About this villa rental
Nestled in the safest community in Rincon, our villa is just steps from your own private beach where you can swim and take in some of the most amazing sunsets! Grocery shopping, restaurants and stores are a quick ride into town where you will also find a local art walk on Thursday nights and town market on Sundays. The space Rincon is the sweetest place in the entire Caribbean! Take in the sunsets from our large and comfortably furnished 3rd floor patio, or spend it down on the beach next to the waves. This is our home away from home and we make sure to keep it cozy, clean and well stocked for all your family or small group's needs. Fits groups of 6 comfortably. Guest access You will have full access to the house, including outside shed containing beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. There is a gas grill on the garden patio are as well as a well equipped cooking setup in the kitchen. Fresh bed linens, towels and beach towels for your group. Guests can visit the basketball courts, tennis courts and community gym, however, extra fees apply and they are paid directly to the community at the club house. Group rates available. If you leave a message it will be returned in less than 4 hours. We are very close with our surrounding neighbors who can be super helpful and friendly! Please feel free to call me if you're looking for something to do or eat and want some suggestions, my family has been traveling to this part of the island for over 10 years! Other things to note Remember that these beaches and areas are full of surfers! Being a surfing community of beaches one must be aware of the sometime strong currents as there is no lifeguard on duty at the private beaches. During these times, if traveling with small children, when you approach the beach hang a left and there is small natural pool at the shore line. Water in this area is protected by reef and the current is mostly abated in the pool making it is safer for less experienced swimmers or small children

Our group of 6 loved our stay at this property. We met lots of great people from the community on our daily walks on the beautiful beach just a short walk from the house. The house was well stocked and even nicer than pictures on the listing.
Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the location is absolutely perfect. Lots of quick trips into Rincon for dinner, farmers market and art market, close to extraordinary snorkeling at Tres Palmas, a day at Crashboat, surfer watching at Domes, and the yummiest food at our favorites; Estela, Copa llena, English Rose and The beach House.
The owners were very responsive to questions and clearly love this house.

Our first time in Puerto Rico. Very comfortable stay. Enjoyed kitchen and family room, access to balconies, access to beach, laundry, grill, close to town. Great communication with owners, they recommended restaurants and beaches. Plenty of amenities and appreciated the beach chairs. Ricomini bakery was good. Thanks Tom and Lynette!

Only complaint was that there were days that no one at the guard shack showed up for work and we couldn't get on the property. Luckily someone broke the side gate probably because of this problem and we were able to drive around it.

When you walk into this home you can tell right away, this isn't some rental property. This is a much beloved home. We loved it too!
The house is tastefully decorated in a very comfortable way. The couches are something I would buy for my daily use. There are a lot of knickknacks and art pieces, so if you have small children be aware this is not a barren rental. It's a home.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and bonuses. The food is really good in Rincon, but sometimes it's just nice to sit down and eat a home cooked meal... or reheat the leftovers!
The bedrooms are comfortable with AC in each one. We had the AC die in one of the rooms and the owners were on it immediately. They had it serviced and replaced. I couldn't be happier with owner communications.
The neighborhood is as advertised. There is a community pool which we used and enjoyed. It could have used a cleaning but it's off season, so I suspect it doesn't get much use right now. We didn't use the other accommodations.
The gated entrance has it's pros and cons. You trade convenience for safety. The gate operator wasn't always timely. We always got in, but sometimes you had to wait. The drive back to the property is long. I'm talking a mile or so. That isn't a problem but it is worth noting.
The beach is very close and very nice. It was too strong a riptide for us to swim there. Some people did but they don't recommend it and I have to agree unless you are a surfer or great swimmer.

The property exceeded our expectations. Listed below are the key highlights:
1) The house was set back 1 mile from the main road and access was restricted with 24/7 security guard access. However, we were never concerned at all with our safety as the town of Rincon seemed very safe.
2) The house was very large, clean, and updated. All necessary amenities were provided and we felt right at home. The property owner was very responsive and gave excellent instructions making the check in and check out simple.
3) The property had a private beach that was very clean and had calm waters. The beach was easily accessible from the house and was maybe 100 yards walk. There were at most three other groups at the beach so it was not at all crowded like the public beaches.
4) The location was only a 10 minute drive to the center of Rincon where you can find a supermarket, restaurants, and shops.
5) The WiFi, TV, and air conditioning worked perfectly and made staying indoors very comfortable when the outside was very hot and humid.
6) There were several public beaches within 20 minutes of the property as well as Cascada Gozalandia waterfalls, which was a nice excursion for a short day trip.

Wonderful Location, Property, and Safety. Kitchen also well equity. After traveling around PR and staying in a number of urban locations, we really enjoyed the safe location where I could let my 15 year old daughter train for cross country.

Loved this private beach escape. The house was beautiful and so close to walk to the beach. The house rooftop patio was amazing to stargaze at night! Would definitely recommend a visit here!

Beautiful property in a great location, very close to great restaurants and beaches, but secluded at the same time. Perfect combination for a relaxing vacation where you get to set the pace. The communication with the host was outstanding, through messages or on the phone. The house has everything you need whether you choose to cook at home or eat out. We appreciate that the host made the check-in and checkout process as painless as possible. Plenty of room for the entire family.

Had a wonderful stay. Condo location is perfect - close to surfing with a gorgeous beach a few steps away. Owners were super responsive and helpful with a couple of minor hiccups. We would love to return to this property!

