So Much Good - This exquisite vacation rental is located in the beautiful Crystal Beach area of Destin, Florida. So Much Good includes a main house and guest house consisting of six total bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and accommodations for 16 fortunate guests. There are plenty of new furnishings for leisurely lounging, an outdoor putting green and ping pong table for entertainment, and a screened-in porch with comfortable seating that overlooks the pool from the main house. So Much Good is located just a block north of Scenic Highway 98, a short distance from the beautiful white sand beach. Several popular restaurants are just seconds away including Camille's at Crystal Beach, which is within walking distance. The convenient location is also just a few blocks away from a Disney-like version of a shopping village known as the Destin Commons. This complex is complete with interactive fountains, restaurants, upscale designer clothing shops, a giant Bass Pro Shop and a Belk's Department Store. Grocery stores, wine outlets, and top nationally known restaurants are also close by. Main House: First Floor: Living Room with Screened Porch Access, Kitchen, Dining, Queen Bedroom, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo. Second Floor: King Primary Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Balcony Access, Queen Bedroom with Two Twin Bunks, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo. Third Floor: Loft Bedroom with Twin Daybed + Twin Trundle, Wet Bar, Balcony Access. Guest House: First Floor: King Bedroom with Patio Access, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Queen Bedroom with Wet Bar and Patio Access. *Add $50.00 per day to heat pool (available Oct-April if needed) *Note – This property may have date restrictions that apply. There was “So Much Good” about this place! It was a lovely home, with more than enough space, in an enchanting neighborhood so close to the beach! The pool was a delight, and management was super helpful. We had a wonderful time there.

The overall stay was good and we did enjoy our time, but I wish I knew the following.
The check-in process was so easy and they were very quick to respond to a request. They sent reminders (which was great!) The property management company is one of the most attentive.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook with and plenty of dinnerware. The keurig has to have the handle held down the entire time you brew (took me awhile to figure out what was wrong). Bring everything you will need to cook with (spices,etc), extra trash bags, dishwasher detergent (they only give you a couple) so you don’t have to buy them while there. This may have been in the instructions and I missed it.
The home is walking distance to the beach which was great. The part I didn’t know prior is the section of beach available is a very small strip as the hotels have private beaches on both sides. If you don’t get there early there will be little to no room. We visited during Fall Break, so I can’t imagine what high season would be like.
We picked this home because of the location, pool and fun outdoor activities they have in the backyard. The kids loved playing ping pong and that was nice to have. We didn’t opt to heat the pool but should have as it was very cold and never used. There was someone at the house everyday (lawn care, pool service, pest company)

This was the perfect property for us. Everyone had a room that worked for them. The backyard was a blast … heated pool, ping pong table and putting green were all used! Location to beach excellent and Camille’s was great!

We shared the house with one other family (7 people total) for Spring Break and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The house was extremely clean and was stocked with all the necessary items to make it feel like home.
The location was ideal. A very short walk to the end of the street for access to the beach. We rented a golf cart for the week so we would used that to haul beach items down for the day (tent, chairs, cooler, etc.). Additionally, the house is less than 5 minutes from the grocery store, shopping, pharmacy, etc. It's also in a residential beach neighborhood so it's just quiet enough so you don't feel like you're right in the middle of all the touristy and commercial hustle and bustle.
In regards to dining options we REALLY liked the wood fire pizza options from Pazzo Italiano and breakfast at Camille's around the corner.

The place is great! We really enjoyed our family vacation at this property! The pool is awesome and we really liked the house. Only issue we had was that the beach access is public not private and it’s very small. Which means it’s really impossible to have a good seat on the beach during the summer months. If you pay so much to rent a beach house you should be able to have private beach access. So we found ourselves staying and enjoying the pool at the house instead. Walk to the beach isn’t as bad as we had thought. I would recommend not hauling too much to the beach if you’re walking it unless you have plenty of people to help carry things.

The only draw back was the size of the public beach. If you are an early riser and can set up early, no issues. But it does get crowded, quickly.

Plenty of space and everything was clean, well cared-for. Location is great and the pool is wonderful… better than most. Great place to stay! BYO toiletry refills and I recommend renting a golf cart as icing on the cake.

The master bedroom needs a different headboard hit the wall while turned BG over in your sleep. Had to use floor fans the entire time just to make it somewhat comfortable in the house. The pool was great. Table outside needs to be replaced falling apart, grill outside needs to be replaced inside by burners broken. The place needs some work on several areas.

Overall experience very nice. The house has the potential to be a 10 but needs a little upkeep. Unfortunately I think the shortage of workers was part of the issue. A few things broken and in need of repair and replacement. When we called management they responded quickly, but I felt the issues should have been addressed before arrival. Example 2 badly broken lounge chairs, broken shades. Once again want to stress we would stay again it is a very nice house overall. Thank you

We loved the location. Nice big property and house. It could have been cleaner. There was broken glass on the floor in the laundry room when we checked in. There were a few items of disrepair; a broken chair, broken off shower handle, hole in the blinds, the oven is out of calibration (increase temp by about 25 degrees.) We received a call from the manager that we were being too loud at THREE O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON. Boo!!! The listing says there is a twin trundle in the bunk room but it is a queen bed. If you stay, there are plenty of serving bowls, everyday plates and bowls, flatware and knives. Bring a good frying pan. There is a water dispenser in the refrigerator--we did not find it until the third day. Super helpful.

Family vacation - loved it!!
This was the best vacation for our entire family! We could walk to beach and everything so convenient to the house. The private pool was perfect for us when we wanted to hang out at the house and the pool house added extra space. We would highly recommend this property.

Great stay, perfect customer service, loved the house, public beach access was awful
This property was exactly what it looked like in the pictures: beautiful and spacious. We had to call the property management company a couple of times (nothing big) and they responded immediately. It's a short walk to the beach, but once you get there the public beach was tiny. Maybe 30 feet bordered by roped off sections of beach hotels. During COVID it was quite stressful to see how crowded it was, just fyi.

Wonderful Week
We loved this property and it was perfect for our family. The house was very clean and had great amenities. The guest house which we were planning to use for older kids was not usable the entire week. The AC was not working. We did let them know after the 1st day and they came several times to look at it. They said they needed to replace the unit and that was not going to be done after we left. Also the pool filter was broken so we did have pool people at the house about 4-5x that week and it didn't get fixed until 2 days before we left. It was a bit much having workers coming in the yard most days. They did have to to shock it 3x while we were there due to no circulation so no swimming the hour after they shocked it. Hopefully everything is working great now. They were very responsive when we let them know. Unfortunately both things broke down during our stay. It is a great house and we would come back to it in the future.

So Much Potential
This property would have been perfect if the a/c in the guest house been maintained. It needed Freon and a filter change (there’s an apparent leak that has not been fixed - the a/c guy indicated he had to service the same unit last year). One family with a small child had to sleep on sofas in the main house the first night. A defective portable unit was brought in followed by a window unit. We checked in on a Sunday. Property management knew ahead of our arrival there was a problem with the a/c. The unit was finally serviced Tuesday. This was not acceptable to us. We called and called to get answers on what was taking so long to get it fixed and felt like we were getting the run around. It came down to them being “embarrassed” to admit their negligence. We will not use Ocean Reef in the future.
