Family or adult get-away fun! 3,500 square foot log cottage on breathtaking Lake Alice. The cottage houses 4 bedrooms, furnished with 3 twin beds and 6 queen beds total for a 15 person maximum occupancy. The cottage also has 3 bathrooms, main floor laundry, an open-concept kitchen with full size appliances, a large kitchen table, a breakfast bar and seating area by fireplace. The spacious home also houses a huge family room on lower level with walk out, the perfect location for family gatherings. The Cove puts you right where you want to be. The location is perfect for all four seasons. Lake Alice, a 1,438 acre lake, has great fishing including Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern pike and Walleye. During the sunny days of summer, enjoy waterskiing, tubing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, ATV riding, or going for a relaxing pontoon boat ride around the lake. Tomahawk is also home to the annual Color Run (or "Fall Ride"), an attraction that brings in hundreds of people to come enjoy the changing colors of fall, the local attractions of the Tomahawk, or to experience the charm of the northwoods. In the winter months, enjoy snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ATV riding, or down hill skiing at near by Granite Peak ski hill. This fully furnished and freshly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home offers you the comfort and amenities that will make your stay a pleasure as you unwind from the day's fun. Perfect for families and groups on a get-away with a central location of just 2 hours from Green Bay, 2 1/2 hours from Madison, 3 1/2 hours from Milwaukee, and 3 1/2 hours from Minneapolis, MN. A camera is above the garage and clearly visible all year round. This is used to notify owner/staff that guests have arrived or left. It also shows when the garbage is picked up and any possible trespassers when the home is not being rented. You may find a very visible camera typically during off peak periods in the kitchen by the sink. If you do please just unplug it and set in a drawer. The home is unoccupied sometimes for several weeks and this helps keep an eye on any issues. The cleaning staff will put the camera back up after you leave. Thank you for your understanding.

The cabin was beautiful and worked out wonderful for our large family. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and utensils. It was great having a second fridge in the garage. We loved all of the trees and wild life. We saw many loons, toads, bald eagles, deer and wild turkey. Several in our group went fishing and everyone caught something. The trophy of the trip was a 31” northern pike. Many great memories and lots of fun.

Our family of 9 adults and one tween enjoyed our stay--the accommodations were spacious, kitchen well stocked, the extra refrigerator a bonus. We had wonderful weather and the grounds and the lake were great for yard games and swimming. The sand beach was especially appreciated along with the frog residents along the shore. We would consider staying there again. One small glitch was the follow through on information sent to us for entrance. Garage door was not opened as promised and we had neither a contact phone number or garage code. A kind neighbor and our adult children enroute solved the problem. I would suggest both be included in the email with directions and address. This would be more in sync with our previous VRBO rentals. All was well after that issue was solved.

Our only complaint is that the basement in freezing while the main floor is at thermostat temperature and the upstairs is sweltering. There are thermostats on each level but the basement and upstairs are disabled. We were not able to keep people sleeping on each floor comfortable.

Clean, easy to check in, plenty of beds and space to spread out. Basement is huge, along with its full bathroom was a very nice surprise. View incredible.

This was our third year in a row renting this property for our family snowmobile weekend! The house is great and has enough rooms and beds to suit our needs with seven adults and five children. Easy access to the lake from the driveway to enjoy snowmobiling right on the lake or link up with a trail.

Thanks for another great year at Lake Alice. We really appreciated the additional sand that was brought onto the beach and chairs on the deck. Our only complaint is that the beams in the living room were very dusty; they "snowed" down on us anytime the wind blew.

Perfect family vacation
Our family,including our children and grandchildren, thoroughly enjoyed the house on Lake Alice. Facilities were excellent and well stocked. The full service grocery store a few miles away was an added bonus. It was clean and organized. Our only suggestion would be to have maybe a pool table, ping-pong table or related entertainment item in the basement if possible for use during inclement weather. A nice diversion. But nothing takes away from our wonderful experience in Tomahawk!

