Stay in this spacious vacation home that sleeps 8 and you'll experience a 1st class mountain vacation home that has everything you could wish for. As you enter the front door you'll be greeted with large log walls and high vaulted wood ceilings that provide an open mountain feeling. There's an awesome stone gas fireplace to cut the chill of the winter and cooler evenings. The light streams in from the large designer windows while the mountain décor fills the home with warmth and comfort. You will enjoy cooking in the fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen opens to the great room and includes a wonderful granite breakfast bar and dining room table seating 8 people, perfect for entertaining family and friends. A full size washer and dryer is located off the hall for your convenience and free high speed WIFI internet and cable TV is included. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms downstairs, one with a log queen bed. The other bedroom has a very nice log bunk bed, with one twin and one double size bed. Upstairs you'll discover a large loft that opens to the great room. This is a terrific place for kids, teens or anyone who enjoys a separate entertainment or reading space, complete with sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. Also upstairs is a very nice master bedroom with a queen bed and beautiful granite master bath. Separate from the main house there is a wonderful game room to entertain everyone, complete with a pool table, foosball table and dart board. There is also a sleeper sofa that will sleep 2. What a great place for the kids, young and old! Above the game room you'll discover a separate private master suite. Complete with a queen bed, a sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV, there is also a nice full granite bathroom. Pack your bathing suits because you will love the new outdoor Jacuzzi after an exhilarating day of activities. The stars are amazing in the mountains and there's nothing more relaxing than star gazing in a new quality Artesian Spa with LED lighting and waterfall!! Bring your bikes and golf clubs in the summer, and your snow boards and skies in the winter. There is plenty of room here for the whole crew. You'll appreciate the easy access and parking for 4 cars inside the fully fenced yard. You are less than 5 minutes from Bear Mountain, the golf course and the zoo. Sucha a nice cozy place in Moonridge! Super close to the Bear Mountain Resort which was great since we came to snowboard! The rooms were comfortable, lots of towels provided! I think the best part was our hostess, Megan! From the start she was very personable and helpful finding me a place that would accommodate my needs! I was in a hurry to find a new place since the cabin I booked (from someone else) fell thru last minute. Megan was heaven sent! She was so receptive and quick to respond whenever I had a question! We all had a great time and would definitely stay there again!

Very Cozy and Ideal Cabin
We had a great time at this cabin again. This is our fourth time renting this place. Check in process was smooth and everything was clean when we got there. This cabin has all your needs and is well stocked. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again.

We had such a great time staying in this cabin and it fit all 10 of us just great! The layout of the house was perfect to give each of our families their own little area should they need their own space.
The location of the cabin was awesome and it was so easy to get to the ski areas.
Just one little note, the coffee maker in the kitchen didn't work well for us at all. But other than that we had a great time!

Great Cabin!
We had such a great time staying in this cabin and it fit all 10 of us just great! The layout of the house was perfect to give each of our families their own little area should they need their own space.
The location of the cabin was awesome and it was so easy to get to the ski areas.

The cabin is very close to Bear MTN ski resort, but not walkable. It is very spacious and there are several areas so people can spread out. The jacuzzi was broken and there were several maintenance issues with the house. For example, the soap dispensers in the shower did not have soap, the lighters for the fireplace didn't work, no one could figure out how to work the TV in the family room (including the property manager and her husband), there were no coffee filters or basic salt and pepper. Several of the dishes, etc in the kitchen were very dirty. The property manager made every attempt to fix these issues... but this is an expensive property and things should work and be replenished. The property manager had to come by 3 times for different things. While she was extremely responsive... it was not ok that these things were not handled prior to us arriving. Overall, a great house- just a frustrating experience.

This cabin is amazing! This is our second year renting this same cabin for my husband’s birthday celebration. This cabin is very clean with everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen and board games. Beds are VERY comfortable. Rental company was very professional and was quick in responding to any of my questions.

Two families stayed at Canyon Retreat Log Home. The main cabin had three bedrooms, an upstairs loft with TV, downstairs living room for watching TV or the roaring fire, and a kitchen.
The "garage/2nd cabin" was great. The garage has been turned into a game room with a pool table, foosball and a dart board. Upstairs, is a bedroom with a queen bed and a pull out sofa. Plus, there is an outdoor jacuzzi. And the property is gated so if you bring your dog you can be sure they are safe.

Appeared to be professionally decorated. Adequatly stocked. Somewhat disorganized kitchen cabinets. Needed paper towels. TV's were good, but instructions needed. Remote didn't work to turn on the cable box, you had to actually push the button on the box. Several minor issues. Guest house toilet didn't flush properly. Toilet paper holder was broken off when we arrived. Heater in guest house was so loud it woke me up when it went on and again when it went off. I tried to set the fan on auto so that it would stay on through the night, but this feature didn't work. We choose a rental with a flat driveway intentionally and assumed that the snow would be moved prior to our arrival. It wasn't. Also we thought we would have use of the garage. Our mistake. The garage is a nice game room that the kids did use. One foosball handle broken. Hot water comes our freezing cold at first then goes to scalding temperature. I am surprised the faucets do not have temperature regulators as this is dangerous for small children. The bed in the guest room was good. Linens were good. Pillows were pathetic. Towels are cheap & small so bring your own. Easy to find, GPS picked it up.
