We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The location of the house was perfect - short walk/drive to the Village, and tucked away along a beautiful mountain side. My kids were fortunate to experience their first snowfall and were able to a fulfill a long awaited wish to have a snow day filled with sledding (which would not have been possible without the 2 sleds that were provided so kindly by the owners), snowball fights, making snowmen and snow angels in the snow. The house honestly felt like home to us and it had everything and more than you could want! Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We hope to come back soon!

Let me first start off by saying location is everything, 5min drive behind the village but still far enough nestled in the mountains. We stayed with 3 kids, ages 14, 11 and 7, there was something to do for each one of them. Hiking the trails that are literally located in the back yard and up the street from the home. Climb up far enough and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Big Bear Lake and the Breathtaking views of GODs green earth! Jacuzzi to help sooth your muscles that were used to climb the mountains. Video game (Ms. PAC-Man and others) that us adults and children played while waiting for dinner. Enjoy quietness and the chirping of the birds while you eat outside on the deck located from the kitchen. Perfect size kitchen for someone you loves to cook, with utensils and cookware you need! Bring cooking oil and spices. Stater bros, Vons, and Dollar Tree are a 10 min drive. The bedrooms and living room have flat screen TVs. For a mom of 3, it’s a plus to have a washer and dryer located inside the house. The owner makes sure to let you know ahead of time if you are having any kind of issues to just reach out to him and he will send someone to be there right away to assist! So there is no reason not to reach out if you are in need of assistance! The home looks like a 2 story house but looks are deceiving because everything from the kitchen, living room, laundry, master bedroom and the other 2 rooms are located on the same floor which is great for a mother that needs her children close by. Not sure if we even had next door neighbors because we didn’t see them at all during our stay! We did say hello to our front neighbors which were really nice! I would most definitely stay in the beautiful home again!

Great Spot near Village
Beautiful cabin near Big Bear Village. Three nice bedrooms with awesome jacuzzi right off the master bedroom. Very clean, nice bathrooms. Good living room with dining table. Gas fireplace was great and easy. Whole house had TVs in each room with Roku. Super fun table-top video games with Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig-Dug. Good spot just up the hill. Probably walkable to village .without a snow storm, and road was a little treacherous. Right next to an open space with a sledding hill and little hiking trail. Short drive to Snow Summit. Mario was the best - answered every call, helped up down the mountain during a snowstorm. Overall it was perfect for our family of four including two teenagers. Highly recommend.

Quaint cabin
We had a great stay. Everything was orderly placed, easy to find.
Everything worked well with instructions readily available in the kitchen. We encountered ants and of course mosquitoes but know it's normal dur to mountains , we didn't mind, we were prepared.
There were extra blankets and pillows in closets for use. Kitchen was well stocked with almost everything, you do have to take your items, like oil , seasonings, foil, etc.
We took extra trash bags and napkins. Bar-b-q was great for our big dinners.
Did have to call Mario at one moment and he answered quickly, he was great with communication.
Looking forward going again.
Thank you!

Great place~!! I will stay here again for sure.
Our stay was fantastic and the property is lovely & exactly as described, however ~ each night we witnessed the homeowner directly across the street feeding wild coyotes at dusk. This seems reckless and dangerous and we (renters) reported this to the city of Big Bear. The pack was never less than 3 large animals and occasionally 6. This property should never be considered "safe" for animals outdoors at any time.

Great weekend stay!!
Check-in was a breeze and the house was clean, warm and inviting. We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the sledding area just a few short blocks away (5 minute walk). Excellent location!!

We rented this cabin for my husband's 60th birthday and for our anniversary. We had a very nice time. This cabin is in a great location, close enough to the village, yet far away enough where you don't hear the noise. It backs to hiking trails which was very nice. The owner of this cabin is very communicative and makes sure that everything is well taken care of. This cabin is simple and everything was easy to figure out. Our dogs also had a great time!

Great Location
We had a wonderful time in Big Bear. The cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean and comfortable. The cabin was only a few yards away from some amazing sled runs for my kids. We walked up the street to sled for hours then home for lunch before heading out again. We will definately stay here again

Great cabin, great location
High-quality lodgings in excellent location. Walk out the back door for hiking trails, or out the front door for a 10-minute walk to the village. Hot tub was well maintained and property was clean and well-labeled with signs/instructions for guest use. I would definitely come here again.

Clean and perfect
We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed for a successful trip. We had our 2 children and dog. The kids loved their bedroom. The jacuzzi was a hit as well. The house was clean and the yard was fun for the kids to explore and also plenty of room to ride their bikes

Cabin is nice but needs some repairs.
We had a nice time, but we wish the owner would fix the squaky floor in the
hall and first bedroom.

Disappointing
The cabin looked so clean in the pics on vrbo. I think the cleaning crew took the day off on our visit. Very unfortunate and i had to run to vons and get cleaning supplies. Washed all the mats. Cleaned the kitchen counters and cabinets. Hairs on the bathroom floor and toilet. Had to Lysol that and the walls that had brown stains and toothpaste. There was a pillow in the kids room that had white stains all over it. Trying not to think about what caused that. The kids bed are squeaky and hard and i chose to sleep on the couch w my little. The carpet is foul and needs professional cleaning as soon as possible. The pluses are the location and the showers were clean. The cabin is right by a sledding area. Had so much fun that if they cleaned the cabin up i could consider staying again. Also 15 min walk to the village which had every restaurant you could think off.

Cozy and Quiet cabin
Tucked up at the top of the hill above the town in a very quiet neighborhood, this cabin was perfect for our stay here in Big Bear Lake. We loved the jacuzzi hot tub which was just outside the master bedroom sliding door. The cabin backs up to a hiking trail that leads you higher up the mountain overlooking the lake. We felt as if were in a remote location in the wilderness yet it is only about a half mile up the hill from the main town stores and restaurants. Our stay was very comfortable. The only negative thing that I would like to mention is that the master king bed mattress is too firm and not all that comfortable. I would recommend to the Owner that a soft mattress topper be provided to go over the top of the existing mattress which would make the bed softer and more comfortable like the ones you find at a luxury hotel. Because of that, I give this a 4.8 out of 5.0.

Perfect for a family or a group of adults
This property was even more well suited for our family than our own home! Every detail is accounted for and my husband and I remarked more than once about how we want to bookmark this spot as our go to snow play home base. With 2 young children having plenty of space inside for warm, dry play and being able to use the yard and extension into the forest with the bathrooms and kitchen close at hand make the easiest, fun filled vacation possible. Grateful for the experience!
