We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The host couldn't have nicer!
We'll return on our next visit to Asheville!!

Monica was very helpful in making our stay a great success!

Great location quietly tucked away in its own hillside space.
Had a great time enjoying the large front deck where we were visited by a black bear down the hill in front. It was much more concerned with rooting around the trees than with us but we made sure to keep our distance and stay alert as a precaution. There were many other birds along with some very large woodpeckers flying about the trees as well.
The arts district and and town just a short drive away was a great convenience.

Easy access to Asheville downtown. Close to highway, restaurants, store. Fenced in area for pets. Local bears in the neighborhood. Hot tub, big front porch with fire pit. 8 adults, 2 toddlers plenty of beds, room to stretch out.

The property was everything advertised in a great setting. In fact, It had more than what we expected. On top of that, the owner was always available and checking in to make sure everything was good, which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were less than ten minutes to downtown and within an hour or less of plenty of hiking and golf courses. The only hard thing was getting ourselves to leave the property when it was so welcoming. There was plenty of space for us all to be comfortable and the house was stocked with games and firewood. The front porch was our favorite breakfast spot and we were lucky enough to see a black bear wander by one morning.

The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. The outdoor deck area is great, feels like you’re in the trees. The location of the house is close to the Biltmore and fabulous restaurants. What a great place to vacation.

The location was minutes from downtown, yet we were in a lovely quiet, wooded neighborhood. The house has lots of character and charm. Also, very comfortable for the six of us.

We had a great visit to Asheville and the house made a big difference for us. It was so close to town yet felt like so far away. We enjoyed the setting, sitting on the porch and taking in the view. We were even visited by Momma Black Bear and her cubs passing through on the way to the neighbors yard to feast on berries. That was cool. The property had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to our needs and got right back to us. We played some serious ping-pong out back and a couple of board games at night. The firepit is fun to have as well as the hot tub. All the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We ate in most nights and used Crackerjackchef.com who prepared our meals. That made things very easy for us all. Just re-heat and serve. All in all a great trip to Asheville made better by a nice place to stay.

Great house- owner made the process easy. We felt like we were in a remote location but we’re only minutes and an Uber to downtown. Would love to visit again!

Monica's house was perfect for our group of 9 adult women celebrating a bride-to-be and reconnecting. All the living areas were very spacious, both inside and out. We cooked a bit, relaxed in the hot tub, sat out front on the comfortable furniture wrapped in the warmest blankets enjoying the mountain forest views... We hoped to see a bear but did not. I guess we'll have to come back when it's warmer! Uber rides to downtown were easy to get and only $7. The location of this house is SO good. Steep driveway but we enjoyed the exercise. And the host, Monica, was very responsive by phone/text. I could not recommend this house more.

All guests were thoroughly impressed with the house, its amenities, and its location. We had no significant issues with the property and Monica was immediate to respond about the two issues which we ran into despite them not impacting our stay.
A fantastic house that we'll keep in mind for future visits!

We enjoyed the stay with our grown children for a Christmas holiday. There were a few weather related issues that were beyond the owner’s control. She was very responsive and took care of us. Thank you Monica!

The location of the home is the big seller. You are literally 5 to 10 minutes to DT Asheville and minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The Owner/Manager was extremely responsive to the various needs for repairs and/or "how to's". The kitchen in particular was well stocked with most everything one would need to cook and entertain at home.
The only negative, and it was significant for us, was the upkeep and maintenance of this older property did not meet our expectations given the price of the rental. We were there longer than most renters I'm sure (3 weeks) and while a discount was offered, it did not bring the property rental value up to our expectations (the fee VRBO charges and rental taxes I'm sure didn't help). None the less, we had an enjoyable visit with family and friends and the house accommodated us comfortably. I'm sure shorter visits would find the property more than adequate.

The property was well thought out for our six senior adults! The kitchen was well supplied. We could tell that the owned put a lot of love into this property.

We were pleasantly surprised by this house. It is truly tucked away into the woods and mountain area, yet within minutes from downtown Asheville. The setting is quiet and beautiful.
We were joined by several family members. We had a few get togethers. The kitchen is big and efficient and still is a great gathering place. The dining room is good size. There are many extra chairs so at one time we had eleven people at the table.
If you are looking for a home where you can entertain and also be close to town, this is it.
Monica, the owner, is very easy to reach and very accommodating.

Our group included five women celebrating the 30th anniversary of graduating from college. The house was perfect for our needs—close to downtown, extremely clean, central air, enough beds so five adult women didn’t have to share any beds, enough bathrooms for getting ready in a comfortable manner, plenty of areas for sitting and talking, and plenty of refrigerators for different tastes in beverages. We would definitely book this house again for future reunions.

Fun for the whole family
It was easy peasy to get into property. Everything was just as shown and clean. My grown boys enjoyed ping pong daily, we enjoyed the hot tub after all the hiking, and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Thank you to Monica for a fun house in the mountains!!

We were very pleased with our stay. The location was fantastic; close to everything yet private, quiet, and out of the hub-bub. It was a wonderful place to return to after a busy day of hiking or enjoying all downtown had to offer. The kitchen is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms are spacious. We especially enjoyed the cozy furniture on the porch, the hot tub, and the ping pong table. It was perfect for our family that includes young adults and a teen. Monica is a generous host who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and she was very available to answer questions. I don't think anything could have been better.
