Le petit déjeuner copieux et la réactivité de l'agent d'accueil face à un problème
La chambre jungle tellement humide que le sol était mouillé, les vêtements propres linge de toilette propres humides, miroirs avec buée, l'odeur de moisi, asthmatique c'est pas possible au bout de 2 jours nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, non seulement on nous a changé en surclassement mais on nous a offert les petits déjeuner en dédommagement.
La plage c'est de la vase pas du sable, il faut aller dans le nord pour avoir du sable.

The bed was very comfortable and the vibes were cool. The staff was always very friendly and respectful
Even before arriving, there was a misunderstanding with the payment. The hotel changed from Nomads to Mayan Monkey and they wanted me to pay again for my reservation, although I had already paid via booking. It was sorted out at the end through booking.
One of the rooms they gave us wasn’t the room showed online while booking. Instead of a third bed, we got a sofa bed, which is definitely not the same.
It was incredibly LOUD, during the day and at night you could hear the music in the rooms. It was specially loud at night and even with ear plugs was hard to sleep. Luckily, on the weekend the music stopped at 1am.
They didn’t make us aware that half the hotel was under renovation. Therefore, the construction sounds during the day were very loud and annoying.
We paid a higher price for a room facing the ocean but you actually can’t see much of the ocean, which isn’t a big issues but those rooms are the ones closest to the restaurant, making them very noisy.
The staff was very nice and friendly but their service wasn’t efficient. The restaurant was slow and brought food at different times.
One of the bathrooms had a leak and the shower smelled a little like pee, I guess those two were connected.

Les oreillers sont énormes et les lits pas trop confortables… mais on oublie vite quand on peut aller faire la sieste sur les transats

CATASTROPHIQUE, les chambres étaient très très très sales, nous avons dû changer plusieurs fois de changer pour en trouver une convenable…. Celle ci n’était pas forcément très propre et elle donnait sur le beach club (très bruyant jusque tard) + les travaux

Très bel emplacement, chambres propres
C’est un party hôtel mais ça n’était pas clair dans la description. On est arrivé à 20h après 14h de voyage avec comme idée de se reposer, sauf sue l’hôtel avait prévu une salsa night avec des énormes basses jusqu’à 1h du matin.

Situato a 20 min dalla fermata del ferry che collega l’isola a Cancùn, la struttura ha cambiato gestione da poco, è davvero molto bella e curata, propone diverse attività gratuite giornaliere, un buon ristorante e bar (anche se i prezzi sono un po’ più alti rispetto gli altri posti dell’isola). Buona anche la pulizia, personale quasi tutto cordiale e gentile. Acqua fresca disponibile gratuitamente. Lo consiglio.
Attenzione alle zanzare!! Consiglio un repellente per insetti.

The beach was perfect with lots of areas to sit, lay and lounge. The facilities were very clean and well maintained!
The music was constant and loud! Not chill beach music but techno pumping loud all the time.

Urige Anlage, umgeben von Palmen. Am Strand kann man gut relaxen.
Wir hatten zwei unterschiedliche Zimmer aufgrund Problemen mit dem Türschloss. Von dem Zimmer mit Meerblick waren wir hellauf begeistert. Das Zimmer mit Gartenblick roch leider etwas modrig. Alles war aber gut gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick liegen über der Strandbar, man hört gedämpfte Musik bis ca. Mitternacht, allerdings keine ohrenbetäubende Lautstärke. Hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört.
Die Mischung aus Hotel und Hostel geht leider nicht auf. Das Restaurant hat nichts mit einem Hostel zutun, alles sehr überteuert. Anderswo aber auch keine Möglichkeit neue Leute kennen zu lernen. Leider konnte man keine Fahrräder leihen obwohl einige in dem Abstellraum waren (man hat uns gesagt die wären alle kaputt…!).
Bis auf die zwei gegenüberliegenden Restaurants (alle vergleichbar nobel und teuer wie die Strandbar) keine weiteren Restaurants/ Bars in der Nähe. Man braucht für alles ein Taxi.

The ocean view
There are zero amenities onsite that are listed on the website. There are no golf carts, no peddle bikes and no bottled water available to purchase, not even at the bar. The sheets and towel were not provided until after midnight and it was like pulling teeth to get them. They were too damp to even utilize comfortably. The water from all faucets is salt water. Many of lockers were broken and unusable so some bunks didn’t have a secure place for your items. The main kitchen was gross.

