The checkout process has a big problem:
We put the key on the table of room as they requested, but after we closed our room, found the gate of the floor was key locked by other customer in the same floor, we couldn’t open it by the release button as usual.
So our family were locked in the hallway! And we supposed to catch up the train to Rome.
I knocked the other customer’s door, but they ignored and didn’t want to help. I can’t blame them too much maybe they don’t speak English and don’t understand what happened.
It’s about 7am morning, I contacted the number of management, no response. I contacted the lady Diana who helped us checked in, she is very nice but couldn’t help because she also has to contact management.
Finally Diana contacted the other customer, and they came to unlock the gate to release us.
We were locked about 40 minutes and late for the train. So have to buy the new tickets.
We asked the management to compensate our ticket price, about 131 euro, but they refused. They said it’s the other customer’s fault , they shouldn’t key locked the gate from inside. But there’s no any sign on the gate mentioning that, it should be the fault of management.
I will keep try to contact booking.com for the issue.
It could be much more worse if we missed the international flight.

The apartment was in a superb location in the historical quarter, with bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. All the sights were an easy walking distance away. The bedroom was large and comfortable and our son had a sofa bed in the living room which he was very happy with.
The kitchenette was extremely small and only good for making drinks and breakfasts really. We had wanted to cook main meals but felt it was going to be difficult due to lack of space and cooking equipment. The TV has no English channels - not a problem for us but just something to be aware of.

The location was really good. Close to the cathedral and the station. Clean, light and airy apartment
Not enough toilet paper and broken floor tiles. Air con in one of the apartments not working. We had apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor so plenty of stairs

Excellent location, can walk to all the main attractions in Florence. It's a beautiful, spacious appartement with character.
Checking in was very easy, host was friendly and accommodating.
Small but very well equipped kitchen, covered all our needs for a bit of cooking during our three days there.
We'll definitely go there again if we visit Florence again.

The location was the best for us.
The walls were cracked. Under the AC, wall was dirty from water dripping from AC. Not enough cutlery for 4 guests. Dirty chairs and broken down chest of drawers. Overall the apartment looked a bit messy.

main bed was comfy.. the couch/bed.. not so...
surprising the only noise from the outside was the church bells... rarely heard the street noise at all...
the kitchen is really nice and a nice plus for long stays...
only issue was the 5 floors up to the room.. if you have lots of luggage/heavy luggage... lots of work...
heavy doors too..

big room, location in the city center close to tourist attractions, but also the train station
kitchen badly equipped, not very comfortable bed, construction work at the e neighbors would start at 8 am, very dark (not too many lights and windows were to an inside hallway)

spacious, location, two sleeping areas, close to transport, kitchen well equipped but no oven if you need
host unresponsive for hours, 3 flights of stairs (which weren’t mentioned) renovations woke us at 8am every day except Sunday, noise was unbearable, had to pay for second set of towels over 12 day stay , no cleaning products provided or cleaning , had argument over towels and didn’t hear from host again until our departure to organise keys, 6 out of 12 days one of us couldn’t have a hot shower .. due to renovations next door ??? possibly some of the time but definitely not always, had to open 4 huge big heavy doors before entering our own apartment, NO ONE HELPED WITH OUR BAGS DOWN THE 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS WHEN LEAVING , host was aware that one of us has mobility issues .. he was not helpful at all although he did carry them up for us .. before argument re towels 🤷♀️ what can I say ?? this is the first time after traveling around Italy for over 2 months that we’ve given a bad review

Spacious apartment in a great location.
it would be very helpful if the keys were labeled for the appropriate doors.

location
noisy. uncomfortable. No soundproofing on windows and walls so can hear everything happening on the street 24/7 (impossible to sleep) and renovations being done next door.
bed was cheap and uncomfortable, horrible linen and pillows. it’s clear this is just an income for the hosts and guests comfort isn’t considered at all. some small effort in bedding and soundproofing windows would change this.

Good location in historical building
Unfortunately it needs a handyman to go in and do a few jobs. I.e. the curtains and drapes are hanging off the rails and wall and because of the height of the ceiling it is impossible to put right without a ladder! Also the kitchen cupboard is hanging off the wall and some of the furniture has seen better days. I would also suggest that a T towel would be a great help and a clean sponge not the filthy one that was there. On the upside there was good plumbing with lots of hot water, clean sheets and towels. Good location but if possible book one of the front apartments with more light as this one is very dark.

The location is excellent. The room was very clean.
The property did not have a kettle. The room we received was much older and dated than the pictures shown on the website. Wifi was only available in the foyer of the room.

It's an excellent location for the train/bus station and for exploring the city. Only a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. It's also right beside the San Lorenzo market
There was 3 floors of stairs that we weren't aware of when booking and also no iron (we did notify the guy that met us but were told it should be in the cupboard and that was that so my husband had some wrinkled shirts). The utensils in the kitchen could be bit better

location
- first of all, when we arrived there wasn’t wifi during the first 3 hours
- we didn’t have proper tools to cook pasta, there wasn’t a saucepan (after a few hours it was provided to us, but lunch time had already passed)
- the second day we had a blackout, and we had jo electricity during 12 hours, all the food in the fridge was damaged, and after, some of the wall sockets stopped working
- the hairdryer didn’t work
- we weren’t provided with soap for the shower
- there wasn’t any scouring pad to clean the dishes

It is located right in the center of the city and you can walk everywhere.
They do not mention that it is on a 5th floor without an elevator. The wifi is very bad inside the apartment there is almost no signal

Excellent location, very central, clean, air conditioned
The host did not let us keep the luggage there after check out. I had sent a request beforehand via messages on booking.com but got no reply. When I asked on check in, he said that we could not keep them there and had to take the luggage to a luggage depository at a charge. If I knew beforehand I could have changed the booking to another hotel/apartment.
