Lovely cozy small cabin. It was a nice weekend get away. One side of the hot tub didn’t work.

You need to be aware of the insane uphill street to get to the property. Even with 4 wheel drive and chains it took several tries to get up the street and once there we were snowed in for the whole week. The snow stopped but it was soooo icy it was like a slip n slide. I don’t think the listing emphasizes this enough.
As far as the cabin itself, it’s fine. Pretty dated inside and the couch is horrible. Minimal kitchen supplies and the toaster didn’t work but everything else was fine. The views and backyard access are spectacular. The master bed was very cozy and lots of blankets were available.
Great Wi-Fi and cable tv.
We enjoyed our week but probably would choose a different property next time, just for the uphill street alone.

Thank you for letting stay at your cozy cabin! We love the location! Hiking, sledding, skiing/snowboarding, golfing and hot tub right behind/around the cabin. Exactly what we were looking for and everything we needed was provided. We will definitely be coming back for another visit soon! Thank you so much for our gifts and for letting us stay at your cabin!

Very nice cabin, cozy, has all the amenities you need and the owner clearly likes dogs which made it all the better (there is a basket of tennis balls and a book for nature adventures). The back of the property goes right into a hike, which was amazing.

Cozy Cabin
Perfectly located, cozy, complete with a fireplace and hot tub. Kitchen is on the smaller side and only 2 bedrooms, so best for smaller families with maybe one kid or you and your partner. Very homey and rustic.

Good location, not worth the price. TINY bathroom upstairs needs remodeling. Kitchen is hardly satisfactory. Dog next door barked the whole time. Two car driveway was only left with room for one because there was too much snow(every other property on the street was properly plowed so it’s certainly a lack of care on the rental company). We had to shovel the front porch, front steps as well as the back porch. Lack of toilet paper, no paper towels and only two kitchen towels. Lots of potential but we certainly feel that we over payed for our stay considering the comparable properties.

Overall it was a Nice Weekend -June 2021
Nice cabin, great Jacuzzi. Details to know b4 renting. Cabin is extremely small fine for 2 not 4. No A/C, upstairs rooms are warm @ 8am . Kitchen- well equipped -no tools for on the grill. Grill- great/fire pit/table is great too, however the rear deck is riddled with nails that are popping up out of the surface. After cutting my foot on one , I went to the hardware store to buy a hammer to pull one that was bad and smack a few more in but the deck surface is a hazard and dangerous. Cabin is not private and both side cabins have a view directly on to your deck and are very close. If your neighbor brings two big dogs and they are left on the patio to cry and bark, well you get to enjoy that too. Forest and the trees around are very nice, and when you fire up the grill you will be joined by racoons, like they will come up onto the deck while you are on it. The couch is shot out needs to be replaced. The wifi and tv downstairs are nice, coffee maker toaster microwave all good , fridge is good, sink counter stove all good, nice bar area to set up a drinks station and the lighting is all good and adjustable to the required atmosphere. Both front patios and rear are covered in a thick layer of yellow pollen, spiderwebs. This issues should be addressed prior to a check in as a part of the cleaning fee. We cleaned the rear patio because we wanted to use it but the front two were so badly covered in pollen that we really could not use them. The check in process was quick and easy as was the the exit process and you will need to take all your trash to another location in your car. Your location is close to village, but you also are also back up in the woods and if your neighbors are quiet then its quiet so that can be hit or miss as it was for us. This is not a negative review. This is meant to be informative as to what to expect and how to prepare. This cabin would get a letter grade of a solid B. However if just a few things were changed and or fixed it could be rated higher. If this were a winter snow time rental the cabin would be wonderful with fireplace and central heat and Jacuzzi. The only concern being that the hill leading up and into drive way would be difficult for even a 4x4, the hill is so steep it is tough without snow. Jacuzzi is very hot and powerful and lights are great for night use. Lower bathroom is perfect and new, master bathroom is like a practical joke a small woman can use it though. Ride the Mineshaft coaster , worth it.
