Situated in Hilton Head Island, this attractive house for R 22,069 per night is a great choice for your next break. 8 Whistling Swan is a gorgeous six bedroom, five bathroom (plus two half bathrooms) home that can accommodate up to 19 guests total. It is located 3rd row ocean in Sea Pines and has close to 4,500 square feet. It is a quick walk to the beach and the Sea Pines Beach Club. This is a dog friendly rental! The pet fee is $250 plus tax and covers up to two dogs maximum. If you would like to bring your dog, please reach out to us in advance to confirm and pay fee. The pool deck has chaise loungers, gas grill, outdoor table and a half bath. The private pool and spa can be heated for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day. There is an additional fee for this – please call our office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to schedule. 1st Floor: The first living room is just as you enter the home. It has plenty of seating and a large flat screen TV. There is a powder room just steps away. The second living area is open to the kitchen. It has a flat screen TV and direct access to the screened-in porch that overlooks the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a large kitchen island, and a private pantry. The formal dining room can seat up to eight. The breakfast table and bar top offer additional options for seating. There is also a standalone ice maker & mini-bar with a wine fridge and sink. A second full sized refrigerator is located in the garage. Mid-Level: The first master suite has a king bed, flat screen TV and walk-in closet. The spacious private master bath has granite countertops, his-and-her sinks, a large soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. The private laundry room is located mid-level with a washer/dryer. 2nd Floor: The second master suite has a king bed, small balcony and a flat screen TV. The private master bathroom has a soaking tub, separate walk-in shower and his-and-her sinks. Bedroom three has a king bed plus a twin daybed with a flat screen TV and a small walk-in closet. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower. Bedroom four has a queen bed plus two twin beds. There is a flat screen TV as well as a small walk-in closet. Bedroom five has two pyramid bunks (full on the bottom, twin on the top). It also has a walk-in closet and a flat screen television. These two bedrooms share a bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. 3rd Floor: Bedroom six has a king bed, walk-in closet and flat screen TV. My extended family has been visiting HHI for the past 10 years, and this was our favorite rental house by far. Unlike other large rentals, all of the bedrooms in this one are similar and very nice (the only real difference is the size of the bathrooms and the one bunk room for kids), so we avoided the normal fights over who gets the best/worst room. Pros: 2 minute walk to the beach; well appointed; the heated pool was actually warm (even in December); 2 separate living rooms for people to spread out; easy access to bike path. Cons: only one oven; no Bluetooth speaker or Sonos system. Overall we loved it.

The linens and towels were four star hotel quality and plentiful for a family of 15. Although we loved this home we have booked a larger home for our family next year with Coastal Home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Whistling Swan. The house was beautiful, well maintained, clean, and so peaceful and quiet. The location was great, being a 5-minute walk to the beach or to the Beach Club. And the bike trails provided easy access to Harbor Town or South Beach and everywhere you could want to go in Sea Pines. The kitchen was well stocked and wonderfully labeled. The home provided comfort, space, and relaxation for our multiple generations, and no one had one bad thing to say about the house. We loved the pool and having such easy access to the beach and enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and hanging out in the living spaces and screened porch. We are already planning our visit to return next year! We had such a fantastic experience and cannot recommend Coastal Home and Villa enough!

Our large family of 16, with mostly adults ranging from 24 to 73 & 2 kids age 2 & 14 - enjoyed the Whistling Swan beach house tremendously! The house is even larger & more beautiful in real life & has plenty of rooms for all of us to spread out! The layout of the house is very well-designed! We enjoyed the sun room with the ceiling fan, the pool & hot tub & the large grill deck! Best of all is the large bunk room on the 2nd room - very roomy for 5 young adults in late 20’s!

2023 was our second year renting 8 Whistling Swan. It is perfect for a large family gathering. The house has absolutely everything you will need. The location is very convenient to the Beach Club and to shopping outside of Sea Pines. The management company is excellent and readily available for requests. We loved the proximity to the beach, and the pool and screened porch were used every day. Another plus was the fenced backyard making it easy to bring our small dog. We would not hesitate to rent the property again.

Overall, it was a great experience. The house was very spacious. The pool was very nice as well as the hot tub. I would give this a five star rating; however, there are a couple things that I think a five star rating for a house of this magnitude and price should provide. It may be picky, but the toilet paper was pathetic. It was something you would expect to find at a hole in the wall gas station that you would stop at. The grill was very large; however, was in need of some significant maintenance. Unfortunately, we didn’t use it until our last night and found that the disrepair was very hazardous. I’m surprised that somebody had not reported this before. The instructions for the hot tub didn’t seem to be consistent with how the hot tub actually operated. We were able to get the heat going; however, it didn’t seem to be consistent on how that function was accomplished. Again, we had a great time with just a couple of hicups that are correctable.

