Brazilian Modern. For those who crave cooking over a fire, you will find a propane barbeque and outdoor dining area just outside the French doors, in the private, fenced yard. It's the perfect spot for dinner al fresco, your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The two bedrooms feature cozy queen beds and the full size bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Linens and towels are provided, as well as full-size washer and dryer, for your convenience. Additionally, the home features off-street parking for up to two vehicles and a Level 2 EV charger, to ensure fast charging for owners of electric vehicles. Wonderful location. Walkable neighborhood. Spacious quarters with very nice amenities.

This place worked well for my wife & I and our 2 small dogs for our 2 week stay. Realize that it is the basement of a house and that entry is from the alley behind that house. So the address you get will take you to the front of the house which looks nothing like the pictures... once you realize that and go down the alley, all works well. And there is decent parking and access. The company/person that cleaned the place prior to us arriving didn't do that good a job -- left tons of laundry (towels, sheets, etc) in the dryer, didn't pick up some things.

My daughter and I stayed while visiting UW. This was perfect! Easy drive to the University and close access to restaurants in a lovely neighborhood. The parking was great. Rental property was perfect! Great appliances, clean, quiet and comfortable. Would stay again without hesitation.

The place surpassed my expectations! The only thing I would change is both the shower curtain and liner. But that’s it! The kitchen was well stocked and everything was super. I would stay there again.

We were so happy to find an apartment near our daughter’s house in Seattle. This apartment was spotless and very large. We had a private entrance and fenced yard. The furniture looked brand new. We appreciated the air conditioning during our summer visit.

We stayed here for two nights for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The location was great for various activities around Seattle. The space was well equipped with everything we needed. Parking was convenient, and the pull out sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable! Would stay here again :)

Enjoyed our stay in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The place was clean and comfortable with many of the owner's fun and excellent photographs on the walls. Lot's of interesting neighborhood action with two or three blocks, including great bakery and an awesome sandwich shop.

We 4 adult family members stayed here for an event with Seattle based family.
We did some cooking at the house and enjoyed watching TV at the end of the day. We were easily able to move about the Greenwood/Ballard area and enjoyed the decor very much

Nice for morning walks before/after breakfast. Close to Greenlake, Ballard Locks, Golden Gardens Park.

This rental was everything it said it would be in the listing. For a basement in a Seattle house, it was super quiet and had all the basic amenities.
The only real negative is that one of the beds is like sleeping on a rock - so I ended up crashing in my toddlers room since it was the back room/the darkest for him.
I'd also recommend replacing the shower curtain liner as it had mold on it.
