Forgotten items are only steps away when you are just 3 homes from the turquoise waters and sugar white sands. A perfect family retreat nestled between the gorgeous white sands and the upscale shopping center of Destin Commons that also features kid-friendly fountains and water play. You can retreat to the privacy of the beautiful neighborhood or get out and satisfy everyone's desires with unlimited fun...centrally located just minutes to shopping, all your favorite restaurants, water parks, miniature golf, and more family fun. All the comforts of home await you. The main floor features a large eat-in kitchen, a family room with 50''plasma TV, comfy seating and a pub table, a master suite with king bed & flat screen TV/dvd and second bedroom with queen bed & TV/dvd. Climb the circular staircase to the bunkroom (double bed) and then the tower loft (twin over full & twin trundle underneath) with gorgeous 360 degree views of the gulf and Destin area. This is so close to the beach! Totally enjoyed have seats available for us on the shore line. Plenty of room. The neighborhood was picture perfect.

My son and I stayed here with my best friend and her family and we had an amazing time. The place was comfortable and accommodating. It had everything you need for the beach available to use and allowed us not to pack as much. The location couldn’t have been better as it was only one block away and right across the street from the beach access. We also had access to an umbrella and 2 chairs from the beach service. Walmart was only a mile and a half away and it was super close to multiple shopping areas. A great little gem of a place.

Overall a wonderful experience— a few minor things in need of repair, closet doors and dresser knobs. The only major thing would be the outdoor shower was not working and it would have been very nice to have! But the home was nice and the location was perfect! The family had a great time!

Location of the property was great—very close to beach. My friends and I drove down from North Carolina to spend spring break here. Nice fire pit in the backyard and overall a great experience. Would recommend to spring breakers or any family looking for a trip to a beautiful location.

Cleaning crew should be fired. They are stealing the owners money. Staying Dec 17th 2022 was in the 30s & 40s the windows & doors needed upgraded badly. Water heater could not handle 4 adults 2 children so when planing to stay here make sure you plan for 2 bedrooms 2 bath that’s it. The upstairs is considered ok for kids. If it was 80 plus degrees no way a child could last upstairs. My personal opinion it’s not worth 4000.00 but not sure who sets the price. My first time renting in Destin and will probably be my last. I left Ohio for better weather not close to the same we decided to leave a week early. If we are going to sit in house and watch tv I can do that in my own warm living room.

Nice amenities included for beach. Fire pit and relaxing back yard space. Communication with David was easy and small issues were resolved quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Property needs maintenance work on the inside and outside. The carpet is old an dirty, the bed linens smelled, the outside porches need boards replaced. You could tell people who smoked stayed there because of the smell of the house.

This isn’t accessible to the beach because it’s access is between. 2 condos. Todd (the rod) is a beach boy that harassed me and mine from less than 20 seconds from hitting the beach that was reclaimed by tax money, yet he yelled at the top of his lungs… get off my property. We were located less than 10 ft from the shore break. It was a sad paradigm of how humans have tried to claim the earth

Overall stay was great. More toilet paper for our family size would have been nice. More sheets and bed covers would have been helpful.

Nice property, easy to access, close to beach. We had some issues with the property but were able to work them out on our own. We would stay again providing the issues we encountered are addressed.

We had a bachelorette trip to the beach it was the perfect location for beach access and just a short drive to nightlife the owner was very easy to communicate with the house was perfect accommodations were great

We had an awesome stay and trip would definitely stay there again. The trip to the beach was really easy. The only issue is the condo owners on the beach are a pain to deal with but you can work around it.

What loved most was the cleanliness of this property. It was so close to the beach, my daughter and her friends loved it. I really appreciated David, he was so informative and quick to to respond if I needed anything. Thanks David. We will be back!! See you soon.

The location of the house couldn’t be any better. Walking distance to both the beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for 10 guests. The kitchen has every appliance you could need. Fire pit with firewood in the back as well.

It is a very nice place everything was so nice and pretty. The house was large and would be a very good place to take a family. Only a couple of minutes from a beach. Close shopping and grocery stores are within minutes. I will be looking forward to returning to Destin in the future.

The location was amazing! You are close to great restaurants, loved Pazzo Italiano and Pompano Joes and Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner was very good at 790 Coastal! The crystal clear ocean and powdery sand reminded me of Turks and Caicos! We traveled with our 9 and 12-year-old, my brother and his wife, and my husband, mother-in-law, myself, and our Boxer! The house is cozy, we had plenty of room to feel comfortable and we had all we needed to make meals (we ate breakfast in every day)! It was chilly, but we made the most of it and went in the ocean when it was 66 degrees outside, but the sun is intense and it was enjoyable. We enjoyed our walks on the scenic highway. Our host was gracious and prompt with communication from intro to check-out. We look forward to returning when it's warmer!

Great location with easy access to the beach. Nice backyard although too warm for us to use the fire pit. Upper beds accessible via a spiral staircase which may prove difficult for some but we loved it. Wish the bathrooms had been a tad bit larger but we made do!

We had a great week staying at the Barracuda House. The location is great and a very short walk to the beach access. Plenty of room to stretch out in the house in the evening. Also had a lot of relaxation on the front porch in the rocking chairs.
