Everything about this cabin was wonderful except the pool.
The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities! The rooms were perfect sizes for our bunch and the common areas were great. We even saw bears outside!! The pool however was a big let down. The water temp was 52 when we got there and it never warmed up enough to enjoy. That was really disappointing for the kids especially!

Our family came to celebrate the Christmas holiday and it was amazing. They raved about it being the best Christmas they've had! The kids absolutely loved the indoor pool and spent lots of time there. The setup was cool. everything, clean, organized. The tv in the theatre room wasn't easy to get going so we called for help and it was good to go from there! Extremely excellent communication to check into the cabin and just to check in on us. We had a lovely time and can't wait to come back!

We had the best time all the way around. Accommodations fit our family perfectly, all kids loved the pool, media-room and game area. We even had a sweet little black bear pay us a visit. We viewed sally from the back deck. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Great stay and would return.

We loved this cabin. We had 15 people from the ages of 4mo old- 50yr. Plenty to do and so close to everything. Cabin was clean and stocked. Property manager was very helpful and was always just a text away if we needed something. This is our second year staying with maples ridge and we have no complaints

We really enjoyed our stay!!! Everything was great. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection in the pool area. But that’s not anyone’s fault. Kitchen was nicely equipped and plenty of space. Really enjoyed the game room!!!

The house was nice, roomy and kitchen well stocked. As information, there are no bath tubs in the 6 bedroom house. With 2 littles that need tub bath, it was very hard bathing standing at the bathroom sink. I wouldn’t rent again with needing a tub. Otherwise, I would rent again.

From the communication for the staff of Maples Ridge from the time we booked the cabin to check out was very quickly. The cabin was very clean and had everything you could imagine. The pool was even warm! We have already discussed with them about staying again.

I organized a bridal party trip for my sister and future brother in law and it was the perfect size for our large group. The cabin smelled and looked very clean upon arrival. The wifi isn’t the best but we were still able to enjoy movies and TV. The pool and hot tub were great and we even saw black bears! Some of the lights didn’t work and one of the sofas was ripped, but we have no major complaints because the space is so accommodating. I recommend carpooling because parking can only hold about 5 or 6 cars.

We were very happy with our stay. It was clean, the beds are comfy, and it had everything we needed. We only had one issue,and it was resolved quickly. We loved it !!

Everything was just like the pictures. The only thing we had issues with was the wifi. My family said they would love to go back. I let management know and they sent someone out to take a look. It was fine and then went out again. Thank you

We had a family group of 13 including both kids and adults. We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and spacious. Everyone had some place to hang out and the large kitchen was a great place to enjoy meals with everyone. Management was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely do this again.

enjoy staying there the view was great,the only think about it was the check -in was kind of late i wish it had been earlier that way we could of had more time to go sighting it seem the day was cut short but thank you anyway we enjoy our selves

Absolutely loved this cabin! Perfect for our 15 person family. A couple notes is there’s no bath tubs, I would not drive on the gravel road that’s behind the cabin, and take some dvds for the movie room because on a rainy day the wifi didn’t work well in there. We would 100% recommend this cabin and stay again in the future!

Exactly as advertised! The location of this home, at the top, provided fantastic views. We had our adult children, their spouses and 9 grandchildren for a total of 15 of us and we had plenty of room to gather together or spread out, comfortably. The pool was a big hit with the kids, that is where they spent the majority of their time. They also enjoyed the arcade room. I want to personally thank the Property Manager for being so awesome, very quick to respond to anything we needed and randomly checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Check-In was very easy and convenient too. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay in such a lovely home for our much needed, long overdue, family vacation....we would absolutely recommend "A Smokey Mountain Dream" and would be more than happy to stay here again!

Overall the cabin was very nice, with lots of beds and bathrooms. The resort is in a decent location, although the cabins are very close together there. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, and had good amenities. But they don't keep the indoor pool warm enough to be comfortable for an indoor pool, so our kids didn't use it much (which was unfortunate since that was one of the main reasons we had picked this specific cabin).

