Breakfast fab hotel lovely. Love that they had entertainment and food is lovely and staff
First night our room was over a generator never slept a wink asked to be moved they moved us to a tiny room on 4th floor with noise outside like an engine but not as bad as generator. I told receptionist I had been celebrating a big birthday so thought they would at least give us a nicer room😩

Suitably located for our trip. Terrific band in bar Saturday night, really enjoyed them. All staff were very nice.
We paid €197 for the room only & €30 for 2 breakfasts which wasnt great, bit expensive. Hotel needs a revamp, carpets in the hall are multi coloured, bit tough on the eye

Close to Rosslare ferry.
Road noise disturbed our sleep throughout the night (Aug 23 and humid).

Great accommodation and location. Fantastic value
Food menu in the bar and restaurant was very limited although it was good value

Lovely staff who were attentive and friendly.
Room 417. It's a very tiny twin room really only suitable for single use. The door hit the end of the bed when opened. The bed was pushed against the wall. There was a table and 2 chairs and a chair at the dressing table but you had to push one out of the way to use the other.
The bathroom is very small also. Had to leave the shower door open while drying off after my shower to move around. Very disappointed with this room. All other rooms on the floor seemed to be what you would expect a decent hotel room to be.

Great location
The room was quite warm even with the window open all night. But we'd definitely go back

The staff were very welcoming (reception and bar). The cost of the stay, given what was on offer and the central location, was good. We were provided with a room that included a partial sea view at no extra cost. The room was clean and included bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits. Wifi was excellent.
The room was, I think, a family room and contained 4 beds. The only double bed had an extremely soft mattress which was uncomfortable. The room was a little noisy with traffic but that was to be expected given we were placed at the front of the hotel facing the road. There was no option to pay for a continental breakfast and so I paid €13.95 for cereal, toast and a cup of tea. However, the menu at the breakfast tables quoted continental breakfasts at €8.50. When I enquired as to this option I was told it was not for hotel guests which seems odd. The bar food was expensive and not very nice.

All round good hotel. The key to our enjoyment was a man called malcolm in the Ballast Bar. V good person

The location was perfect.
Hotel lobby and surroundings looked beautiful.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room we were allocated was small,
a bit grubby and needs to be updated to reflect the standered that greets you when you enter hotel.
The window in our room was covered with frosted sticky tape. This blocked the horrible view of the roof. We asked for quite room but got room near air vents.
The picture you are shown on the hotels site for double or twin is not what you get.
I was disappointed as I was so looking forward to our visit to this hotel.

Parking across the road easy , bar/restaurant good , breakfast good.
Bar/restaurant service slow on first stay : a birthday party event seemed to overstretch them. Plus bar became too noisy for us (though band were fine ).

Meal and dessert were very tasty. Staff all smiley and friendly. Room very cosy with storage heater could adjust heat ourselves and view our at sea was beautiful. Beds very comfy too.
It was cold in the bar when eating out dinner, the waitress said heating on timed and off at that point which was 7pm.

The location was great, the room was nice and the facilities where good.
Upon arrival the receptionist couldn't get through check-in fast enough. She didn't tell us breakfast times, check out time or even mention the facilities. We had to ask for each. The person checking in behind us had to ask the same questions as us as well.
The soap in the bathroom was a squishy bottle that was empty after one use. I had to go to reception to ask for more. The shower gel was the same but we had our own so didn't bother asking for more. There was a box of tissues in the bathroom that only had a couple of tissues left in it, with no spare. So the bathroom not being restocked was a theme.
