De stad Sydney ,vooral het centrum, heb ik als zeer plezierig ervaren....
Openbaar vervoer heel goed, bijna auto vrij.
Relaxed.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Central Station. A lovely bar area and cute indoor/outdoor sitting area.
The bathroom was quite small but was sufficient for a nights stay

Très bon emplacement et personnel très aimable.
Chambre donnant sur la rue principale, bruyant

The whole package at Vulcan was exceptional. The staff were wonderful, the location was close to everything, the facilities were great and breakfast was the bomb...just what we needed after a long trip back from Europe.
Nothing as everything was exceptional!

I had a comfortable stay in the hotel.
Price - value looked good
Love the fireplace at breakfast
Breakfast could have more options to choose.
Room had a ok size as I didn't have a suitcase and the stay was just one night.Otherwise, I needed a bigger room .

Just location
Cleanness
Room smells very bad
Towels are too old and not good to be used by humans

Compact clean and well equipped
They didn’t tell us that we need to pay for what ever was in the mini bar and we ended up charged. it is like a trap

Nice staff, simple buffet breakfast included, good location, reasonably quiet at night, generally clean room, comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower.
Shower cubicle could have been cleaned better; the blockout blind doesn't sit flush with the window frame, so you're facing a bright sliver of light when you're in bed; the window opens, but requires a big heave-ho to lift up, and needs to be propped open.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast being included was a pleasant bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.
6.0
Staff friendly and helpful at reception
No hot water in the morning to shower, mattress lopsided not good condition, rubbish bin strong smell of cigarettes

Easy 15min walk to pubs, restaurants or public transport if you want to go anywhere else in the city. Breakfast included was ok, buffet style, but the serving area is very cramped when busy. Parking is easy and $25 for 24hrs.
Cappuccino or Latte are an extra charge and wasn't nice coffee at all.

great location! 10 minute walk to Haymarket and Chinatown! close to public transport too! was really accommodating and helpful! the place was also quiet and peaceful considering there’s a busy road near it.
little bit dusty around the place.

for a property with breakfast and a bathroom this is great value. staff are friendly. check in was smooth. also pretty quiet and not too much ambient light (I find light at night is often an issue in Sydney.
the room I was in had no outlook. fine for a night or two.

location is fine
a lot of dust in the room; small room; no breakfast before 8.00 am with very limited choice

Quieter location. Carpeted stair access to rooms. Could store my bag for a few hours.
Would have liked a better choice of breakfasts. Perhaps some grainy bread, porridge, or fresh fruit in place of the cocoa pops. Had to pay for a hot chocolate even when breakfast was included.

The Hotel was close to Central Station, public transport, Broadway and Spice Alley food locations.
Female staff didn't seem interested in being at work while on the desk. Male was busy tidying up in bar area.
Went down to partake in Happy Hour and there wasn't any white wine in their small bottles only red wine. Only 3 types of beer 🍺 available. They had all around the bar area Gossip branded Sav Blanc which is a $2 bottle of poor quality white wine.
Free breakfast consists of muesli, cocoa pops or weet bix, yoghurt, bread for toast, 🥶 cold bacon, bake beans, and powdered egg mix. They also offered orange 🍊 juice, water, tea and coffee. The Female staff seemed even less interested at being at work in the morning checking patrons out.

It is very central to where we need to be. I like the vibe and history of the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small. No room to put our suitcase really. Flashing green light above the bed a little annoying.

good location, near Central Station. Quiet neighbourhood
I contacted the hotel ahead of my stay to advise I would be arriving from London at 6am and ask if early check in would be possible. This was not communicated to staff and they tried to charge me $40 for early check in, even though they had many empty rooms.
it is a basic hotel and expensive for what it is.

1) The beds. They were so comfy! We had the best sleep.
2) I loved the shower head, it's a square one with strong water pressure.
3) The location is perfect. It's within walking distance to Central & Paddy's markets. Yet in a quiet area.
1) The bathroom is very small. There's not much room between the toilet & shower. 2) The complimentary toiletries e.g. shampoo/conditioner were poor quality. 3) And the bathroom had no ventilation.

The accommodation was cozy in a beautiful historic building and the facilities provided were absolutely comfortable, good breakfast.
Overall, I can highly recommend this accommodation. If you are looking for accommodation in the center, comfort, look no further. This is the kind of accommodation that really sets the standard for quality accommodation
I was surprised that the 4* hotel does not have an open reception after 10 pm.
You call the night MNG, but if you have a European SIM, it is an unnecessary and not cheap expense.
However, the night MNG was very pleasant and helpful.

First stay at this hotel. Was close to Glebe where we were attending a function. Really nice small hotel, reminded us of the small hotels and pensions in Germany and Czech Republic. Friendly and easy check-in, room nice with good air conditioning. Breakfast was really good and included in the hotel price, we were both happy with the options. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very spacious room with some kitchenette facilities. Tea and coffee was not replaced when the room was cleaned.
Bathroom was very dated. Room was tidy but not "clean". Needs the built up dust to be removed.
At the Buffett breakfast, once items run out they are not replenished. Had a late breakfast on our second day and almost everything was gone.
I didn't agree with getting breakfast but paying for my coffee.

The location is fantastic, the room was clean with a large bathroom and it had a nice little breakfast room and central courtyard.
I was on the bottom floor and the plumbing from the room above was fairly prominent.
