About this villa rental
This beautifully presented large four bedroom villa is situated on the gated community of Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club with fantastic views over the second fairway. The 26 feet long wonderful swimming pool was resurfaced and tiled in late 2017.The large extended pool deck is furnished with six sun loungers and a table with ten chairs, there is also a covered area providing shade from the Florida sun, under which you can relax with friends round the table with a ceiling fan providing a cool breeze and a light over the table for those late nights. Inside the home there is a sitting room at the rear of the house containing a 65 inch, smart TV, and two comfortable sofas. FREE WIFI .The fully stocked kitchen provides all you need to prepare a family meal, with coffee maker, toaster, stainless steel microwave, and side by side Fridge Freezer,kettle stove and dishwasher. The kitchen has granite countertops with a wide peninsula and 4 countertop height chairs. There is a formal dining room seating eight at the front of the house where the second sitting room can be found, also containing two comfortable sofas The master suite has a King bed with en-suite bathroom with separate shower, large corner bath and a walk in closet containing a safe. 55 inch TV The second bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom, with a bath with shower. Flat screen TV. The two twin bedded rooms share the third bathroom which also contains a bath with a shower All bathrooms have granite countertops . There is a games room in the garage where there is a Pool table and foosball table. The garage also contains, two sets of golf clubs, tennis rackets and two bicycles in the games room and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Our management company can provide high chairs, Cots and a Gas grills for an additional charge for each item. Southern Dunes Golf course is a PGA course - one of the best public courses in Florida, and is within easy reach of the wonderful beaches on both coasts, mall and outlet shopping, great restaurants and bars and all the theme parks you could wish for. Also on the property is a gym, tennis courts and a large communal pool, the golf club is welcoming and friendly, with a great, breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. NEW in 2023 at Southern Dunes . I have nothing negative to say about the property or our stay. The home was large, spacious and well laid out. Roomy kitchen with everything we needed during our stay. House was impeccably clean which we appreciated. Lovely pool/patio area with a spectacular view of the second fairway of Southern Dunes golf course. Richard was attentive as a host, provided all info for an easy check in and made sure we were settled in and happy. Would definitely rent this property again if we vacation in the area.

Great house and great host. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Haines City. Enjoyed watching the golfers and the heated pool was awesome!! If anyone is looking to rent a house I would definitely suggest this is home. We stayed 2 weeks in January and wasn’t ready to leave. Melody

This is our second year staying in Richard and Helen's beautiful home! We love waking up to the pool, nature, and golf course view. The up-grades they have done in the house are super and the space is just right. The extra details are just right! Richard checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is in a great location to shopping, parks, and adventures! This year we skipped the parks and enjoyed nature! Try out the airboats and manatee!

This spacious property is beautiful and well located .The pool is great for the children. As it on a gated community it felt safe. Close to shops and amenities. Although we were out nearly every day at disney it was lovely to come back to a relaxing environment. We as a family had great holiday.

We stayed at this property last year and again this year. February & March. The home is very lovely with granite counter tops throughout. All new kitchen appliances this year. The home is spacious and the pool is great. Neighbors are friendly permanent residents. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We love this home. Thank you Richard and Helen. We'll look forward to renting again.

The home is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Southern Dunes backing onto a golf course. It's approximately 1/2 hour from Disney Parks and easily accessible to major highways. It's a gorgeous home that's very well looked after. The communication between home owners and I have been absolutely fantastic. Richard responds to all questions in a timely manner leaving no stones unturned. Highly recommend this gorgeous property!

Clean, Fun, and just a Great Place to stay.
This place was the perfect place for my family. We made a Legoland trip for the kids and this house was situated far enough from the chaos of theme park while being close enough for us to travel back and forth. The house provided us with plenty to do from the pool with all of the floaties to all the puzzles and games to keep everyone entertained. The wood puzzle is such a great brain teaser too. The house was clean and provided us with everything to keep us comfortable. To the owners, thank you for lending us your home and for being such great hosts!

The house was exactly as advertised, roomy, clean and well located for us. Swimming pool was great, we rented a Bar-B-Q and alternated evening meals going out.
Richard and Helen the owners responded to any questions immediately and were very helpful.

Clean, Spacious, Excellent, Perfect Stay
This Property was one of a kind. Just perfect for my Family. Walking distance to everything. A gated community with 100% security and a club house with all amenities. Owner was very Pleasant . I’m definitely referring everyone and coming back here. Love, Love this property and I’m so grateful to have found this treasure.

Very Nice Rental
We enjoyed our stay. The private pool and other amenities available give you many choices for leisure activities. The house is well maintained and all appliances are in good working order. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The gated community is a great place for a walk, bike ride, tennis or golf. The property owner communicated very well and is a joy to work with. I’d recommend this property to anyone wanting a great stay in central Florida.

Lovely Comfortable Home
We spent the month at this very spacious home. We didn't need all the bedrooms, but so much appreciated the huge master king ensuite and the queen ensuite as well for my elderly Mom. We all enjoyed being in the pool nearly every day. Had outdoor breakfast on the patio several times. Joe & I rode the bikes often and enjoyed several walks. Favorite restaurants Mannys, Egg City, an Ovation. Very centrally located for so many different activities. We enjoyed Universal Studios (favorite ride King Kong), restaurant Antonio's Mexican). Another cool place to go is to Circle Bar B Reserve in Lakeland. Free. Walking trails along water with benches & docks for resting, see much wildlife, herons, ibis. egrets, turtles, alligators, and more. Great for pictures taking. Very scenic walk as short or as long as you want (full trail about 8 mi), bikes also allowed. Thank you so much to Richard and Helen for allowing us to use your home & prompt response to all of our needs!

Nice home
Couches in family room need to be replaced and two of the master beds were too high. I'm 6'2" and my feet were about a foot off the ground when I sat on the edge of the bed. Not good for older people.

Beautiful clean house in beautiful setting near golfcourse in Southern Dunes. Spacious rooms, very good bed, nice pool. Richard and Helen are warm and kind hosts. We spent 10 days here, love to come back once.

Great Hosts
That's what stood out with this rental. The incredibly detailed and helpful instructions with staying at the property. Responsive at all hours, and very flexible to any deviations from the script. The house is very well represented by the pictures. The owners are based in the UK which means they've been unable to visit their own property since Covid began. I'm sure there is regular maintenance they will be doing with there next visit that will make the place even better.

Awesome stay
We had a wonderful month-long stay. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The owner was very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. The place was clean and had many amenities. They had all the utensils, equipment and household stuff we needed for a long stay. We didn’t need to buy a thing. They also had beach stuff, bikes, tennis racquets- everything you need to enjoy your stay! We loved it, the kids didn’t want to leave!

Perfect Getaway!
My family of 5 stayed for 8 nights (3 teenagers). Beautiful home with plenty of space for us all to be comfortable. The house was very clean upon arrival. Richard and Helen have supplied everything necessary for a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the pool was wonderful, and the beds were comfy. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, even with being right on the golf course. Close to everything you may need for shopping and dining out. Orlando and Disney only about 30 mins away. Beaches are a little more of a drive, but well worth it, especially on the west coast. Richard was very responsive with questions. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
