About this house rental
Beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath modern home in Old Town Scottsdale. There are two master bedrooms and then two other spacious bedrooms that each sleep 4 comfortably. There is large great room off the kitchen with a 65" smartTV and a separate living space downstairs with a 55" smartTV. The dining area is furnished with an oversized custom made table that offers seating for ten! The Kitchen is strait out of a magazine and is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals. The downstairs living room has a bar set up with beverage fridge, a sink, and plenty of seating. The backyard is huge and features a generously sized patio with windows that open directly into the kitchen (see photos), paver patio extension w/more chairs, firepit, gas BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, artificial grass, and a diving pool with lounge chairs! The home also has WiFi, youtube TV, TV's in both master bedrooms w/smart blu ray players for Netflix/Hulu, 1 pack-n-play and more. Located in a prime area of Scottsdale close to the 101 freeway, Talking Stick Resort/Casino, and the center of Old Town Scottsdale. There are tons of great restaurants, bars, hiking, shopping, and golfing. This place has it all! We rented this property for our family and my husband's family who came out from Chicago. After arriving at nearly 11pm, we were unable to access the door code with the instructions on the VRBO App for the property. Finally we were able to get in touch with the host and was given a new door code only to get into the property and to have no hot water. Our family who had travelled hours had to take cold showers. We contacted the host Shannon again and told her the following morning of the issue. By the time a plumber was sent late the next morning our entire group had taken their 2nd cold shower :( Although the property was clean and had a decent layout, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere. There are multiple reviews about the hot water issues and I would say the neighborhood was sub par at best.

Leading up to the stay, the host was extremely responsive and even waived the early check-in fee which I was extremely grateful for. However, when we arrived at the house, the pool/backyard was an absolute mess. I called the host right away and was told it was due to the storms that happened overnight and that this is expected this time of year. I wasn't warned of this previously, so thankfully the pool guy was able to service the pool for us before our pool day. However, it still looked like the yard hadn't been taken care of in weeks. We were not given enough towels for everyone to shower (there were 12 of us staying there), but the host did send over her assistant to bring us more. The blinds fell off the wall in 2 of the bedrooms during the stay. The host also had someone fix those for us. The beds were not very comfy and NONE OF THE SHOWERS GOT HOT. I told the host right away and was told there was nothing that could be done to fix this and that sometimes in older homes "that's just the case." Even the first shower in the morning or in the evening after we had been gone all day was cold and never heated up. I am giving this a 3 star because the host or her assistant answered my messages right away and eventually fixed the things mentioned above, but in my opinion it is absolutely inexcusable to have a listing that doesn't provide hot water for showers and NOT warn your guests. A recent review mentions the same thing, yet the host didn't fix the issue or warn me.

The house was beautiful and had a lot of potential but it lacked in cleanliness. The floors were filthy and it didn't seem very clean from the previous guests. We found eyelashes and other things on the floor... The pool was really dirty when we arrived, that was a bummer but the host sent someone the following day. Shower and sink water didn't get warm at all. Overall the house was alright, spacious and good if you have a larger group size.

We really enjoyed the home for our week long stay. The home has been recently remodeled and is very comfortable but the cleaning needs to be improved. Sad to see such a nice remodel and not have it at its full potential. The yard was quite messy also and was not inviting at all. If these items could be improved, it would make it much more enjoyable.
The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is very spacious and the layout of the home gives people enough privacy.
I would definitely stay here again with the hopes that they change cleaning companies.

We stayed at this house while on a girls weekend to celebrate a 40th bday. The house was perfect. The open kitchen with the large table and large island were perfect for hanging out and playing games. Location was close to Old Town and grocery stores which made it easy to get around. Would definitely recommend.

Our bachelorette group had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect - less than 10 min from Old Town. The kitchen/living room area was great for hanging out inside. I would definitely book here again for a weekend in Scottsdale.

We have never stayed in a VRBO before so I was a bit hesitant. It was seamless, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Chau was very timely in answering all questions. The location was wonderful. Thank you again!

We had a great stay here! The location is very convenient, only a short walk to get coffee and small essentials and only a short ride from old town. We loved cooking meals in the large kitchen. The owner was accommodating and responsive to questions and requests. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay here! The location is very convenient, only a short walk to get coffee and small essentials and only a short ride from old town. We loved cooking meals in the large kitchen. The owner was accommodating and responsive to questions and requests. We would definitely stay again!

The kitchen is beautiful and the windows that open to the backyard bar top was a nice surprise! The house came with everything needed for a weekend stay. I wouldnt hesistate to stay here again. The property was not cleaned properly and needs some maintenance. Upon arrival we noticed the floors were not cleaned properly, fridge was dirty with sticky fluid inside, drawers were dirty, coffee maker still had coffee pod and was not cleaned, kitchen cabinets had oil splattered over them, faucets broken, loose toilet seats, front door code for entry temperamental, dirty cloths and hair around the washer/dryer etc. etc. No quality control at this property. We did notify the property manager who offered to send cleaners again, but this was not convenient for us at the time and we really would have appreciated it if they had done a proper cleaning BEFORE our arrival. Some of the dirt was also "old dirt" that needs a deep clean - not just a couple of hours cleaning. We also felt like the property manager did not take responsibility for this oversight, but in stead made us feel like we were just picky. Certainly did not meet our expectations - especially at the price we paid. Will not recommend or stay here again.

Great house for a large group
This property was perfect for my Bachelorette party! There were originally 11 of us but 2 had to cancel last minute. This was probably for the best because though the house would have fit 11 sleepers we were much more comfortable with 9 (no one had to use the trundle or share double beds). We really enjoyed the outdoor space, HUGE and gorgeous kitchen, giant dining table, and three full bathrooms. We also appreciated being able to walk to grab coffee in the morning. I will say, if you are sensitive or have allergies, there was a bit of an lingering cigarette smell in the main living area (probably from before the house was remodeled). I didn't notice this at all in the sleeping rooms. Overall great stay, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home, great location!
This home is stunning, and was the perfect spot for our girls trip away. There were eight of us and the house felt more than spacious enough. We loved how close it was to all of the best Scottsdale restaurants, and the fun backyard!

Fantastic house!
We used this home for a Staff/Team Meeting Retreat. The large kitchen open to the Great Room was perfect for our meeting times. It was a very comfortable stay for all of us.
