You will feel on top of the world in this beautiful condo located on the 18th floor of Pelican Beach Resort. The living room is a great place for a small group to relax after a long day at the beach & the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to fuel up for the day. The update furnishings and excellent location make this the perfect vacation home for you and your family. The ocean is just steps away, where you'll find miles of gorgeous beaches. Want to test your surfing skills out before hitting the sea? Head over to Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park first. You'll also find great local restaurants, such as Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House & you can shop until your heart's content at Destin Commons. THINGS TO KNOW The balcony is under construction and unavailable until March 11, 2023 at the earliest. The Pelican Beach Resorts Gulf-front pool will be closed until June 10, 2023 (weather permitting) due to balcony construction. Walkway construction will also take place from October 1, 2023, until February 1, 2024. Shared laundry on every floor of building Beach service is available for rent from March 31st to August 1st. These setups may block the view of the beach from your vacation rental. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 20. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The resort location is spectacular. View from room gorgeous. The pools are nice, beach access and tiki bar very nice.

Sitting on the balcony was relaxing, listening to the ocean waves. The unit was very spacious and clean.

Great view and booking was simple and easy. Master bed is extremely uncomfortable and carpet in bedroom is kinda dirty and sticky. Rest of the unit was nice and clean.

The room/maid cleaning was great.
However on the resort side of things, they really, really need to steam clean the carpets. They turned out feet black/brown. Also the light bulbs in the fridge and under the stove need to be replaced. And...if you plan on using the oven make sure that you bring oven mitts and/or hot pads as this unit has none in it.
The water also went out during our stay. The whole building woke up to no water, due to a main break. I was surprised that the resort didn't offer ANY drinking/bottled water for it's guests. The water was out/off for around 12 hrs.

First, I'd like to say, the property itself was nice. But, there is ongoing construction and we listened to loud jackhammers on the exterior of the building from 8-5 every day. We also weren't able to access the balcony. The only warning we had about this construction mess was in the small print at the bottom of the confirmation after we had already paid. We asked to be moved, but, were refused because they claimed that they had notified us. We were here to work remotely, which was nearly impossible. If you book here ask lots of questions.

There is one bed where the sheets were never cleaned and had sand inside the sheets. I moved to the bunk bed and found the bunk bed not even made. It’s like they hadn’t cleaned the beds at all. Took an effort but called Vacasa and they said they would take care of it. Not until the next day did they bring new sheets and just brought to room and WE had to make the beds. Then find out that they brought twin sized sheets for the king bed! Also, the balcony is not assesible on ANY ROOMS, not just some as they advertised. But it is a good location and close to a beautiful beach. The view from the room eventually will be gorgeous when the balcony is assessable. Destin is a great place to visit, I just would not stay in this building again.

A nice place to enjoy the fantastic views of Destin. We loved being on one of the upper floors to enjoy the ocean view. The condo was clean, typical layout. A great trip overall.

Great location. Amazing view. I had a great time with my family. They have everything in the apartment so we just brought food. It was incredible and organized. Just some minor issues like one of the chair was tear apart, a pan was burned black, and the bunker bed wasn’t assembled in the right way. I hope they fixed that, mostly the bunker bed, it could be dangerous. Taking these issues a part, I had an incredible time and recommended. I hope next time that I stoped in Destin I can stay at this place again.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The view of the ocean and the pool areas were excellent. It had a very homey feel. 10/10 would stay here again!
Only suggestion is to change shower curtain and replace broken balcony chair.

Broken toilets, baseboards laying all over the floors, towel racks broken, floors dirty , completely worn out mattresses , bunk beds in disrepair. Don’t waste a penny on this trashed out junk of a property

Overall, it was a good stay.
Needed updates: large stain on middle cushion on couch, broken chair on balcony, shower curtain has mold, bathroom rack needs cleaning, dust needs to be cleaned off ceiling by vent in living room, and hallway.

We had such an amazing time! Using Vacasa definitely made it easy, plus the resort was stellar. The condo itself does need a little love when it comes to just some TLC things. I highly recommend!

We loved our stay. The unit was definitely older, and could use some updates, but other than that it was great. Very clean which is top priority for me! My family loved the view from the balcony. Washer and dryer were right outside the door. Make sure you have change. $1 for the washer and $1.50 for the dryer. Very close to the elevator which was convenient with kids. Bathrooms are small with very little counter space. Overall I would recommend though! Especially after other family members checked into a newer unit that was left unclean.

Memorial Day weekend stay.
We stayed here for just one night while awaiting a stay at another beachfront property. This property was very nice. You are right on the beach. It has everything you need for a comfortable home away from home stay. When we arrive the unit was still being cleaned so we had a little bit of a wait. Which was no big deal. We had a little mishap during our stay, we had accidentally locked the bathroom door while the shower was running. I called the owner to see if there was a key of some sort to open the door, I was kinda bothered by her response as she seemed frantic and demanded that we shut all the water off to the unit so that the SHOWER does not cause a flood. I felt that was a bit extreme especially since I had just gotten out of the shower and it ran and DRAINED fine, but it was more so the owner tone during our conversation that I didn’t appreciate . My husband got the door open with no problem and I let her know) and the rest of the stay was amazing. The only problem we really encounter was that my clothes were ruined due to the outdated, leaky iron. Don’t get me wrong, nothing I mentioned would stop me from booking this unit again. This is a space I would definitely re-book, and recommend to anyone to stay! You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the stay. The view and location was nice because it was easy to access the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was equipped with all necessary items and was clean. The mattress was too hard and the bedroom had a strong mold/sour smell. The bathroom toilet was cracked but still worked. Overall good experience and we would stay here again.

The property was clean and well stocked with towels/supplies. The location was awesome! You could see so much from the balcony I love watching the fish/sharks/etc. in the water! The beach is awesome and all of the amenities are great! Only complaint is the condo smelled very strongly when entering like smoke covered up by a strong scent. I contacted the company that managed the property and they were very quick to respond and try to resolve the situation! I know if previous customers smoke in the property it’s beyond their control so I can’t fault them for it! Overall the condo was good!