Económico y bonito, el personal es amable.
No hay cuidado en los dormitorios por mantener el silencio mientras los otros descansan (jet lag) el aire lo administra el más antiguo de la habitación, como quiere; las puertas todo el tiempo sonaban súper duro.

I decided to stay in Isla Mujeres when I found this place as I wanted to stay in a bit wild feeling but quiet area.
- It's a beach club but It wasn't very loud at night.
- For me, it was also so easy to get here by local bus from north ferry terminal.
- Generally the hotel has a young and cool vibe, the staff in the reception were also nice.
- What I didn't expect was that they have 2 times of free classes every day including Yoga!!
- The beach is not that wide for sun bathing but still quiet and especially in the morning, the water was very clear and you can still be chill enough.
- I walked to the Punta Sur from the hotel.
- Free water in the kitchen!
- The room was also clean, two sinks, two showers and two toilets' in a spacious area.
Don't have that much.
- I don't know why but the shower rooms were a bit smelly. But the toilets were fine.
- Throughout the night, I kept hearing a noise like a washing machine running. At the beach club, the problem was not the music, but the vibration sound.

Nomads is amazing, the staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly. They have a range free activities from yoga on the pier in the morning to cooking classes and salsa nights. The food at the beach club is by far the best we had on the island, so much so that we hardly left Nomads.
The location is great, however the main town is a fair way away so you will need to sort out transportation as it is not walkable.

The room was nice and spacious, located on a small beach and staff were friendly and helpful.
It’s 7km away from the main area of the island where the bars, restaurants and nice beaches are so you either have to spend money on taxis or rent out a golf cart, scooter or bike which the hotel did not have any of. We got sorted in the town with a scooter for 600pesos for 24hrs. Golf carts were more expensive.

This was my first trip to Mexico and to the Caribbean. Nomads was great! I had a great time relaxing here. I loved being right on the beach. Being able to stay in a female dorm/bunk beds made it affordable for me. The dorms have lockers too...bring a pad lock! Having a communal kitchen is great. And free filtered water!! They clean the dorms and kitchen daily, rake up the seaweed, and the staff are all so kind! Many of them were helpful and friendly. Thank you all for your hospitality!
I enjoyed lying in the hammock, sitting on the long pier, wading in the calm, warm water, and watching the palm trees blow in the breeze. My favorite part was taking the free beginner diving lesson and then talking a diving excursion right from Nomads. That was exceptionall!!!
If you like the party life, Nomads has music, dancing and of course, plenty of drinks.
I wish there was space to lie on the beach but it's small and crowded with beds and tables. It was frustrating that I couldn't use the beach beds unless I paid$50 a day or spent that much on food and drinks. As a solo traveler, that's not feasible. At least have more free hammocks because even in low season you have to get lucky to get one. I'd love to return in the winter, but I'm afraid it will be too crowded to enjoy.
I also wish all of the staff were more knowledgeable about the island and places to go. Some of them weren't able to be helpful with recommendations.
And for me, the music was too loud and too much... started daily at 10 or 11 am and went on all pm until at least 11pm...even 3 am on Friday night. I went to Isla for quiet relaxation. But then again, it's a beach club!

The garden rooms were cozy and hidden away which gave a feeling of at least some privacy.
The rooms were large and contained everything expected of a hotel room.
There was a coffee bus just down the road which made some of the only good coffee I tried in Mexico.
There was a huge issue with noise through until the early hours of the morning and the staff were unable to offer any rooms which would be any better - I was informed the garden rooms are the quiet rooms.
The pool was very small and didn't look very clean.
The location is about as bad as it gets, it's right on the other side of the island from nearly all the restaurants and the nice beaches or dive shops etc.
Both the restaurant within the Hotel and the restaurant opposite were very disappointing.

Gorgeous beach club area by the sea. Lovely food and drinks served at the bar. Great vibe and lots of good facilities (golf buggies, yoga and day trips etc). Lovely rooms with nice big beds and a big bath. The staff were also very considerate and responsive to our needs.
There was not much we didn’t like.

Location at the beach and the outside area itself is amazing and the staff is friendly.
The hostel room felt a bit unfinished and the sheets looked a bit too used for my taste (I found a couple blood stains). The place was also missing a chill out or eating area for those in the dorm rooms - the only option is at the beach club which felt a little weird. I guess that‘s because it‘s more a hotel than a hostel, but it still would have been nice.
