The location was amazing. Right on the shores of Loch Ness with Highland coos just outside the window!. The place was very clean and tidy despite some wear and tear. A well equipped, modern and very clean kitchen. A good TV and comfortable beds. The jacuzzi was lovely, a real treat after a long hike!

We felt a bit hassled by the owner who kept 'reminding' us to pay the deposit which he said he might keep for up to a week afterwards (never heard of this before). The relaxation vibe was also spoiled by the somewhat agressive note en route to the patio which read 'Full deposit will be kept if there is any damage to the Jacuzzi'. Don't expect to be treated like a potential vandal at this price point! On that note, very stingy with the towels and no way to dry the floor so the shower and the lounge floor were repeatedly soaked. The real downer though was the prompt arrival of the (very nice and polite) jacuzzi man at 0945 while we were preparing to leave and 5 minutes later by the cleaners (also very sweet) who were waiting on the doorstep. We felt a bit like we were being rushed and hounded out. Perhaps have them show up at 11 and give your guests some grace to check out in peace.

was not able to use hot tub on the first day as it was still not at optimum temperature even at 9pm of the first night

- stunning views - immaculately clean - very comfortable and spacious - even more lovely in person than the photos - privacy - parking - great location

- hot tub wasn't ready to use for the first day/night as the water is changed between stays and needs to heat up. It hadn't been left on to heat following the change and I turned it on on our arrival at 4pm meaning it didn't reach temperature until the following day. This was a huge disappointment to only be able to use it 1 out of the 2 nights we stayed. If it had been set to heat following the change before we arrived I expect it would been at temperature for the first evening. As we only stayed 2 nights only having the tub available for half of our stay really brings down the value for money - security deposit stated on advertisement is £150, I was surprised to get an email requesting £250. When I queried this I was told its £250 without apology or explanation. (Full deposit was returned but the deposit advertised should be accurate). It is also not paid on arrival, it is paid in advance. - no robes to use with the hot tub - no hook for towels next to the hot tub - bedding and mattress could be of higher quality
