Clean, comfortable, everyone was nice and helpful
A little noisy and the parking garage is low gave me a little anxiety

The service at breakfast on the first day . We had to contact the manager a couple of times regarding a certain breakfast staff member being very racist n discriminating. On the second day MaryEllen was a perfect angel and a blessing !.

Location was great; We were pretty close to our destination and the Captiol building.
Everything was excellent, no complaints.

The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The direct access to the central courtyard was a nice addition. The design of the hotel with the arches made it feel less like a generic chain and more like an upscale boutique stay. The lobby was nicely laid out and I appreciated that there was a bar and restaurant, especially since the hotel was not really in a walkable part of the city (though there are places a short drive away). The pool and hot tub aren't super big, but they're nice to have (especially in the summer, I'm sure). All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and would stay here again!
The inner courtyard was under construction while we were there which was a bit of a bummer, but improvements have to be done sometime I suppose! It looked like they were putting down new tile pavers, preparing to add more landscaping, and possibly a water feature. I'm sure it will be nice when it's completed and feel like a bit of an oasis in the center of the hotel.

Clean and staff
No bell person and room was a long way from elevator. Location was difficult to get to with traffic and construction. Construction at property and wet paint everywhere

Location was nice, it was within walking distance to several restaurants. The lobby/bar area was a nice place to visit with family. Room overall was comfortable.
I feel it’s time to change their carpet, it just looked dingy. I was not a fan of the paid parking, like I’m already spending a fortune on this room and you’re gonna charge me to park my truck as well. It was especially irritating given check-in was a disaster because their computers went down when we went to go check in a little before 4 pm and had to leave and come back. We weren’t able to check in until 6 pm, so I feel like parking should’ve been compensated. The front desk lady was kind of a butt so I didn’t expect anything less.

Clerk at check in was friendly.
The room was small and old. There was no trash can in the room The elevator areas were very dirty. Television options poor — no casting available.

I did like the private parking garage and lobby area was gorgeous
The room did not match the photos, smelled a little weird and elevators are super sketchy, railings are broken and made lots of terrible noises.

Very central location for going downtown or north. It's very easy to access the highways. Love the recent renovations/updates, which are very comfortable and contemporary. Decent food options in the area, as well as Target/grocery stores. Self parking was super easy - go to level 1 (not lobby/ground), and the parking elevator will take you to your floor. Our room had two doors, one from the interior hallway and one from the exterior courtyard walk (see photo) - it was helpful to have both.
On the renovation flip side, parts of it were slightly noisier (in the courtyard and above us on 6?), but the front desk staff let us know in advance and told us to contact them if it was an issue. The pool wasn't heated/felt cold (late March) and the spa/hot tub was a bit warmer, but not hot. There weren't any towels by the pool 2 out of 3 times we visited. The restaurant was lacking staff in the mornings during the busy period. Tables weren't cleared and it took a long time to get seated (we gave up and went elsewhere once day).

The breakfast hot, plentiful and reasonably priced. The location was easily accessible. The staff as very pleasant and eager to assist.
I didn't like that Booking.com had never sent my reservation to the property and when I called I was told that there was an error but I was never notified. I was at risk of not having a room to stay in.

Lack of response. The management did not answer to queries after check out.
Lack of trust and transparency. They charged me additional USD 110 and did not explain why. I asked to share the settlement but I did not get any response after more than 48h and many reminders.
Noise. It is next to the highway and you can hear the traffic all night long.
Price. It is not worth the price for the value provided.
No early breakfast for those who have to leave early in the morning to the airport.
Impossibility to do early check out (due to system down, they said).
Nothing in the minibar of the room. Not even a single bottle of water.
Location. There is basically nothing nearby.

The room was nice and the cookies were yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The parking garage was dark and far away, especially as a lone woman. Just not a safe feeling. There is also a fee to park which we didn’t know about. The room was FAR away from the front of the hotel and had a deserted feel. The lobby was nice. I was with my son who had recently had a medical emergency so I was by myself walking around a lot (too far for him to walk from the garage). They are currently doing construction as an FYI.

The location was easy access to the freeway
I was out in Austin due to work travel, and the only inconvience I had was the parking lot access the cards kept deactivating.
Breakfast was not so great.

The building was beautiful inside and out.
It smelled like pot in the hallway the first day we arrived.

Location was good. Breakfast was good . Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the cookies and waters at check in. Plenty of covered parking and an area for oversized vehicles.
Rooms are dated and there was not enough room around the bathroom sink to place toiletries. Elevator to parking was scary. waitress in restaurant at breakfast was not friendly nor rude. She gave us our beverages and then our bill, but never checked on us to see if we needed anything

I did not like the fact that there were hidden fees, and as a guest of the hotel, I was forced to pay to park at the hotel where I was renting a room and this was not disclosed in advance that there would be this charge. And on top of that when I checked in and questioned Why I had to pay for parking at the hotel where I was paying for a room already. The response from the receptionist was that I did not have a choice. There was no other place to park, and I was not permitted to cancel my reservation and instead forced to pay for parking.

The breakfast was good and the restaurant service too.
This premises, along the highway, needs an urgent renovation of rooms. Totally outdated. The hair dryer didn't work... maintenance came, knocked 3 times on the power plug in the wall and then it worked. Well...I didn't know that technique, but it would be nice to have it the old way: plug it in and it works.

Breakfast buffet was great, and the pancake and coffee was amazing!
I purchased the breakfast option with my booking. Upon calling the front desk the morning of my checkout to inquire how my breakfast process worked, I was told I did not have the breakfast option with my purchase. I explained that I show that I purchased it, and I'll be willing to show proof. I was placed on hold by the gentleman assisting me, and was then told that I did have the breakfast option purchased, and to come down to the front desk to obtain my voucher. Upon getting to the front desk, the gentleman I was on the phone with handed me a free drink voucher. It took the staff at Texture (the breakfast restaurant on site) to view my proof, take a picture of it, and then go and speak with the front desk, before I was approved to eat the breakfast I paid for. Texture handled the situation professionally, I just wished the front desk would have been more attentive, and showed some diligence in their dealing with the matter.
