About this cottage rental
Nestled in Lake Wylie, this lovely cottage for R 4,450 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our cozy cottage is welcoming and perfect for a lakefront experience! You will love hanging out on our private beach under the River Birch, while enjoying lavish sunsets. Reserve our pontoon boat to explore the beauty of Lake Wylie. The boat will be delivered to your dock on the evening before or morning of your booking and picked up when it is time to go. Check for owners specials from time to time. You will love the beach! It is perfect for the kids to run around and play in the sand while you watch from the patio or dock. The "bay" offers a safe swimming environment, being indented into the shoreline, feel comfortable and confident that your loved ones are safe from boat traffic. You will have access to a canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board to launch out on an adventure from the beach. It also has a great fire pit, perfect for stories and marsh mellow roasting. Home description: Entering the cottage, you will see a beautiful view of the Lake through the front wall which is 80% glass. The very open floor plan offers wonderful interactions with guest while cooking in the kitchen. The living room features a large flat screen TV as well as a pull out couch. After taking in the view, you’ll notice the elegantly crafted wooden interior of our new, fully renovated home. On this level you will find the second bedroom with a queen bed facing a picturesque view of the lake. This bedroom has a large private bathroom with a walk-in tile shower and marble floors. Walk out onto the deck for a gorgeous broad view of Lake Wylie as well as our private beach, lawn and dock. Continue downstairs to enjoy yet another beautiful wide view of the lake through the many windows. Here you will find another living area great for relaxing in front of the large flat screen TV or reading a book in front of the wood burning fireplace. Also on this floor is the master bathroom with a beautiful travertine shower, large closet with a new top-of-the-line washer dryer. The master bedroom is located on this level with a king sized bed, walk-in closet and a fabulous view of the lake. Walk outside on this level to the downstairs patio - a perfect place to wind-down and enjoy a refreshing drink or simply see the beauty of the lake. You will build many fond memories and always be welcome at our cottage!

We loved our long Thanksgiving break stay on Lake Wylie. The house was amazing and perfect for our family of 5 - us (the parents), 2 teenagers, and grandma. In addition, it was the perfect place for all of our extended family to come for dinner/game night/football watching/boat rides who were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday to give my sister in law who was hosting the big Thanksgiving Dinner in Fort Mill a break from the crowds. Beautiful weekend, beautiful lake, beautiful home and we hope to be able to rent it again next year for Thanksgiving.

If you are looking for a comfortable, cozy lake house - this is just that. Completely accurate property description and photos. Clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Working fireplace, comfortable couches and beds. Comfy blankets. Perfect location with a sandy beach right on the lake. Private and quiet. Georgia, our host, always answered promptly and was very easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great experience from initial contact, to our stay, to checking out. Georgia was very friendly and answered all of our question when we first asked about booking. The property itself was wonderful. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and the drive was pretty easy. It was private enough but close to restaurants and grocery stores. About a 20 min drive to Carowinds which we did over the weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We only used the master bedroom downstairs and the bed was comfortable. The view out to the lake from the house was beautiful from both floors. We enjoyed some fishing from the dock, caught a bunch of catfish and mangrove snapper. There’s a nice beach area that had a fire pit (wood was provided ) a hammock, and a bunch of canoes and kayaks (we didn’t use them but they had plenty). We liked the convenience of a washer and dryer so we could do laundry before we left. There was a nice grassy area in front of the house and in the back for our dogs to run around and play (not fenced in). Neighborhood is quiet and even the neighbors next door were pretty quiet. This was a nice play to relax and enjoy a much needed stress free long weekend. If we visit NC again we will definitely look to stay here

We stayed at the property for 4 nights while visiting family that lives in the area. The cottage is exactly as advertised. 2 floors of great living space with huge decks for sitting out and enjoying the lake views. Not fancy but cleaned and well-maintained. Excellent sandy beach with a small swimming area. An unexpected bonus was that there is a sidewalk through the woods and surrounding area that provides an excellent walking path of a few miles.
This is an excellent space for 2 couples or a family of 6-8 people.

The home and make access is perfect for a relaxing get away, the house has 2 bedrooms / bathrooms and 2 living rooms. It is perfect for friends or 2 couples , plenty of privacy and area to gather. We spent the day on the dock abs floating in the cove, so peaceful and pretty.
Kitchen is very well stocked and you are super close to anything you would need but you feel you are far away from the hustle and bustle.
Georgia was so helpful and kind, it was easy communication and you felt very welcome.
We will be staying on one of the lake places again!

My wife, daughter, and I needed a place to get out for a week while our house was being worked on - and man we loved this place! The house is in great shape, has an amazing balcony to view the lake off of, and the beach area was great for our 16mo daughter. Hosts were great and had excellent communication. We'll be renting again!

We had a lovely Mother's Day weekend with our family. The kids loved swimming on the beach, the boat rental, and flipping off the dock. Dinners and morning Matcha on the porch overlooking the lake were beautiful. The location is excellent. Close to town but it feels like you are away from it all. We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Wylie! We liked the layout and decor of the house and took advantage of all the amenities, especially the canoe and dock. My son caught a 24-inch catfish and a 15-inch large mouth bass which totally made the trip for him! Great location on a beautiful lake. We also appreciated the labels on the light switch plates, excellent water pressure in the showers, and plenty of towels. Thank you, Georgia!

The outdoor seating options on the deck, beach, and dock are wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed cruising the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming. The house offers space for a family to relax. Georgia was very helpful during our stay.

We had an amazing time at this lake house. We caught so many fish! Huge channel catfish, bass, perch gallor. The beach area is perfect for relaxing in the sun or nice shaded areas. We enjoyed kayaking and lounging in floats. Great location that feels secluded but it's only 10 min from the Premium Outlets and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our third stay in this wonderful home on the lake. We spent lots of time under a shade tree on the sandy beach. I fished for bream and catfish while my wife relaxed and floated in the lake. Our puppy learned to swim this year! Mornings and evenings were spent eating on the upstairs porch, overlooking the scenic lake. We had a very relaxing vacation and really didn't want to leave. This is a wonderful house and property that is very well furnished and stocked with everything you need to enjoy lake living.
