Within steps of the neighbourhood grocery store/delicatessen, a wine shop, a range of cafes/osterie (including those fringing the nearby Campo Santo Stefano), plus the gallery of interior designer Chiarastella Cattana - a discreetly sophisticated showroom of fine and distinctively woven textiles and furnishings – and, for scent-lovers, the Venice outlet of the famous Florentine ‘Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’ (one of the oldest pharmacies in the world and one time fragrance maker to Catherine de’ Medici). The apartment was perfect! Right in the middle of everything, easy to walk to differ parts of Venice. We were greeted at check in and given some suggestions where to go.

Property manager was super easy to deal with and very helpful. Apartment was very spacious and in a great location.
Kitchen was fully stocked. Lots of dishes.
The two bathrooms were a good size but lack any type of shelving or small cabinets for toiletries.
We had issues with the bedroom windows (in room #1) as they did not fully close properly and we had numerous mosquitoes coming in at night, resulting in lots of lost sleep and bites.
The bedding provided was also very light considering the time of year, extra blankets were found in the storage closet but something more substantial would be appreciated.
We loved the location but be warned the two flights of stairs up to the apartment is not for everyone and there is no lift.

This apartment was exactly as described. Very easy to get to via vaporetto stop S. Samuele, no bridges to lug our suitcases over. The bathrooms were large and the shower in one had good water pressure. The kitchen was well organized but we only used it for morning cappuccino. A very nice trattoria nearby with topical Venetian dishes.

Beautiful and charming apartment is spacious with very high ceilings. Lovely updated bathrooms and kitchen add to the character. My 2nd stay here was wonderful. Added to the great apartment, the property manager, Views on Venice, is amazingly responsive, attentive and thoughtful. The only downside is the 37 stairs to the apartment. They didn't deter me!! Thanks so much!!

Communication was excellent as was the pre arrival service and the location.
There was a shortage of equipment in the kitchen. Only having one chopping board meant constant washing.

Communication was great! We were met where the water boat dropped us off and she walked us over to the apt and showed us around the apt and gave recommendations. Only thing is there was no espresso to make coffee—there was only instant coffee, which is not the same. But that’s minor issue unless you really need it at home, then you may want to bring some :)

This apartment easily gets 5 full stars!
It was immaculately clean, perfectly situated, and everything our family (2 adults and 2 teens) could have asked for. It was in a quiet part of Venice and yet only a 10-15 minute walk to everything you want to go to. A grocery store was a few blocks away and the fully-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook most nights.
We went in the middle of a heat wave and the A/C and fans were most delightful and worked very well. Our daughter enjoyed a cool bath most afternoons.
There are stairs going up, but they are well-lit at night with the switches and it is not laborious.
We would absolutely stay here again, thank you for a great stay!

This is the second time we have used Views on Venice and again they did not disappoint! The team is incredible! So helpful from the moment we booked… our flight was cancelled on the day but they rearranged the water taxi, arranged a late checkin and took all stress away from us - honestly Annalisa and Marta I can’t thank you enough! But little things like buying us some milk and breakfast were so thoughtful especially when we arrived almost 8 hours later than expected. The apartment is wonderful, really large, good aircon and for us we found the beds to be actually really comfortable (not something I often say in Italy!) it’s also in the most perfect position, just near lots of lovely cafes, there is a little shop right by the apartment and a larger one slightly further away. The Vaporetto stop is again only a couple of minutes walk away…. But despite being in such a great place it was very very quiet and peaceful. In short would highly recommend!

The apartment was large and extremely well equipped. It was home from home. Enrica, who met us from the waterbus was excellent explaining the apartment, recycling, local area, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this property.
1. We could not find a way to put the light on before descending the very steep stairs from the apartment. It was OK going up, but not coming down. 2. It would be useful to have a small shelf in the shower to place soap and shampoo instead of using the floor, which could be very slippery and might be safer with a suction shower mat 3. Being British we missed a teapot to brew tea, but we managed. 4. A few hooks by the door would be useful to hang outdoor coats instead of using the backs of chairs.

Anna Lisa is so responsive and super helpful. The apartment was very clean, beds are comfortable and is walkable to most historical sites and amazing restaurants. We recommend this apartment and would definitely be back if opportunity arises. Thank you for giving my family a safe and clean haven while we were away from our home.

