Wonderful historic property with plenty of room. Could be cleaner. Give an eye to detail such as burned out bulbs, dust cobwebs.

Place was beautiful with an amazing setting, close to plaza and walking paths. Everything was clean, organized and nicely decorated. We loved it.

Wonderful location, beautiful quaint house. Pictures don't do it justice.

Cool house. A nice combination of western/Santa Fe and country French style. Could use some updating and freshening though. Yard could be amazing with some tending. Back patio has great potential as well. Enjoyed our coffee in the mornings there. Please note that there is no AC. Fans are provided. Beds are ok. Linens are nice. Easy walk to Canyon Road and overall a good stay.

We really enjoyed staying in this 200-year-old adobe house in a grove of aspens. It's one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Santa Fe, and the house is very comfortable. It's one story but it spreads out so you can find private areas and nooks where you can read, study. There's a whole area for kids with bunk beds and lots of toys, and there are helpful books on hiking around Santa Fe. It's very well equipped, and makes staying in the area delightful.

Perfect location for walking to Canyon St and town. Beautiful adobe home. Lovely fireplace and yard. It's a little dark inside but otherwise a perfect romantic getaway. It was well stocked with all amenities.

Horrible driveway. One way road wasn’t big enough for anything Other than compact cars.

This is our probably 10th time staying at this property, and it is perfect every time. It's historic, beautiful, cozy and in the absolute perfect location in Santa Fe. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

This property is perfectly located at the high end of Canyon Road. There were just 4 of us but this house can sleep 9 people.
Also, it is a very big house with big living room and dining.
The kitchen is the perfect size. I give this house a 5 star rating.

This is a very warm and cozy large authentic old Santa Fe home in a wonderful historic neighborhood. When not enjoying the gorgeous neighborhood walk down Canyon Road to town, we spent many hours enjoying our time around the fireplace and preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen. We felt so at home and communication with our wonderful host, Katherine, made us so at ease. It was just 4 of us in the large home and we wished our extended family could have been with us to take full advantage of all the home offered. I would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Words cannot express how beautiful this home was. The entire house was thoughtfully decorated, well equipped and certainly large enough for our family of four adults, with plenty of quiet spaces for those who needed to work during the day.
Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, but still close enough to walk for coffee.
Our daughter and son were able to walk to the downtown shopping area and loved it. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
We definitely recommend this home!

The high point is the property’s location, within walking distance to the Canyon Rd district. Kitchen needs some help: no ice cube trays available, tea kettle was not usable, and oven knob was broken. Wireless doesn’t work in back bedrooms.

The home is large, rambling, and quite charming.
The living areas are spacious and very attractive.
The bathrooms are good, the bedrooms small but sufficient.
The patio is wonderful, the grounds are generous but need tending.
Parking is good but requires driver dexterity.
The neighborhood and Acequia Madre are beautiful.
We would stay again.

Fabulous historic house!
Plenty of room- a great house for a family with the 4 bunks in the kids bunk area. A wonderful living room with a fireplace. We loved it! We also liked the sun room with the skylight- a great spot for having a cup of tea! I would stay here again- thank you!

Cozy place in a great location
What a nice place for a short, spring break ski trip in Santa Fe. The location can't be beat: nestled within walking distance of the Canyon Road galleries and restaurants, only a few minute drive from the plaza and 30 minutes to Ski Santa Fe. Good communication with host. House itself had lots of rooms and nooks and crannies to spread out and relax. My only issues were that it would have been nice to have a larger TV to stream to (we did know the TV was smaller from the pics) and replace a few burnt out lightbulbs (which made a relatively dark house even darker at times). That said, we had a short but fun family spring break together.

Perfect Location and so much more!
We were looking for a place where we felt comfortable in spite of precautions around Covid. This home was perfect in every way: all the ambience of the southwest plus coziness and comfort, the perfect location in a lovely neighborhood.

This property was wonderful, a nice back yard with patio for sipping coffee or wine. We walked to local restaurants and to the plaza. Perfect spot!

Amazing location
This unique charming home with great, private outdoor patio is a quick walk to Canyon Road with no need to move your car once you’ve arrived. An easy 20 minute walk to the Plaza and many excellent sites. Well stocked kitchen with spices and Cuisinart coffee maker. We totally loved the Kiva fireplace and easy supply of wood. Bunk room great for teens or kids. A few too many uneven floors for infants learning to walk but otherwise lots of unique spots to be together or find your own space. The owner was very low key and easy to reach. Can’t wait to come back!

I would definitely recommend staying at 951 Acequia Madre, what a beautiful home. We had a great time, the layout, the decor and so much natural light. A large home, wonderful space for a large family. Close to everything. Peaceful and friendly neighborhood. Thank you Katherine for being a great host, who I would say was easy to communicate with. Have a wonderful stay and create memories!!

Beautifully furnished house in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Tons of lovely artwork on the walls and furniture representing local culture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen (dishes, etc). We enjoyed the patio overlooking the backyard every morning and evening. House is MUCH bigger than we thought it would be!

I have been coming to Santa Fe for over 20 years, and this was by far the nicest rental ever. The house is huge and very well furnished and decorated. My big regret was that we didn’t have a dinner party for all my Santa Fe friends as this was really a special place. Location is ideal - so close to the Tea House on Canyon but still quiet and private. Host was wonderful. We had a broken dishwasher and she arranged a replacement while we were there. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