Outdoor handheld shower which came in handy for sandy feet and bathing the dog after time on the beach. Rental agency was very organized and made the booking easy. The property was perfect for our family and easily accommodated them with the # of bedrooms and baths. It’s location was great!. The cleanliness was lacking. It was very dusty and a dirty rag was left in a chair in the living room and a dirty bath towel was left in the corner on the floor in an upstairs bedroom. Also, the carpet had several stains.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a second refrigerator in the garage that I do not believe was pictured or listed in the description. The ice maker was a favorite and kept up with our demand on coolers/drinks. The outdoor half-bath for the pool area was a great feature as well. Due to COVID, we cooked in most meals and found the kitchen and supplies met our needs. The grill was newer, clean and big enough to accommodate food for 16 people.Furniture, beds, pool chairs and amenities were comfortable and there was plenty of space to be together and/or spread out and find your own space.We would definitely return to this home and are certain we will book again with CHV! First thing we noticed was how clean the home was. Many rentals feel used and worn, but this felt warm and inviting. We didn't have the best weather during our stay, so we were in the house more then we planned, but we had a wonderful time inside enjoying the home despite the wind and rain outside. The bedrooms were well sized with plenty of closet space. Kitchen had everything we needed, and more. The garage was spacious and clean as well. Only small thing that would have made the stay easier is if the TVs had instructions for use as they were set up a little differently in various rooms. The Carolina room and outdoor space was relaxing and felt private despite the proximity to neighbors, and the beach was an easy stroll down the path. Overall great experience!

8 Whistling Swan was a great location for our family vacation -- 2 seniors, 4 adult children, 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs. The spacious and well laid out property provided plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The house was well stocked with supplies, very well maintained and the service from the property management staff was the best we have ever experienced. When a couple of minor issues developed, the property management staff came by within an hour to fix the issues. The grounds were maintained a couple of times while we were there and the pool cleaned three times. We would definitely recommend this property.

This house was very roomy for 9 adults and 2 dogs. We loved the screened in porch and the pool. Very easy access to the beach. Four of the 6 bedrooms were very spacious and the other 2 were a good size. We loved the huge table in the dining room where we could all sit together for our dinners in. We also enjoyed the separate ice machine. That was a lifesaver.
If I have any complaints it would be the appliances in the kitchen. The dishwasher soap dispenser was not working while we were there so we had to just throw the soap in the bottom of the dishwasher. Not an ideal situation. Pretty much had to wash the dishes before we put them in the dishwasher to get them clean. Also the cooktop had burners that did not work. The oven is a Viking range but must be an older model because you just turn the dial to get to the temperature and there was no reading on the front and no indicator to let us know when the oven was at the correct temperature. There was also a drawer underneath the oven for pans and it would not close so it was sticking out the whole time we were there. I did call management about the dishwasher and they said they would send someone but probably not while we were there. I never called about the other things because I figured it was useless. One more thing, the outlet in the master bathroom Had a breaker that popped every time I pulled a plug out. I had to constantly reset it. Even with all of these little inconveniences, it was still a great place to stay and we had a wonderful week!

Rating Details:The property manager was more than helpful.The vacation rental was very clean.I was very happy with the location.I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.Reviewer Comments:This house was very roomy for 9 adults and 2 dogs. We loved the screened in porch and the pool. Very easy access to the beach. Four of the 6 bedrooms were very spacious and the other 2 were a good size. We loved the huge table in the dining room where we could all sit together for our dinners in. We also enjoyed the separate ice machine. That was a lifesaver. If I have any complaints it would be the appliances in the kitchen. The dishwasher soap dispenser was not working while we were there so we had to just throw the soap in the bottom of the dishwasher. Not an ideal situation. Pretty much had to wash the dishes before we put them in the dishwasher to get them clean. Also the cooktop had burners that did not work. The oven is a Viking range but must be an older model because you just turn the dial to get to the temperature and there was no reading on the front and no indicator to let us know when the oven was at the correct temperature. There was also a drawer underneath the oven for pans and it would not close so it was sticking out the whole time we were there. I did call management about the dishwasher and they said they would send someone but probably not while we were there. I never called about the other things because I figured it was useless.
