Perfect for extended families, this home is a comfortable and spacious lodge located in the Highlands subdivision just 2 miles (5 minutes) north of downtown Breckenridge and the Ski Area. As you enter this beautiful home, you are greeted by the large living room with hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings with large wooden beams. The living room features comfortable seating, a Colorado river rock gas fireplace, and a wall of windows facing West on to an expansive deck with an outdoor 4 burner gas grill and furniture. The deck will be your new favorite spot - grill and gaze at the mountains! The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features granite counter tops, double ovens, microwave and an 8-burner gas grill top. Three sinks and two dishwashers can handle the load of your extended family. The dining room features a round table seating 8 (great for games) and a two level bar with seating for 6 more makes this a great home for the whole family. There is an additional small table that will seat 4. A separate sun room with fireplace is stocked with paperback books for those in your group that want to escape and enjoy the view - take a book/leave a book! The gas fireplace will keep you cozy while you read or watch TV. Free Wi-Fi is available through-out the home. Located in the Highlands neighborhood north of Breckenridge, this is the perfect place to get away from it all while still being close to all that Breckenridge and Summit County have to offer. The flume trail system is right out the back door for access to endless hiking and biking trails. ANIMALS are not allowed as owner is highly allergic. Absolutely NO SMOKING or Vaping anywhere on the property - the home is in a forest that has a severe dry season for 8 months of the year - so no smoking or vaping outside, either. This must be completed and returned along with a copy of the primary renter's drivers license within 48 hours to complete the booking. Our recent stay at the North’s home was a wonderful experience for our family. The home was exceptionally clean and furnished with all the amenities of our own home. The house is just as amazing in person as it appears online! The rooms are large with amazing views from each one. The owner was prompt and clear in her communication.
We were traveling with friends and kids and she went out of her way to leave toys/games out for us and give us details on all the fun things to do with little ones in the areas.

This house was absolutely amazing. As soon as I booked, Beth was there to help with anything. We spoke on several occasions before my trip and she was there to offer advice for what to do when visiting a new place. If I am ever in Breckenridge again I will definitely be staying again!

Pictures Don't Do It Justice
Look no further for the best house in Breckenridge. Closely located to downtown and the ski slopes! Beth was a dream to work with. This is her families home for a lot of the year, so I dare you to find one thing that you need that isn't provided. They have thought of EVERYTHING! I will say that you do need to make sure you have a 4-wheel drive because the driveway is very steep and would be difficult to get in and out of with lots of snow and ice if you don't have one. Enjoy all Breckenridge has to offer while staying at this dream home!

Great Home
Stayed for a full week. We were a family group. Grandparents, adult children and spouses as well as young grandchildren. Beautiful home. Plenty of room for everyone. Well stocked kitchen and laundry rooms. Everything we needed was at hand. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunset from the large deck as well as the patio below. Lots of toys for the kids. We cooked and grilled most evenings rather than going into town. Enjoyed the horse shoe pits as well as the cornhole game boards. Met or exceeded every expectation any of us had. We would book it again for another family vacation.

Best Vacation Ever
The house was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need and more. The property owner went beyond what you would expect to make our vacation unforgettable. As soon as we booked the property the communication was impeccable! She eliminated the guesswork and any wasted time by providing a Manuel that would answer any question a visitor may have. There is no way anyone could give this whole experience less than a 5- star rating. Every year we take a big family vacation and this without a doubt was the most stress free and enjoyable because the owner Beth had everything so well organized. When we were leaving our whole family was in agreement we definitely want to visit this property again!

Amazing house, gorgeous views, fun place!
We absolutely loved our time at the Alpine Vista Lodge! It was the perfect place for our group of 9 to stay while spending a long weekend snowboarding in Breckenridge. The proximity to the slopes, incredible views, and the spaciousness of the home made for a wonderful visit. We loved using the well-appointed kitchen to cook food for dinner each night. The hot tub and cozy bathrobes were an added bonus after a day out in the cold. You can't beat the mountain views from the large picture windows in both the living room and dining room. The fireplaces were amazing, and we loved hanging out in the living room (playing with the provided puzzles and games!). Each room has its own temperature control and humidifier, which made for a restful night of sleep. We look forward to returning soon!

We had a wonderful Family get together here. The house has so much space for everyone to spread out or spend time together in one room! The views are beautiful and the house is really just a few minutes from Main Street Breckenridge. Absolutely perfect.