This was a fantastic place to stay! The owners were very responsive to answer my questions. The property was perfect. Nicely decorated. Incredible location. Great amenities. We absolutely loved it and will plan on revisiting it! You can't go wrong staying here.

Staying at Punta Del Mar is wonderful. It’s great to have the option of pool or beach. The kids loved playing basketball too. Gorgeous sunsets every night

We stayed in this villa 3 years ago and loved it so much decided to come back. Villa is amazing, neighbors very friendly and helpful. We especially love the beach just outside the villa. Walked on the beach everyday looking for sea glass. We cut open several coconuts and drank the water right from the coconut. The teens loved body surfing in the waves. Wish there were boogie boards. The kitchen has anything you could need and is quite spacious. The counter tops had been redone since we were there last. The pool was nice although we only went there once. The water in the ocean was so warm.Went to many local restaurants and beaches. Great vacation! Hope to visit again

I have never left a review in my life but feel inclined to on this property since I was skeptical about the whole process this far from home. If you are looking for a place to get away, relax and slow down this is the place. The house and villa are much nicer than the pictures and are well worth the money. The bedrooms are plenty spacious as are the rest of the living spaces. The upper patio on the roof is a great space. The beach and ocean are just a few steps away where you can relax under the shade of palm trees. I would recommend buying food at the grocery store and cooking all your own meals as we struggled to find restaurants that were worth eating at but the house is well equipped for cooking. Overall this property exceeded my expectations.

Awesome location
Beautiful home at the perfect location. So many amenities and steps to the beach for a morning coffee or sunset stroll. Close to Aguadilla and Rincon and multiple beaches. Home was clean and well stocked. Would book again.

Lovely family home
This is our second time staying at the property and looking forward for more! The house is super clean and confortable. Beach at the end of the clusters was great and safe for my 8 year old son. The kitchen was recently renovated, spacious and neatly organized. Everything was great! Tom and Linnette were available super quickly to answer all our requests. The neighborhood is super quiet and friendly. We loved it!

Slice of Paradise
We loved staying at Punta del Mar. The property was so very well appointed with the conveniences of home, making our stay very comfortable. We loved making coffee in the morning and walking to the beach. By the time my coffee cup was empty I had collected enough sea glass to fill it back up. There are great restaurants within walking distance. The private beach is really really special and there’s a world-class swimming beach just a short walk up the shoreline. It was not busy at all - we only saw a few other families in our time there. Everyone was so kind. We hope to return next year.

It was great to have the use of the beach chairs and towels that the hosts provided. We had booked a fishing trip and the fully stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy cooking our catch. Our youngest loved using the inflatable tube in the surf. We would definitely rebook here!

The Villa is situated steps from a beautiful private beach and wonderful sunsets.
The hostess was great. The property was a little tricky to find at nite. The Villa was well stocked and couldn’t be better situated. Close to other local beaches, great bakeries and town square. Friendly neighbors and amazing property. Hot water was sparse on second floor and beds a little firm but otherwise a perfect location and getaway. Super private!

It was awesome...The house with all amenities available to feel like home ..but with vacation vibe...the beach was nice and the area that was like a beach pool...was amazing...and we went to town and ate at great restaurants and saw the sunset too ....I recommend all to take a break and come down to Rincon....Thank you Kira and Thomas.......❣️✅

great place to stay
this property was everything it said it was. The villa was beautiful.There were plenty of dishes, pantry items, beach towels, beach chairs & snorkel gear. The beach just outside the villa was spectacular. We walked the beach every day to look for sea glass. The beach went on forever with no other properties on it. The washer & dryer were a big plus. We had a party of 6 so we even used the 3rd floor bedroom. We ate a couple of dinners up on the rooftop table, which was very nice since it was still warm even in the evenings. Kiera was easy to work with. We had trouble opening the lock box the first night and she answered & solved the problem right away. It was fun to watch the surfers in the mornings & my son caught a few fish right outside our villa. The only issues we had were the lack of water pressure and hot water in the kitchen. With no water pressure we were unable to use the dishwasher & had to wash the dishes by hand with luke warm water. Having said that I would definately stay here again. It was beautiful and very quiet and peaceful.

What an amazing trip, and the house was perfect and just what we had hoped for! We dealt with Kira, who was very helpful and informative and super fast to respond to questions. The house is really nicely done and really has everything you would need for a family vacation. It even came with some very friendly neighbors too!! Thanks Kira...a truly fantastic anniversary break

Puerto Rico 2019
Overall the experience was a good one. Kiara was great about responding to questions and gave me lots of ideas to eat and for activities. The property had air conditioning in every bedroom which was amazing! There was even a humidifier which is needed in PR in July.
The security in the property was great and the staff was friendly. Since there was security we had to meet our family outside the property which made meeting up a little difficult. Next time I would want to see if there are other townhouses available so family could be close enough but have there own place. The private beach was very clean and having chairs to use was a plus! The only issue I had which I did not tell Kiara about since it was not urgent was that the we rarely had hot water in the master shower and the pillows were very old and flat.

Nice quiet location by the beach. What more could you ask for? The accommodations were great. From beach towels to kitchen utensils, most were available. The washer and dryer is a nice touch so that I didn't need to pack heavy. I would recommend this location if you're looking for a quiet place without the distractions of a big city.

Steps from a beautiful beach
Well appointed and all amenities included. We really enjoyed our week with 3 teenagers able to walk out the door to the beach. Lovely and comfortable house. Problem with AC quickly and efficiently solved by owner. We hope to return!
