Steps to the Sand! Conveniently located in the Crystal Shores neighborhood, our home offers the best of what the Crystal Beach area of Destin has to offer. Our home is close to the heated neighborhood swimming pool, and is only a short walk away from the Hutchinson public beach access (complimented by outdoor showers, public bathrooms, and a lifeguard station). Crystal Shores is a luxurious white picket fenced neighborhood located near the white sand beaches while still remaining close to the Destin Commons shopping mall, providing multiple entertainment and dining options you are sure to love. The house has a large deck area, a comfortable front porch, a private master balcony, a quiet yard, and offers the following sleeping accommodations: (1) a queen bedroom and (2) an adjacent queen bedroom, separated by a full bathroom on the main floor. Up the stairs you'll find (3) a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed and (4) an oversized master suite with walk in closet, private balcony, indoor seating area, and a luxurious master bathroom with both a stand up shower and a separate jacuzzi tub. Further up the stairs there is a (5) loft sleeping area with a twin daybed with a twin trundle bed underneath. *During the peak weeks of Summer we can only accept Saturday to Saturday rentals ** Guests must be age 25 or accompanied by a Parent or can be evicted by the HOA

This is hard to beat for the combination of rental size and walk to the beach location. Traffic in Destin is a big issue so this central location for all needs and activities east and west helped for all our needs. A problem with the new HVAC system was resolved in a timely manner. The quiet street in an otherwise busy resort town is much appreciated.

House was a perfect size for our family (us with our adult kids & small grandchildren). Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of extras to use for the beach (chairs and toys). We loved the location.... close to the pool, safe area, clean & quaint neighborhood. Owner is great to respond quickly to any messages, needs, concerns. Very helpful. The only complaints we had were the beach area was very crowded as it is a public beach area, and the house is in much need of A DEEP clean!! Could use some updates too, beds were not very comfy (several of us have had backs and it was a little rough for that), but nothing we couldn't overlook. Overall, we would stay here again. Easy walk to the beach, and we had 3 kids under age one!

Crystal Delight was the perfect home for our Destin vacation. We had a family of six ranging from 7 months to 80 years old and we all loved it! It was very spacious! One teen loved having the third floor to herself. The other teen enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed. The master bedroom was amazing!!! So much room and space. And the 80 year old enjoyed staying on the main floor as to not have to navigate steps. It was perfect and still room for more.
It was a very short walking distance to the beach. In fact, at other beaches I would say the walking distance from Crystal Delight to the beach would be similar from the parking lots to the shore. There were lots of beach toys, buckets for building sand castles, rakes, shovels, beach chairs, a beach ball, a wagon to pull it in and so much more.
We can’t wait to book our next vacation at the same home and have already shared with extended family who also look forward to staying there for their next Destin vacation.

Had an amazing, quiet visit in Destin post Labor Day. We were a block and a half away from beach. The pool was directly across the street and the house for our family perfectly. It was pur first trip. We would go back again in a heartbeat.
Only drawback for us was a non functioning outdoor grill, patio umbrella and the ice maker did not work. It did not stop us from having a great time.

The house was just as listed! LOVED the quaint neighborhood and easy pool and beach access. The property owner was so kind and responsive to anything we were curious about/questions we had. My favorite was all the seating in the kitchen/open concept living room as it was easy for us to share meals, play board games, etc! We definitely recommend this home/property! Thanks David SO MUCH!!!! We had THE BEST time!

There is a very short walk to the beach, and plenty of shopping and activities within a short drive. The host was accommodating, and the property was clean and well kept. Wifi was spotty, but didn't really notice except for the rainy day we stayed in and relaxed

Positives: lots of space, kitchen well stocked, close to the beach and neighborhood quiet. Pool across the street and easy to access other parts of Destin.
Negative: needs a deep clean for the floors, walls, bathrooms etc and refresh of furniture as well as other items. The living room rug needs to be washed or replaced. Most of the beach furniture needs to be replaced. Towels for kitchen and bathrooms need replaced.
Will need to purchase more basic supplies for more than 2 days; i.e. toilets paper, soap, and pack your own beach towels, none provided!

Family of 7 adults and 2 small kids spent a week at this lovely location. The proximity was a lot closer to the beach that we expected. It was a quick and easy walk to the public beach. We had no trouble accessing the beach. There were a couple updates that could of made the home more appealing but nothing that hindered our stay. It was also in very close proximity to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our family vacation to Destin. David was very responsive to all our requests. The beach was so close and the pool across the street was nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We had 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 kids ages 6 down to 3. This house is fit us comfortably, and perfect location to make a short walk to the beach. We plan to come back later this year or next year!

We had a great time at time! The property owner was very responsive!! He took care of any issues right away. We got in with no problem. We were so close to the beach, just a short block away! There is a grocery store nearby and many other stores. The house is well stocked and had plenty of places for our party of 10 to sit. We would stay there again!!

The process was easy. Upon getting to our VRBO we were able to get in easily. Was a little disappointed of the overall cleanliness. We took a pan out of cupboard that hadn't been cleaned. The upstairs chairs were very dirty. The ceiling had spots that obviously had leaks. The general upkeep is not being done. Other than that pool was right across the street and the beach was a two minute walk. . Beautiful area.

Property is exactly as described. Easy walking distance to pool (right across the street), ocean and numerous eating venues and shopping. Easy drive to Fort Walton for other activities too.

This house is so close to the beach, and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood! David was such a great host, and so understanding when we had car problems and couldn’t leave on time. Highly recommend staying in this home as you won’t be disappointed. The overall size of the home was perfect for the 10 of us (5adults and 5 children 4-12).
Oh and did I mention that the community pool is literally right across the street from you? Also, Destin Commons was a nice outdoor shopping area within walking distance.

The house and location of the property was great. The owner provided all the necessary items on the home to make me my getaway perfect. Those items included kitchen utensils, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and an outdoor grill. Most definitely would VRBO this property again.

Great stay and great location. 3 minutes to the beach and heated pool right across the street. Near a lot of great dining and shopping as well. Perfect for families.

Centrally located to anything in Destin and just a very very short walk to the beach.
House was big enough for 7, even had an extra bed. Everyone slept well each night.
House has a lot furnished, I should have asked before bringing all my boogie boards and beach chairs. They even had an umbrella.
I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

This property is beautiful. It was spacious for our family of eight. The community is quiet, especially at night. The beach literally is about a 5 minute walk from the house. The owner is super nice and answers your questions in a timely manner. We would definitely rent this property again.

First trip to Destin and it was awesome. House had plenty of room and the beach access was just a short walk. Updated kitchen utensils would be nice as a couple of the pans were warped. Master suite on 2nd level was huge, other bedrooms were kind of tight for 2 adults.
Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

When we got there the house was a little messy. There was stuff all under the beds and trash in some places. The house accommodated our family and was okay. The beach was super close so that’s a plus!

We LOVED this house. It had plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, a short drive to restaurants and activities, and the pool was right across the street. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. Communication from the owner was also great, David answered all of our questions before, during, and after our stay!
