Stayed here with my wife and our small dog and we really enjoyed our stay and the property. It was a perfect floor plan and location for us that offered the comfortability of your own privacy and ability to use the available amenities like the laundry and full kitchen etc. The fireplace was a nice touch as well! We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this property. Thank you for the welcome gift as well! Happy New Year!

This generous 2 bedroom was perfect for the two of us. We love the location for morning walks through the neighborhood and access to all Santa Fe offers.

This is a great property, very well appointed and comfortable for our 5 day stay, with a couple items of note. As with many rentals, the living room seating and beds could be more comfortable, and seemed a bit tired. The location is minutes away from all the top things to do in Santa Fe, which was great. What we didn’t understand and was a bit bothersome, was the significant road noise nearly 24 hours a day. Your bed is feet away from one of the main roads in Santa Fe. This is also part of a small multi unit complex, not a free standing unit. Not really a problem, but it did mean there is a big bright skylight in the bedroom because limited windows. Bring your eyeshades.

We enjoyed our stay at La Casita. The rental was centrally located and very close to all of the attractions in Santa Fe. The rental was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a long weekend vacation. We hope to visit again soon. Thanks for hosting us!

A couple of comments about the unit that could use attention: The bathroom door that opens into the bedroom SQUEAKS terribly. We finally figured out that it was rubbing on the bottom against the door jamb. Once we used a bar of soap to coat the wood jamb, the squeaking stopped. Too bad it was after 8 days of squeaking! The window A/C unit blows continually and the check filter light was on the whole time. Might be time to service the unit. Never heard the compressor come on, so it didn't appear to be trying to cool anything. But that was okay because the swamp cooler worked great, although when the wind blows something makes a clanking sound. The cleaning service made sure that the unit was very clean before we got there. But I searched the whole kitchen (I thought) looking for the sink strainer and the garbage disposal cover. Finally found them on the last day when I pulled the garbage bags out from under the sink to refill the trash can and they caught on a dish drainer. When I pulled everything out to get them disconnected I noticed two dark circles way in the back that were under the garbage disposal unit. I got down on the floor and reached under to pull them out...and it turned out to be the cover and strainer. Could you please ask the cleaning people to put them in the sink instead of under the garbage disposal. Some of the window shades cannot be opened because the cords are missing and the screens on the doors leading from the living area to the patio have pulled away from door edges, leaving small gaps. There are large tree limbs that are laying on the electric cables that extend from the pole outside the gate to the house. Need to be trimmed! We will definitely rent from Two Casitas again. The rental process was very easy, and except for the few maintenance issues, the unit was very clean and comfortable. But we will book a little earlier next year to get a unit that is quieter outside so we can enjoy the patio during the day.