The Best of Venice
Must say that the Views of Venice team is a "Well Oiled Machine".... from helping us organize the Water Taxi (Might be more expensive, but worth it) to the most complete set of instructions when we reached the apartment. I pulled out the map from the Taxi place.... our representative said "use our map, it's bigger".... and it was much easier to read and frankly, it was a game changer for us to navigate the streets and squares. Everything "Beat our expectations"!!! Will recommend Views of Venice to everyone.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage
Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Was fehlt, ist etwas mehr Geschirr, damit die Spülmaschine nicht halbleer laufen muss. Den Kaffeebereiter (nicht die Bialetti) kann man nicht richtig nutzen. Der Glasbehälter war wohl kaputt und das Ersatzglas taugt nicht.

We all liked the quiet, convenient location, close to a vaporetto stop. There is an excellent grocery store at the top of the street and the admirable Bacareto restaurant is just round the corner. Comfortable beds.

From the moment we contacted Views on Venice, we knew our last minute vacation would be perfect. The staff was awesome & provided support every step of the way for our whirlwind trip to Venice. Getting us a taxi, arranging excursions - everything! They are amazing. We were very last minute, and accomodation options were limited. Ca'Grassi 1 is spacious and lovely.

Views On Venice Is Simply the Best
From the moment we contacted Views on Venice, we knew our last minute vacation would be perfect. The staff was awesome & provided support every step of the way for our whirlwind trip to Venice. This flat was amazing! The furnishings were beautiful, it was a wonderful, quiet location steps away from shops and restaurants!! I would definitely stay again and highly recommend!! The staff was informative, responsive and very helpful!

Great location, spacious and quiet
We stayed a week and had a wonderful experience. A few notes: it’s on the second floor of a building that has 14’ ceilings and steep stairs. Our three year old was able to climb them but it takes a while. Everything works very well: bathrooms are newly remodeled, windows are large and bright with blackout shutters (no real view but the location of the apartment is stellar), kitchen is relatively new, the living room is large and spacious. We were also impressed with the rental network’s (they manage ~90 apartments in Venice) concierge service. The building does not have laundry but they were able to take care of it for us. The beds could be better but we loved the stay.

Un appartement luxueux situé à deux pas du Campo Santo Stefano. très bien équipé et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. L'arrêt de vaporetto est à 2 mn, ce qui est appréciable lorsque l'on prend possession du logement. Les commerces alimentaires sont également à proximité (notamment un supermarché à 5 mn, non loin du campo San Luca).
Un appartement que nous ne pouvons donc que recommander.

Fantastic and wonderful time in Venice
I recently just returned from my trip in Europe. Part of that trip was going go Venice where we stayed in San Marco. This apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Since our group was a total of 2 couples, having separate bathrooms and bedrooms was a must. Although the bed and blankets were not the most comfortable, that did not greatly affect our great time here. The location is perfect and quiet. It's a 25 second walk to the water taxi which is very useful. If the weather is nice, then I would suggest walking to your destination. Once you know your way, everything seems to be within 10 minutes. One of the best parts of this apartment is being right next to this popular wine bar/restaurant. Surprisingly, the bar is more popular than the restaurant but it's a great spot to have a few glasses of wine and really good antipasto. This was highly suggested by the apartment staff. Above all, the people who manage the apartment were extremely helpful. They arranged all of our transportation, recommended many great restaurants, and helped with any questions I had.
The only downside to this apartment is the main shower. The water pressure is pretty low. If anyone else is using the other bathroom, then it's very difficult to shower. Also if you are older, the apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. We had no problems but it could be a concern for people who have trouble walking.

A wonderful apartment
It is a modern and well furnished apartment. It is well equipped and have everything you want. Situated in a very convenient location, 5 to 10 minutes walk to St. Mark Square, Rialto, Accademia, etc. Many art galleries and a piazza/campo nearby. A quiet yet convenient place. Lovely apartment!
Ca' Grassi was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is very large with high ceilings and large windows. Everything was clean and the kitchen, although small, is bright, modern and well equipped. It's location is super for sightseeing around Venice. Thank you to the staff of Views on Venice for meeting us at the waterbus stop, showing us around the flat and for the tips on getting around in Venice. Great stay!

Gorgeous apartment!
My family and I stayed in this gorgeous apartment for 4 nights - it was absolutely spotless, very convenient and gorgeous!! The apartment is close to all the sights and the vaproretto stops are only a few minutes away. The apartment is well furnished with everything you would want. The grocery store and pastry stops as well as good restaurants are very close by. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Nice flat which we found to be spotlessly clean. In a great central location which made walking everywhere very easy and convenient. Views on Venice are a great, efficient and reliable company who arranged private taxi transfer for us from the airport which dropped us very close to the apartment where we were met very promptly by two staff members who showed us around a gave us lots of useful information! They very kindly allowed us to stay in apartment until 2pm on day of departure as no new guests were arriving that day. Excellent service! Many thanks.

Only bemol would be the bathroom which would require hooks to put the towels and more water pression for the shower.