Spacious!
This is our second stay at this beautiful property! It is terrific for our family Snowmobile Weekend with plenty of space for everyone!! The access to the lake and trails for our group is outstanding.
The reason I was unable to give 5 stars was because of lack of communication with the property manager during our stay. I shared this with Dale after the weekend and he assured me he would look into it, which I was thankful for. However, the zero communication for a day and a half was a real part of our experience for this particular stay. That being said, we will definitely stay here again! Already looking forward to next year!

The property is beautiful and totally met the needs of all 14 of us. Dale is great…very patient with all my questions! We hope to return. Our granddaughter wants to come back for her birthday on July 28th! Unfortunately I don’t think that’s possible!

The property is beautiful and totally met the needs of all 14 of us. Dale is great…very patient with all my questions! We hope to return. Crafting weekend!
Everything was wonderful! The only things I noticed were no clocks or lamps. It was not clear on what was provided. Make sure you take your own kitchen towels, firewood, large garbage bags and soap. The heat was inconsistent throughout until the last night that we were there. One room would be 85° in the next room was 60. It says that Internet is provided however it is very very limited. We had a lot of things that needed Internet connection and we’re unable to use. Overall though it was a great weekend!

A New Favorite!
Our family (group of 11) gets away every year for our annual snowmobile weekend -- this was our tenth year! We've rented another place on Lake Alice for several years but it was not available this time and as it turns out we are so thankful! This place is even more suited to our needs! It is spacious to accommodate a large group, has wonderfully comfortable beds and a big dining room table. The driveway and property easily accommodates a 4-place trailer (which my husband was thrilled about) and there was easy access to get snowmobiles to the lake. Though the trails weren't open we had a blast just riding around on the lake! Would recommend!!

BEAUTIFUL LAKE FRON HOME
Such a peaceful and beautiful house!! Beautiful lake view , winter wonderland. Perfect for families with small children. House was very roomy with not to many decorations around which was so nice not to worry about kids getting hurt or breaking something. Just a perfect home for families looking to relax, and if you get lucky to have some snow its perfect for sledding (there is a hill in the back and the kids loooveedd it)

Overall the cabin was nice, the lake is beautiful, but the fishing was tough on Alice, it sounded like the bite was rough all around in the area. Overall the stay was enjoyable for all.A few things to note even with the cabin being nice and all, we still had some issues. The overall cleanliness of the cabin was fair. We had the doors open on one of the nice days and the breeze off the lake knocked down tons of dust that was in the exposed beams. Normally a small issue but we were cooking at the time and the dust got into the meal as we were prepping it. Also, lots of dead mosquitoes in the house when we arrived. Not a huge deal but you expect the dust in the exposed beams, the dead mosquitoes to be cleaned up when you arrive and for the price of this place. Just my two cents but it should be spotless, after all you are paying a cleaning fee, which should be to have the house spotless for the next guests. The deck and the fire pit also had some issues. The deck railing right before the stairs is loose and could become detached fairly easily. It is in need of repairs and is a hazard for all but specifically children. The fire pit had lots of broken glass in and around it. We cleaned up the glass around it but ended up not using the fire pit because of the issue. There was no propane for the gas grill. We called and the issue got fixed ASAP but just one other small thing.The pontoon. Well let’s just say this was the least favorite part for us. The pontoon had dirty diapers on it, lots of mold on the seats and carpet and was low on gas. Just an overall disappointment considering we paid extra for this and no one wanted to use it due to these factors. As I stated above the cabin is nice but we had some issue on our stay and for the price expected more. If you book expect to have some of these issues. Wish we could give it a better review but these things downgrade the overall experience.

Our Perfect Getaway
Our 3rd stay at the cabin was as great as all the others. Communication with Dale and Stacy was easy and they responded to our small issues right away. We love the beach, the yard, and the house!

Great Place to stay
We have a wonderful family week. Had to keep a close eye on the almost two year olds, but who doesn't. The pontoon was a great addition to the week.
