Great little place that’s so close to the Colosseum. Sara was lovely and made sure we were familiar with the apartment. Communication was great plus there was AC. We enjoyed our stay in Rome !

We really enjoyed the apartment. The Property manager on site, Sarah, was wonderful. She was helpful and informative. The location couldn’t be beat, it’s right next to the colosseum and the metro stop. We would highly recommend staying here.

Set up a check in at 1300 to store bags with the potential to actually access the room and a 1500 guaranteed checkin.
Arrived at the location at 1310. The contact person would not respond to our buzzer. Gained access through the security doors and knocked on all the doors, spoke with one resident, no one knew anything about this VRBO. Sat in hallway for 45 minutes, no one was around. Went up the street to attempt contact with owner, took another hour to get online with our VRBO account. Finally contacted owner, he gave 4 different reasons why the contact person was not there. Finally said she was there, walked down and rang buzzer for 5 minutes, no response. Gave up and booked a hotel room as we had been awake for 24 hours flying from the USA. Completely unacceptable, should not be allowed on VRBO. No refund yet, probably won't get one either as this appears to be a scam.

A little hiccup on check-in, but overall a very good, comfortable place to stay. Perfect base for exploring Rome. Having the little balcony on the courtyard was a bonus.

Apartment is in a great location. It is snug in size but totally fine for 2 people. Small balcony outside in the courtyard was lovely to sit in the evening. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. Washing machine was a great help as we were so hot after our day of siteseeing - wonderful to freshen our clothes!!

+ Nice host. + Central location.
She who gave us the keys could not speak English but Italian and French.
The apartment was dusty and smelled basement, damp. I got strong effects of allergies. 2 days of rain meant that we did not got dried shoes and clothes, it was not possible to turn on the heat. Overall: Not good experience to staying here. 3 of 6 stars from us :(

My husband, infant daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in May. The location couldn't be beat right outside the Metro station and the Colosseum. Secure and quiet building. It was lovely to have the door open to the courtyard. The toys we're our daughter's favourite part!! Would definitely recommend!!

Our flight was delayed but the lady at the condo still available to help. This condo is surprisingly well above our expectation. Tiny but everything are there. Clean, Quiet, Friendly, 3 minutes walk to Metro Coloseo station and safe place to be. We had lunch at owner's restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. We'd wonderful time in Rome with this comfortable place to stay. We will be going back there again when visit Roma.

Language barriers seemed to be a trend in my interaction with this property, which is why I give it 3 stars instead of 4. The owner was good about responding to my emails in a reasonable amount of time, but communication was fairly curt and sometimes unclear. We only met with the woman who lives next door and cleans the apartment, not the owner. She collected full payment in cash at check-in. She does not speak English, and my Italian is a bit too basic, but fortunately I speak enough French to communicate with her in a common language. She was polite, and offered to be available if we should need anything, which we did not. The photos are accurate and the place is clean. It is on the ground level of a building with a locked main door (with buzzer) plus locked apartment door. The place is quite small but well-designed to be sufficient for two people for a few days. The bathroom is actually crazy narrow but we made it work. The AC worked well, which was nice since it seemed quite warm in Rome for April. The location near the Colosseum/Forum and metro was good. The area is pretty touristy, (several large tour groups walk down this street daily), but that is to be expected so close to such a major landmark. There are a few decent cafes up the hill. Also up the hill and around the corner is Hostaria da Nerone, which is fair and we ate their twice out of convenience. (The following does not affect my rating but: Please do be careful on the bunk bed. I did fall off and injure my ankle badly and my hip some too. It's good to note that the futon folds out to a bed, so it is not necessary to sleep in the bunk bed.)

The apartment had everything we needed. Location was perfect and the owner was great. The bed was a little tricky but I love the concept of it. I also liked the expandable table. I think I learned a lot of space-saving tips from our stay here. Thanks!

The apartment was very nice and clean, close to everything and the host as super easy to get a hold off. The apartment looks much better in person than in the pictures. I highly recommend this place!Luis
