Space. Kitchen, big bath room
No human contact at all.

Excellent location for touring Skye.
An information pack as the tablet had not been updated to include appliances instructions. A brush and hoover would have been helpful, as we usually do this before leaving anywhere like this.

Loved the ease of the self check-in/out, it made it very convenient. The little “extras” were wonderful, and shows the property owners really care about their place and ensuring their guests enjoy the stay. We loved the space of the place, it allowed us to have our first lounging and eat in evening. And the laundry facilities were fantastic for mid-way through our journey. I’d definitely recommend this place to others. The only surprise was that it was about a 6 min drive from Portree, or about a 45 min walk along the highway from downtown.
Oh, as mentioned above, the only surprise was that it was about a 45 min walk from downtown Portree, so we were unable to walk to dinner.

Excellent location, very clean and cosy cottage. Pretty courtyard garden and access to a sunny spot at the rear.
For us the bed was a little on the soft side and the settees were very soft. Not a criticism because we are sure that for most people they would be fine!

Great location, just 5 minute drive from Portree - and a perfect base for exploring Skye. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable cottage. We had a very enjoyable stay at Lochsie Cottage - we would love to return.

Great big house. Everything you need is there. Comfortable bathroom and bed. Excellent stay on an excellent spot.
Although it was very nice a few remarks. It s slightly old, doors aren't closing easily and the curtains aren't dark enough, so when lights in the garden are on in the night (which they were) the bedrooms very bright. It's a shame you don't meet a host and all messages are automatically sent and don't respond on a question we had regarding garbage. Could be slightly cheaper considering you also cook your own breakfast.

A lovely, well equipped cottage, ideal for two people and close to Portree. The decor is great with a comfy bed and everything you could need for your stay.. There is an attractive garden to sit in too!

Great location near Portree, beautiful garden, really spacious interior. The bathroom was huge and comfortable, and the bed really comfy. A great base to explore Skye
The wifi was terrible and intermittent, but that may be the fault of the whole island's connection.

The cottage is in a peaceful location just a couple of miles south of Portree which makes it ideally suited for touring. It is well equipped and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. We stayed for 5 nights (out of a total of 18) and it was great to be able to self cater rather than eat in restaurants. It was also good to be able to wash some clothes as it is equipped with a washer/dryer. All in all a great place to stay whilst in Skye.

The property was even better than I had expected from the photos online - excellent facilities in the kitchen area, spacious lounge, massive bathroom, lovely bedroom and great private seating area outside. The owners had also provided a supply of all of the little things we had not taken (e.g dishwasher tablets)!
If we go back to Skye then we will stay here again.

The location, layout and space were excellent. Everything we needed was there.

Properly itself was clean but I had a couple of towels that had black smudges on them. Not a big deal.
Didn’t have enough paper towels and the coffee cups appeared less clean and had stains in them. What I think is most important is the lack of room darkening shades in the bedroom. Woke up at 5am every day due to the sunlight in the bedroom.
