About this condo rental
Nestled in Santa Fe, this attractive condo for £125 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Cottage at 453 Cerrillos, City of Santa Fe Short Term Rental Permit 157845, is a 500 square foot studio cottage with a privatecourtyard, less than three blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza. This beautiful, recently renovated cottage is part of a classic Santa Fe Compound of buildings dating back to New Mexico's Territorial Period before 1912. The compound at 453 Cerrillos includes The Loft at 453, VRBO #1261468 (1 br/1 bath) and Mae's Casita at 453, VRBO #1562504 (2 br/2 bath). 233 W Manhattan uses the same parking and includes Casa Dominguez (1 br/1 bath) and Circa 1885 (1br/1bath). The property is remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and the State Capitol grounds. The Cottage is now divided into a complete kitchen with full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, range and counter-cooktop, a sleeping area with closet, and a living room and dining area. The bathroom has been sensitively renovated with a large shower, subway tiles and mosaic floor tiles in a vintage style. Off the adjoining private parking lot there is a good sized courtyard shared with a two-person law office. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakery, is conveniently around the corner. Performance venues Lensic Theater and St. Francis Auditorium as well as Site Santa Fe, New Mexico Museum of Art, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico History Museum are all less than a 10 minute walk from the Cottage. Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees. Should you have any suggestions, please let Linda and Lance know.

Overall it was what we needed. Only complaint was the difficulty in finding the place.

This tiny home was perfect for my husband and me. The owners were thoughtful in welcoming us with wine, cheese, and crackers. Their attention to details like extra blankets and toiletry supplies, along with clear instructions for using the appliances, made for a comfortable stay. "Minutes from the Plaza" is an accurate statement! My husband and I are 70 years old and it took us 10 minutes to walk from the cottage to the Plaza. We left our car in the parking lot almost the whole week. The one note I will mention is that the hot water heater is SMALL. The rest of the place was so great, though, that we just adjusted to it.
We will look for this owner's properties the next time we're in town!

This cottage was simple but well appointed. Having arrived very late without a proper dinner I was pleased to find they had left me some wine and cheese and crackers.
The location is very central to Santa Fe very close to the different adventures I had planned.

The location was great for us while attending the Santa Fe International Film Festival. The property owners were very friendly and responded to our questions very quickly. All the major amenities. A little quirky internet router but not a major issue. All in all, a perfect place for us!

The cottage was so very clean, comfortable and cozy! The owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers which was wonderful after a day of traveling. After a mixup with our reservation ( our fault) they were so nice about it and helped us find reservations in Taos which was our next stop. Very centrally located, a short walk to town and to the Railyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Linda and Lance!

We loved our little home away from home. It was well furnished and very convenient. The owners took extra steps to make our stay comfortable by leaving snacks and beverages. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again.

We had a great time in Santa Fe and our stay at the Cottage added to that. It is close to downtown and yet removed some for some peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here or other properties there. It is perfect for two with all that you would need.

Lovely cottage. Very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided including an interesting library of reading materials. Walking distance to most everything is a plus. As it helped us walk off all the delicious Santa Fe meals.
Well done Lance& Linda!

Clean property and great proximity to local eateries & shops. Welcome beverage and snacks nice addition. We would recommend property to anyone visiting the area.

This is a roomy studio-sized property. We did not cook meals in the kitchen but it had the right amount of bowls, plates , etc for breakfasts and snacks. The bathroom is large enough for toiletries for 2 people. Both have nice fixtures and upscale feel. A nice welcome package greeted us when we arrived. Storage space for clothes could be increased. Wi-fi was a bit slow (17Mb/s) and had to be rebooted one time. At night there is significant light leakage through the window shades, particularly through the window in the main door. The hvac heats and cools but is not intuitive, does not abide by the thermostat at all, and the provided instructions are inadequate, at least for times when days are warm but not hot and nights are cool but not cold. The place feels a bit like it is near the end of a long remodel and indeed the owner stopped by unannounced to replace a light switch. Although we never felt unsafe we would feel better with the addition of a deadbolt on the door and a stronger door lock code. Overall we enjoyed our stay here other than some difficulty sleeping due to the issues mentioned above.

We had a great time in Santa Fe. The location was walkable to downtown and to restaurants near the rail yard, as well as a nice little coffee shop almost next door. It's not particularly cute on the outside since it's behind a store, but nicely decorated and very comfy for 2 inside. The bed was great, the towels were nice and the internet worked really well for working remotely.

The cottage was perfectly situated for walking to many of Santa Fe’s wonderful places for visit. Comfortable, clean and just the right size for the two of us. Appreciated the welcome wine and cheese! We would definitely stay again.

This was our first visit to Santa Fe, and “The Cottage”, was the perfect place to stay. When we arrived the place was welcoming, including a bottle of red wine, cheese and crackers, and well appointed. The old saying, “location, location, location”, is true! We walked everywhere, including breakfast (Tia Sophia’s and Saveur Bistro) and dinner (Paloma’s, The Shed, and Coyote Cafe), as well as the New Mexico Museum of Art, and the many shops. For some quiet contemplation, we visited the outside Stations of the Cross garden at the Cathedral of St Francis, and we’re profoundly moved by the bronze statues of sculptor Gibb Singleton. We took a short drive up Old Santa Fe Trail and visited the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, and the Museum of International Folk Art. We took a longer drive to Ojo Caliente to soak in the mineral baths. It was a day of relaxation and restoration. The best part was knowing we were coming back to, “The Cottage”, our own little oasis.
Thank you Linda and Lance. We will be returning to Santa Fe!

This cute little spot is walking distance from the plaza, and even closer to a quality coffee and bakery spot. The hosts left out a very nice welcoming gift, and were communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was so close to everything, including wonderful cafes, restaurants, down town and the rail yard and only a short drive to other attractions like Bandeiler National Monument and Los Alamos. It was very quiet. Lots of amenities, including welcome snacks : ). There are three other units (some smaller, some larger in the same area, so check with the host to find the right match for you. The host/manager was very responsive to a few small issues. We would highly recommend this cottage and be repeat guests.

I loved this little studio apartment although it was tucked into a commercial area it was very quiet and easy to access. Quick walk to the Plaza for museums, shopping and dining. Just blocks from an amazing coffee shop and another great breakfast place. Can’t recommend this one highly enough!

Such a great, clean cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Linda left wine, cheese, crackers, coffee and milk for us which was so lovely. We walked to the nearby coffee shop and bakery and we walked to Canyon Road, the plaza, museums, restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable and the little kitchen had everything we needed. My husband had to attend a virtual meeting one day and we were worried about ahead of time about the Wi-Fi but it worked fine for him to be on video. Great experience! We’d definitely return.

The property is in a good location where many shops/resturants are walking distance. We also appreciate the owner's quick response to have a tree removed that had fallen on the car overnight due to a storm.
Overall, a very nice stay.

This well-appointed cottage is within walking distance of all of Santa Fe’s attractions. It has its own safe parking area. It’s very comfortable with plenty of room for a couple.

Well appointed efficiency space. Even enjoyed the small portable electric space heater to boost the temperature in the bathroom. A sudden snow storm came through while we were enjoying Santa Fe.