Plenty of room as described. Great communication with management company, very responsive. The kids loved the basement which included game room, pool, and movie room. Overall great home.
The home is very high up in the mountains which we weren’t used to but was a cool experience and we had two bear sightings by the house.
A note about the area: Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg were very crowded areas. Plan outings and get tickets in advance to maximize fun and save some time and stress.

We loved our stay at this cabin. The kids begged to stay longer and come back every weekend. 😂 From ages 3-78, everyone in our party had a great time.
We loved the pool, hot tub, pool table, and that there were plenty of master bedrooms for every family.

This was a beautiful cabin with the right amount of cozy and occupied our needs. We did desire a more heated indoor pool but having the hot tub was nice. All was a success and we are thankful 😊

This was a great place to stay! It was very spacious. The only issue we had was the grill didn't work. I did read the other reviews about not taking a certain scary road. I wish they would of posted what the road name was . We found out the 2nd day there. That unnecessary road was called lonesome way. If you don't have to take that gravel road up the mountain don't. Use the smokey ridge way entrance!!

I gave a 4 star review, if I could separate them I would give the cabin 5 stars and Maple Ridge 1 star. The issues first started with check-in. When confirming the reservation the day before I advised them we would be there early and if possible a early check-in would be greatly appreciated. I was told they would try and get our cabin moved up in the cleaning schedule. Come check in day not only did they not move us up but Maple Ridge didn't get us the codes to get in until we were sitting out front after 4pm with a car full of groceries after we texted them we were waiting to get in.
That in itself wasn't a huge deal. After we got in and started exploring the cabin we went into the lower level where the pool was. We opened the door to the pool room and were hit with the smell of something comparable to Dirty Pond Water. The pool room stunk and made the whole lower level smell and not a scent of Chlorine. I called back and advised them someone needed to come out immediately to deal with the pool. The pool guy came out and assured me that everything was fine and the chemicals were at acceptable levels. His solution to the problem was to set up air fresheners. I advised him I own a pool and everything was not ok. We went back and forth about the pool for a few days until I finally got fed up with it and took a sample of water to a local pool company for testing. As expected there was NO Chlorine in the pool. Maple Ridge office was on the way back from the pool store so I stopped. They proceeded to tell me that the pool guy told them that the pool smelled like chlorine and the levels were good. I advised them I just got the water tested and neither of those things were true. I told them the pool guy needed to come out ASAP while I was there so I could see what he was doing. He showed up mid afternoon agreed the pool area didn't have a chlorine smell and tested the water where his test showed No Chlorine either. He added some different chemicals and not until day 6 of our stay did the pool finally stop smelling like a pond. My biggest issue is that Maple Ridge wouldn't acknowledge there was a problem and then continued to lie about it when there was clearly an issue.
But like I said it was a very nice cabin just poor management of the property.

Perfect Family Gathering House
The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly use in a kitchen and we cooked a lot. The game room theater were great. Never figured out the karaoke machine the the sofas and tv screen were great! Loved the Hot tube. The pool was beaturiful but a little cold for most of us. Pool table got some use and my grown adult sons and grandson loved the Arkade games were their favorite like you researched them for our group😊😊🤣🤣Thanks for a wonderful memory.

A very nice cabin! Ideal for a family reunion with a private pool, a playroom adapted for all ages, cinema, hot tub and a very equipped kitchen with balconies with mountains view where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets with the family, a very nice stay! the children really enjoyed the cinema. Will definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay. Had 16 people all together. When calling the emergency number, one of the ladies was very rude over the phone, we just ask for more sheets and blankets and tell her what we have notice was wrong with the cabin so we would get charged for the damages. The pool is not heated. But the kids enjoyed the pool. The game room was fun. The cabin has board games to play. Movie room was nice. We had movie night. Overall, it was nice and in a convenient location. Not to far from the main road and attractions.

Great cabin, great view!
This cabin is beautiful and has great amenities. Everything was very clean and all the toys (pool, big screen, theater room, hot tub, etc.) worked great. Lots to do to keep children entertained. Communication with management was great. They provided directions but I would recommend making a comment somewhere to make sure to use their directions and not use GPS. GPS will take you to a road that you'll need a relatively high-clearance vehicle to drive. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and loved the cabin! Would highly recommend.
