It's a haven for culinary adventures with family and friends, fully stocked with glassware, dishes, and essentials, including complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. Upstairs, three bedrooms boast modern design. The master bedroom offers a cozy reading nook, and the other two bedrooms treat you to captivating mountain views. The loft includes a sofa bed and a convenient desk area. We crafted this haven for your enjoyment in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This house was an amazing experience—from the motion lighting at your feet to the well-stocked kitchen to the “tushy toilets”!!! The view of the surrounding mountains is perfect—sunrise and sunset. Jim and Barbara are excellent hosts with great recommendations and an open line of communication from start to finish.

Traveled for a girls trip and stayed for 3 nights. This is by far the best VRBO we have stayed at in our travel history. Jim and Barbara have thought of everything! We were greeted on arrival and communication with the owner was clear. Very comfortable and clean. So very organized . In a convenient location and so many helpful items. It’s like never leaving home. Environmentally friendly and bidets in all bathrooms! We did enjoy the hot tub in the evenings in the cool December air. It was perfect. Many laughs among friends. Definitely a place to return to in the future. Do not hesitate to book this property!

The house overlooked the quiet valley that was colored with fall foliage at the time of our stay. Even the drive up was beautiful into this quiet neighborhood-caution driving at night as there are some sharp turns! The house was extremely well kept with new enough features to give us some Christmas present ideas for how to make a home more homey. The hosts were friendly and helpful during the process of booking, check in, check out and the entirety of our trip- the perfect dose of the neighbor you’ve always wished you had! I highly recommend this house to anyone new to visiting the Asheville area. This is a one of a kind experience that other bookings will not provide!

We had a wonderful long weekend in Asheville. The hosts had outstanding communication, with a guide book that explained everything we could possibly need to know. The house is beautiful, as were the views, the leaves, and all the little touches that were so thoughtful. Can't wait to come again!

Jim and Barbara, the owners, are wonderful hosts. They have thought of everything which makes staying here so easy. The house is beautiful and I absolutely love watching the birds all day.... and I am not a birder. but with the feeders so close to the windows and basically hanging in the woods, makes for a very relaxing time. We had friends join us in the house at the last minute for one night and Jim and Barbara were very welcoming of them. We would stay again in a heartbeat and who knows as we continue our search for a retirement place we just might. Thanks!

What a wonderful home! We had such a wonderful experience, it truly felt like it was home away from home. We met Jim the first day as he wanted to make sure everything was perfect, and it was!!! There wasn’t anything they didn’t think of, and we so enjoyed our stay!! For sure going back!!!!! This was a 10 plus plus ❤️

We had a couple’s weekend for my hubby’s 40th. The house is in a quaint neighborhood off a main road, easy to find. Another couple was able to charge their car with was a major plus for the house to have a EV charging! Everything is super organized and if you forgot something, they probably have it. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. The host lives next door and is great with communicating. My only issue was the steepness of the road/driveway, but were from FL so I’m just not used to it. There’s no street parking so we parked one in the garage (two car garage) and the other in the driveway. Our friends said they’ll definitely be booking here as well in the future! Loved staying here!

We met Jim for a quick hello when we arrived, which was nice to be able to be greeted and welcomed. Everything was so organized and thought out. He even had guest accounts on the smart TVs, so you didn’t have to log into and out of your accounts.. the list is very long for all that was thought out, including camp chairs to borrow to watch sunsets from the parkway, bug spray, back packs and hiking sticks one could borrow, a portable speaker.. I felt we were kindred spirits of a similar tribe. The house was so peaceful with the birds and the screened in porch. There’s a grocery store at the bottom of the hill, and Asheville is just 15 min away, and the blue ridge parkway is around the corner. I just loved our time there, I couldn’t give them enough praise and gratitude if I tried.

From all of our beach and mountain vacation rentals over the years, this was by far our favorite of all! Everything about the home exceeded our expectations...the cleanliness, the private and peaceful location, and the many wonderful amenities. The home was centrally located and about 10 minutes from everything. Jim and Barbara are gracious hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly want and need during your stay! The electronic guide was also wonderful. We loved watching the variety of birds on the feeders, relaxing in the hanging deck chairs, and seeing a wild turkey in the yard! We only wish we had more days there to be able to take full advantage of all the amenities available during our stay. Do not hesitate to stay in this lovely home!

We were in Asheville for a girls weekend and this house was perfect for our needs! Great location: Downtown, the Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway were all within a 10 minute drive. The porch overlooking the hills below was our favorite part of the house where we enjoyed our morning coffee and late night s’mores. Jim and Barbara have added so many extra touches not often found in rental properties such as a s’mores bar, games (yard and board), umbrellas, newspaper for wet shoes, water bottles to borrow for hiking, etc. They also have a fully stocked kitchen in terms of cooking supplies, coffee filters, foil, tupperware, etc, making it so much easier to cook a few meals at the house without bringing or buying all of the supplies you take for granted at home! Overall, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this property!

