The master bedroom offers a beautiful new upscale king bed, white cottage style furniture, a designer floral comforter, as well as a nice flat-screen TV. The hall bunks feature cozy custom bedding just perfect for the children. There is a full bathroom with an upgraded light fixture as well as a new mirror and fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the comforts of home for meal preparation including housewares and full-size appliances. There is plenty of seating with two bar stools, a dining table for four, a striped sofa sleeper, and a designer chair. The living room features a large flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a CD stereo system for your entertainment pleasure! For your convenience, you will find a stackable washer and dryer in the unit. The highlight of this lovely unit is the spacious balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the view of the beautiful Gulf waters. Make this fine unit your next unforgettable beach vacation in Destin! Note: Grand Caribbean East & West does not have elevators. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 3. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Let's be fair- it is hard to ruin a beach vacation. We arrived to find the unit in fair condition- missing pillow cases on a bed, blood-stained sheets on another, floors didn't seem clean. Beaches were closed on arrival so we decided to hit the pool- code to gated pool entry did not work. Earlier the wifi code did not work either, but correct code was easily located. The pool code though- apparently Fort Knox is easier- after 30 minutes of trying I was finally given the right code. We went out to eat that night but made breakfast at the condo the next day. Loading the dishwasher, I noticed it was broken. In the middle of the day we had 3 people come to address issues. After all that, things were fine. The location is close to the beach. There is some bizarre thing where every other day they run outrageously loud blowers around the complex for hours- it is awful, and as we left around 9 am today, the management was knocking on doors to let in pest control. We were trying to pack and get out so I made them wait. I laughed when I heard the lady next door complain about the blowers and being awakened on vacation by pest control. It is hard to ruin a beach vacation in a beautiful area, but this experience is one I don't seek to repeat. Would it kill someone to leave some salt, pepper, and maybe a bit of coffee for day one so people don't have to come straight in and hit a grocery store. We have food allergies so we always book places with kitchens. just needlessly frustrating.

Check in was easy. Wifi info emailed was incorrect. Luckily i found it posted on the unit. We didn't receive a pool gate code but got it from a neighbor. Bed was hard but good size. Sheets were clean, and they had zippered allergen mattress covers underneath, which is a plus, but they had hairs and stains (like recent blood) on them that was visible when i removed sheets. I couldnt get the TVs to work. Tub stopper and bathroom door knob didnt work well. Mold on/around ceiling vents, air filter on AC unit very dirty. Shower was clean. AC worked very well. Fridge/freezer worked, but door opened the wrong way, so you couldnt access from the kitchen. Had to stand against the wall and was inconvenient. I didnt see a single bug during our stay, so theyve gotten the pest situation mentioned in other reviews under control. It was pretty bareand sparsely decorated butnworked for our needs. I do wish they'd had some plastic dishes, as we had children and didnt want to break anything. Lots of this stuff would be a quick fix to update and clean. The location is fantastic. We have stayed in GCW many times but in a different and much nicer unit. This one was available, and we would stay again. It met our needs overall. The nightly cost was good, but the fees were high, which made it much more than what was listed as.

front door was shaking when balcony door was open. We requested call by manager, manager never got back to us.

Grounds are kept nice
But the house is outdated and not clean at all, shower Courtains we’re moldy as all the vents in the house.

The vents in multiple units including mine which was 311 had mold. Other than that it wasn't a bad place. Minor things need fixed but we still enjoyed our time. If the mold were to be fixed I'd stay there again.

Old unit, bed and pillows were hard, bed sheets are old , bathroom shower feels tight, old smell, we had about 12 baby roaches all over the living room, kitchen and bedroom.

The condo was clean when we arrived. The location is great with ocean view and walking distance to the beach. We would like it more if there were beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels at the condo. The kitchen needed big knives for cooking. There were 2 tiny knive and the rest were steak or bread knives. Also this place needs pest control spray. We encountered some cockroaches during our stay.

I'm not one to complain, when we arrived i had gotten a call that they were going to have the condo sprayed for roaches at 8 am next day. So that made me worry we had to be out of the condo for 10 mins. So I called to see if there were actual roaches because I'm not staying g at a place that has roaches they said it was just a routine spray. So we woke up and they never showed up. The condo did smell like it had been sprayed before we got there. Which was a horrible smell. Floors and walls were dirty. The toilet kept getting stopped up. The gate code for pool they gave us 3 times never worked. Also neighbor below us keep smoking Marijuana about 3 times a day could hardly sit on the balcony.

Great get away right across the street from the beach. But, there are no beach chairs - so bring your own. The pans were well past their prime. There are no extra blankets and the pillow cases on the pillows in the closet appeared dirty.

Everything what I expected. When you request for assistance it was very prompt and quick to respond. Very clean and all the of the household needs and cleaning supplies were supplied already. Meet our expectations. Lastly the price was better than most…

Everything was clean. Extra supplies - plenty of paper goods. But I’m guessing Destin is very safe. Never had a problem of any sort in 4 years we stayed in Destin. Great beach access on foot.

Before our trip I messaged the host to try and extend our trip and never received a response. Check in was easy and it’s a short walk to the beach. The downside is that most of the beach in that area is private. There is only a very small area to fit your own canopy and it’s full by 9am. Your other option is renting an umbrella for $60 a day plus a $12 fee for using a card. The sheets on the bed where stained and there where several baby roaches in the kitchen and living room area.

The home is beautiful location is great only reason I didn’t rate 5 is because when we first got to the home there were little roaches everywhere we had to purchase our own bug spray we did contact property they were supposed to send someone out for pest control

Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. Very, very clean and organized unit. The location to the beach was phenomenal; about a two minute walk. Coffee every morning watching the waves on the balcony. Kids loved the pool and the ocean, and mom & dad enjoyed the relaxation.