First Time in CO
This was our first time in Colorado and we brought the whole family along. The house was amazing and absolutely perfect for our family. The toddler in the group enjoyed playing with the toys and our 10 year old son had a hard time choosing which games to play. The backyard was the perfect spot to have a family snow ball fight. I love all of the little details the owners have thought of to include details on exactly what drawers and cabinets contain what items in the kitchen. We’re already talking about coming back next year. Thank you so much to Beth for being so easily accessible before and during our stay!

The property is stunning and the view is gorgeous!! We had 13 people, 8 adults and 5 kids, with plenty of room not only for everyone to sleep but to spread out and have privacy when needed!!
As on owner, Beth was super responsive to questions that we had--I don't think I ever waited more than an hour for an answer even before our rental time!
Also, Beth has an agreement with Jake's Shuttle service which was an amazing perk for us to have!!! It got 13 people to and from town without having to take multiple vehicles and deal with parking 🚌

Alpine Vista Lodge is a unique property offering a wonderful combination of setting, design and furnishing to provide an extended family a high level of accommodation in a very comfortable and family friendly atmosphere. With its four master suites plus bunk room, two family large screenTV eqipped sitting rooms, easy dining for 12, large living room with fireplace open to the dining area and kitchen, and two large outside decks with grill, this unique home is designed to support great family vacations. Beth & Dan have equipped their home with a special “intentional hospitality”. From lovely furnishings to plentiful Kcups, to 3 sinks and disposals in the huge kitchen equipped with every tool you could ever want, to extra propane for the grill, great thought has been given to making the guests feel “at home”. We made great memories with our nine member family and look forward to returning.

The views off of the back patios are awesome - you can see in to the town...and have a perfect view of the mountains. The house has everything you need and more! Perfect for families with kids!

We’ve stayed in lots of beautiful CO homes over the past 16 years but Beth and Dan’s home is our favorite. It’s a gorgeous place with beautiful mountain views and every amenity provided. If I had to pick a home in CO to buy, this would be the one.
Owner Beth was very helpful and made the reservation and check-in process easy. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful home and a wonderful hostess
We went to Breckinridge with a group of women to celebrate a 40th birthday. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful the house was. The kitchen is huge and we cooked a great dinner there one night (no rolling pin - one of the girls always brings her own because nowhere ever has them lol). There was plenty of room for all 10 of us, and it never felt crowded. The hot tub was amazing, especially one night when it snowed. Super clean as well! Just a bit outside breckenridge but Beth provided us with shuttle coupons so we had 3 free round trips into town. Pro tip: the Broken Compass Brewery will give you a shuttle ride back to the house for $10. Cheaper than uber.
Not only was the home amazing, but Beth was a wonderful hostess. She was in communication with me from booking to checkout, and was flexible when I had a death in the family and thought I might have to cancel. She even sent me a sympathy card.
This is where you want to stay guys - and we had some VERY picky ladies with us but everyone was very happy with our choice.

Lovely home with all the amenities you can imagine!
The home of Beth and Dan North is stunning with its views and also its decor. Our family gathering was complete with a gourmet stocked kitchen and family dinners seating up to 12 persons and cozy but large family room. The bedrooms each with king size beds and baths were perfect along with another room for more guests! The outdoor deck with grill and patio with hot tub make it the best setting and view of the mountains imaginable! Beth was amazing in her responses to questions but also with suggestions and her "heads up" that we may see moose, and we did!! We couldn't have been happier with the home of the Norths and hope to come back again!! Thank you Beth and Dan!

Beautiful home!
Alpine Vista Lodge is a beautiful home perfect for a family or for couples. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for everyone to never feel crowded. The home is furnished perfectly and has a well stocked spacious kitchen. The outdoor area is fabulous with a hot tub, two lovely sitting areas and a wonderful view. You can access a couple of hiking trails directly from the house. The neighborhood is also perfect for walking.
The Highlands is a lovely, upscale neighborhood that is located just a short drive from Main St.
we have rented several vacation homes but this was the nicest of any. I highly recommend this home!!

Awesome property overlooking Breckenridge!
We just returned from a week in the mountains at this amazing property. This house was the ideal setting for our large family getaway ( ages ranged from 13 to 77 ). The house had everything we needed and more. The two outdoor decks with breathtaking views of the mountains were our favorite places to gather. The well stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals at home which we preferred to dining out in Breckenridge. The owners were readily available for any questions and could not have been nicer. Wonderful experience!