We stayed a week at Jim and Barbara's property, which felt like it was floating in the forest canopy, yet was only minutes from Asheville. Every detail that could be thought of was taken care of by our hosts, from kitchen utensils to games and puzzles, guides to how to use the TV's, hot tub, etc., along with hints for fun things to do while in Asheville and the surrounding mountains. Our hosts embraced technology with QR codes that provided information, solar power and EV charging, but still were "old school" with printed guidebooks and instructions. My wife and I, along with our adult children and their partners all agreed, that this was far and away the best vacation rental we have ever had.

This property is better than expected, with a gorgeous view that makes you feel like you are out in the mountains, as well as tons of wildlife. Yet, you are so close to downtown and other things. Perfect vacation destination for a family. The house is beautiful from top to bottom and has all of the amenities you could want, plus lots of little extras that make it special. Could not have been nicer! Highlight was the bird-feeders that attracted all sorts of birds that we learned to identify. Jim carefully refilled them every day and we felt like we were in a bird sanctuary. Highest recommendation!!

This home has everything possible you need for your stay and was very clean. The only thing I would say is that I wish I had known the property owner lived next door. Although it might be helpful to some, personally it felt a little intrusive.

Great house with gorgeous views! My friends and I enjoyed our time and would return. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, including chip clips! The small extras such as umbrellas by the door, made life so much more convenient while traveling. The house comes with an easy-to-share web guide so all travelers could look up info they were curious about.

Jim and Barbara are very thoughtful hosts who have created a special home very convenient to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house has everything you need, including a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders and sitting in the hanging chairs outside. As constructive feedback, we noticed the washer in the laundry room had some mildew buildup (common with front loaders), but other than that everything else about the rental experience was phenomenal and we absolutely would recommend the property to others!

The house was wonderful! The hosts were great! We were in awe of all the little things he thought of… the floor lights under bed that lit up for a nighttime trip to bathroom, the reading lights over beds, extra phone chargers. The porch was our favorite place to be😀

The house was in immaculate shape. The amenities were great. They had labels for just anything you would need some type of answer direction for. They are very responsive as they live in the house next door. To be honest we were a little concerned about that but they never intervened and it was like they weren’t there. But it was nice to know they were so close if anything was ever needed. Even let us park in their driveway! Only about a 10 minute drive to dt Asheville (yes Ubers will pick you up). Super great people and def recommend this house!

We loved this house! The house is located in a lovely and scenic neighborhood very convenient to Asheville and the Biltmore House, as well as other destinations. The house was clean, comfortable, modern and extremely well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. It was also well stocked with the most basic kitchen supplies - spices, olive oil, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, etc. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. And, the host gave us a great recommendation for North Carolina barbecue just down the street!

I recently stayed at this Vrbo hosted by Jim and Barbara for my friend's bachelorette weekend. It was an exceptional experience. The hosts were incredibly gracious and thoughtful, ensuring that everything we needed was taken care of. The hot tub had amazing views and was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the added touch of games and a s'mores tray for a fun night in. Additionally, the robes in every closet added a luxurious feel to our stay. The neighborhood provided a secluded environment even though you're only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Overall, this rental allowed for a stress-free girl's trip and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient home away from home in Asheville.

This home was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for a girls reunion. Jim and Barbara were wonderful hosts. Jim met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the place. The house was stocked with all the extras that went above and beyond to include robes in the bedroom closets. We took advantage of the mobile massages, they were so amazing we rebooked for a second time! They provided us with lots of recommendations for good hikes and dinning. We enjoyed beginning our day sitting on the screened in porch drinking coffee and taking in the views. At the end of the day, we relaxed in the hot tub watching the stars. We will definitely be back for another girls reunion.

This was one of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. It was fully equipped for everything we needed. The hot tub was divine and the views from the balcony were gorgeous. It felt very secluded but was literally 10 minutes to downtown Asheville. The hosts were also very communicative and while we didn’t need anything from them, I definitely felt like they would have responded immediately if something came up. Also, minimal cleanup was a bonus—I’ve stayed at rentals where I literally had to do an hour of chores before I left and this place’s checkout process is simple and reasonable. We will definitely try to rebook the next time we are in the area.

We had a fantastic time, the house was beautiful and very accommodating. 6 women were in our group and there was plenty of space. The owners supplied lots of extras that made our packing easier and the little things we didn't think about needing, they thought of, its a great place.

The property was just as advertised. Jim and Barbara have thought of everything you could need. This was are annual holiday trip with our 2 sons. This year we also had their fiancees with us. The property is quiet with lots of wild life, bird feeders outside the windows and turkeys roaming the neighborhood. The girls loved feeding them!
We had a great day at the Biltmore and other days hitting breweries. Jim had great suggestions. with much info in the rental also. Unfortunately after staying here I'll probably spending money on installing bidets at home!!

House is just as listed. Very well stocked with everything you need. Just bring yourselves and clothes. Very clean, good knives and kitchen accessories. Quiet and private neighborhood. Loved all the technology in the house. Responsive owners, they saw to our every need. Close to great hiking, many breweries and the Biltmore. Check out the Asheville pinball museum if you have a chance, it's a fun place. Will book this property again if in the area.

This wonderful house is exactly as described. The owners have literally thought of every detail to make your stay even more perfect. Super clean, beautiful views including a group of wild turkeys we enjoyed watching from the windows, comfy beds and lots of little touches along the way!
We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
