The historic east side's Casa Apodaca is the perfect base for your family reunion, girlfriend's party or any group of old friends getting together. This home is situated just blocks away from the famed arts and craft district of Canyon Road. Casa Apodaca features a spacious great room comfortable for all to gather with its 65" flat screen TV and comfortable air conditioning. The home boasts 2,800 square feet of living space. There is a private master bedroom with Kiva fireplace, ceiling fan, and double doors to an enclosed courtyard on one wing of the house and two king size bedrooms on the other wing. One king can become two twins and two sleeper sofas in the living room for extra guests. Two of the bedrooms and the great room open up to a lovely courtyard which is a traditional Spanish design of this region. The doors and windows allow ample natural light throughout the home. The two bathrooms are both in the hall. One has a large tiled walk-in shower and old fashion large soaking tub. The second bath has a tiled shower with a tub. There is a spacious sunroom which serves as a breakfast room. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There is Saltillo tile throughout the home. The backyard is perfect for a family barbeque. The owners have lovingly furnished the home with a combination of a contemporary flair and Santa Fe style. Location: .7 mile or a 13 min walk to The Tea House, Geronimo, El Farol and the Galleries on Canyon Road 1.7 miles to the Plaza PLEASE NOTE: - This home is dog-friendly (for stays shorter than 14 nights) with an additional $150 fee, however dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair found on the furniture may result in additional cleaning fees. - The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th City Permit# 156014

My family (7 adults total) stayed here during Super Bowl weekend, and loved the space, the quietness of the area, and the comfort feeling in the home. The ONLY negative comment I have is communication with the property manager. I texted more than a few times, and also sent emails through VRBO about questions I had about check-in/check-out and also a concern about an appliance - but never received a response.

Very clean with lots of room and a nice yard with an outdoor patio. Close to downtown and Canyon Rd art galleries but without all the crowds so very relaxing. Very responsive property manager as well.

This was our second stay at a two casitas property and it was perfect. The home was lovely and VERY SPACIOUS! the separation of the bedrooms offfers a lot of privacy and the sunroom off the back was the perfect work from home spot.
Welcome bottle of wine and chips was great! And the check out process (lock the door and go!) is so easy. Wish all rentals were like this.
There are a lot of steps! 3 sets of 3-5 steps Up and down to kitchen and bedrooms, so was a bit tricky having toddlers and could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.
We come to Santa Fe a lot to visit family and from now on will always stay at two casitas homes. Its a hotel like experience in a rental which is so lovely!

This is a beautiful property convenient to downtown and in a quiet location surrounding by the natural beauty of Santa Fe. The property manager was very accommodating of a last minute change and made sure our stay was comfortable and all that we expected. Will definitely book again.

The property was everything advertised, except for the weather. It rain one day and the roof leaked. But only when it was raining. Nicely appointed. Clean. Large common space nicely accommodated all 6 of us including a 15-month old that enjoyed the open space.

Everything was wonderful!
The kitchen experience would benefit to have:
• Correct coffee filters for the coffee maker (needed basket style, yet cone were provided)
• Kitchen-size pair of tongs for cooking (not the BBQ ones, those were great for the grill only)
• An extra cooking spatula and a large cooking/serving spoon
• Cooking spray
• A drape or door to cover the laundry machines (I know that would not be easy). Maybe one of those curved curtain rods they use in hotels for shower curtains. It would extend outward enough to hide everything.
Just loved our stay though and wish we could have stayed longer!!

Our stay at the casita was very nice. We loved the huge room and the large screen TV. We did not care for the location of the property - but that is our fault, we typically like to stay outside the city. Two Casitas gave us wirtten directions to the property, but we found using our car's GPS system much easier. Our stay IN the property was quite comfortable and enjoyable, we would just rent outside of town somewhere next time - way too congested IN town. That, however, really adds to the beauty of Santa Fe - it is a very friendly, beautiful community. the property is VERY quiet. We never heard any outside noise and the people walking up and down the street were friendly and made us feel at home. So....no complaints really about the location of the property, we just PREFER a more open area. We HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone. From start to finish the members of the team were very helpful and friendly.

The property was beautiful, well appointed and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The house was clean, the bathrooms were large and the bedrooms were very comfortable. One bedroom has a charming fireplace. The back sunroom and front courtyard were inviting. The property was within walking distance to Canyon Road and the downtown area. There was even an off-street parking space. The staff at Two Casitas were friendly and helpful. Loved this property....would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

All three bedrooms were large with all having king size beds. The two bathrooms were roomy. The living area is huge with a large dining table and 2 large seating areas. There are two front yards and one large backyard. Great location that is very close to all on Canyon Road and near enough to walk to the plaza.

The master closet on the right (looking at the closets, w/ the A/C unit) leaked about a gallon of water during a heavy rain during our stay. All our hanging clothes needed to be re-washed.
The master bed room fan did not have a remote so we could turn off the light.
Bunk beds in one of the rooms would have been nice to make the rental more flexible.

We celebrated our family Christmas at 409 Apodaca Hill and it was the perfect house for us! We had three couples, two singles and two toddlers; the accommodations were just what we needed and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We ate all of our breakfasts and suppers family-style; the kitchen had everything we needed to feed 10 people for five days.
After driving all day arriving to a welcome basket of wine, local salsa and chips and such a beautiful “home” for our stay was amazing! The location was perfect for access to Ski Santa Fe, the Canyon Road shops and galleries, The Railyard and historic Plaza - we did them all! Also took the toddlers on several “strolls” to the park on the river.
Our “must-do” recommendations: Ski Santa Fe, Kakawa Chocolate House, Meow Wolf, Puye Cliff Dwellings, Iconik Coffee Downtown, Second Street Brewing, family meals and karaoke night at 409 Apodaca Hill.

Canyon Road Christmas 2019
The house was perfect for our family of six. We were familiar with the area since we lived in the area for almost 17 years in the past and knew it would be convenient for the things we would be doing. Our only suggestions are that the windows should be washed when spring comes!

I have one bit of advice. Apodaca really needs more light in the living room. We brought lamps in from bedrooms but you do need some overhead lighting !
Otherwise is is so lovely and we will rent it again!

Beyond Expectation
From the minute I made our reservation, to the end of our trip, everything was perfect. Everything we needed was in the house when we arrived. Small touches (THANK YOU for having coffee in the refridge!) were much appreciated. Every detail had been thought of. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. I completely recommend staying here. It is also close to everything. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed to Santa Fe!

Santa Fe charm in a great location!
We had never been to Santa Fe before, and we really wanted to stay somewhere with character. This house was exactly what we were looking for! It is a really cute house, decorated beautifully. We were close to shops, restaurants, and art galleries. We enjoyed the house and the yard very much. The open living space was wonderful! We are a family of four and we were all very comfortable in this house. We hope to get back to Santa Fe and we would definitely rent this house again!

We had a terrific weekend at Apodaca.
We had a terrific weekend at Apodaca. The kitchen and grill were so well appointed that we only ate out once. Otherwise we cooked up some delicious meals and long lasting conversations and memories. A perfect 50th Birthday weekend for me!
