Very roomy, open building with a lovely courtyard. Our host was very helpful and met us at the property when we arrived as we had some international connectivity issues with the parking app.
Highest possible recommendation!

We had a really nice time here. It is a bit outside of the city center, which is perfect for those of us who like a little peace and quiet, but it is still convenient enough to get around by public transit. It does have a lot of stairs (which I think is typical of Dutch houses) so it would not be a good place for someone with mobility issues. It was especially good to have a kitchen and laundry for our stay. The decor was lovely as well. Thanks for everything!

Very nice, clean, spacious property

Easy access to public transportation from this location. House fit three adults well though a second full bathroom would have been ideal. Host responded to issue with toilet quickly. Garden area was a bonus, neighborhood quiet.

We stayed in Ron's house for 3 nights, while my relatives moved out of their Amsterdam apartment to return to the US. The house worked well for us, with a very well-equipped kitchen, except that I would have been happy to have a few more large mugs for tea or coffee. Like all Dutch townhouses, there were several flights of stairs, but the top floor had a full bath plus two bedrooms, and another bedroom one floor down, which worked well for us. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. We had to make a couple of changes in our arrival and departure dates, and Ron was flexible and accommodating with our changes.

The property was clean and ready. The owner was very nice and always got back to us, promptly. So it is with a heavy heart that I have to say there were too many stairs. I had no idea of how difficult it would be for me to deal with. I had to leave to find another place to stay that day we arrived. I wish I had been partially reimbursed but understand. If you are older or have knee problems of any kind, this place is not for you. The location was also a bit off the beaten track so be prepared to have to Uber, bus or cab your way into town.

Owner was helpful, location was convenient to tram and groceries, clean except for couches. WiFi only works in living room. There is no master suite and there are many levels which was difficult for a member of our group with mobility issues. She and her husband did not stay so my husband and I absorbed the entire cost of a 3 bedroom unit.

I was I Amsterdam shooting a documentary on a local Jazz club. The place was a great for shooting interviews and Ron was a super host!

Good location in a residential neighborhood. Bus to Central Station (closest) or tram to Leidseplein near the museums and Vondelpark. Vomar Voordeelmarkt is the closest supermarket but they only take cash or debit cards. Don't miss the Hünkar Restaurant--great Turkish food and good prices! The house was immaculate and very comfortable. Be aware that the house is four floors with the two bathrooms on the upper and lower floors. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were easily contacted on WhatsApp. There's a nice patio but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Too much to see!

From first contact with Ron, everything went smoothly. Key, bed linens and everything where set for us. Very comfortable beds and plenty of lounge space. The place is a bit far from amsterdam central for walking, but is easily accessible by tram or bus. Nice and clean.

Overall the place was fine but could be so much better. Some points to consider:
- the additional $50 Euro cleaning fee is fine, but not if I'm being charged a $60 "linen fee" as well - especially with the comments below
- the need to pick up the keys from a downtown location is really inconvenient. consider a keyless entry/PIN code
- no spare bed sheets, pillow cases, or blankets in the house - at all. This is an easy and critical fix for a place this size
- no useful material for the location provided in the unit. Some maps, directions, instructions, restaurants, things to do would be nice
- no cleaning supplies included. a broom, more than one dish towel, and paper towels would be great
- some clear instructions on the temperature control and washing machine would be great too.
- parking is terrible here. Every day, and time of day. Consider including parking in your parkade as part of the rental fee - would make a huge difference

After a year of Corona during which the house had stood empty, there was a problem (to be expected!) with the downstairs shower. Ron, the owner, did everything possible to fix this, and was altogether a charming, superb host. He had prepared for our arrival (earlier than the official check-in time) with basic supplies and beautiful flowers - Dutch tulips, of course. Our thanks for his kindness and for his efforts!

Ron the owner is super great, responds to phone or email quickly. Thanks Ron

Ron responded quickly to our requests and questions.
Property needs more maintenance on the yard, it didn't look like the pictures, also needs way more towels than the few provided. A shower curtain for the upstairs bathroom would be nice. Overall we had a good stay.

This is a large apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is safe and comfortable. It is clean and quite nice. A few tips-if you don't prefer being on many levels--it is not the place for you. The living quarters are on three main levels. The master floor does not have one of the bathrooms, so it is a haul. Also, it is hard to check in especially if you catch a morning flight into Europe which is typical.
Keep your fans on in your bedroom to muffle the sounds of the planes.
Having said all of that-we had a very nice stay. You are out of the center but Uber is very convenient. We had no trouble getting Ubers to pick us up and drop us off at all hours. It is a very good place if you have kids or traveling with a large group. We prioritized space over being in the thick of things. Very nice apartment. I highly recommend.

We would stay here again in a minute! The place was beautiful, and we liked the location slightly out of town. In town was easy to access via the trolley - we were at the end of the #12.
Our only issues were weather related. We were in Europe during the heatwave; therefore, the restaurant where the keys are, was closed due to heat. Our intent was to pick up the keys upon arrival around 3:30, but we had to wait until almost 7. My phone wasn't working (which I'm sure had to do with me!), so we just had to wait. Additionally, there were ants in the kitchen, likely driven there because of the weather. But not a big enough deterrent! Do it!
