Big room, comfy bed, great staff, delicious breakfast
No fan in bathroom so it was steamy when I needed to do my makeup

Central location of the hotel, enough space in the room for the three of us. Very comfortable, e.g. coffee maker, huge bed, sofabed for our daughter, socket for german plugs…

The room was lovely.
Parking situation is not good- not well explained, no one available to help, etc

one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, beds so comfortable, rooms beautiful but one of the best things was the staff, so helpful and accommodating.
I can’t fault anything about his hotel and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

Great location near Trinity College and Grafton Street. Hotel beautiful, clean and food excellent.

We loved the location of the hotel a lot, the rooms we booked were very tastefully decorated as well. From the hotel to the city center, Grafton street or Temple bar area you can get in about 15 min light stroll, there are also some nice pubs and resturantas near by and there is also Tesco express and Spar grocery shop 5 min away. The breakfast is also wonderful, self service and a la carte ( eggs benedict are delicious).

clean hotel and pleasant staff.
A very cold room. The central heating could not be turned up by dictate of management which was very disappointing. The staff were excellent and tried their best to help but it resulted in an uncomfortable night’s sleep

Loved the location and interior design style of the entire hotel! I am in marketing and loved the way it was branded/designed. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Davenport and will recommend it to others!
Hotel breakfast was so expensive! Local cafes have similar options for half the price. We would have enjoyed breakfast in the comforts of the hotel had it not been so pricey. It is 25 euro per person, so for my fiancé and myself it would have cost more than some of our dinner date nights in Dublin!

The facilities are fine and the hotel was obviously once well appointed. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable and well presented.
The hotel was not operating properly. No room service. No laundry. No minibar. Staff were unhappy and unhelpful. There was construction outside our window which woke us up in the morning. There is no way that this stay was worth what we paid.

In general room size and facilities were good.
Room maintenance was non-existent. I had to fix a broken bathroom door handle myself having requested service which was not provided. Requested a failed light bulb to be fixed three times, but this was not done for the full duration of our stay (4 nights).

The decor, the food in bar was lovely. Nice room. Very clean.
When we got back to the hotel late we asked could we get a small snack as we were starving. Reception staff told us the kitchen was closed. We then asked for just a biscuit or something small to have with a cup of tea. Again we were told the kitchen was closed. I told staff we were very hungry and there must be something they could do. Receptionist looked annoyed and went into bar and spoke to barman. He gave us some snacks from the jars on the bar. He was very nice. The reception staff in general could be a bit more friendly. The bar staff were very nice.
