Although some of the reviews were very negative, my experience was quite the contrary!! The staff was kind and very helpful. They answered all of my questions and provide clear and upfront responses to my queries. The house was AMAZING and just like the pictures (if not better)! It was clean, updated and had all the creature comforts of home. If there was one drawback it would be not getting more arrival information the day before or day of from Meredith. They could also make it easier to get in touch with them! All that said, I would 1,000,000% stay here again!

Really dissatisfied with the company's hosting. We booked this place over others because of the hot tub, and couldn’t use it because the chemicals in there were so strong. We opened the cover and the smell wafted out, and the water lever was below the jets. We decided to hop in as we all really wanted to enjoy it, but our eyes and skin started burning and it lasted for hours, despite showering. I contacted the property and they didn’t seem too phased. They assured me via text someone would reach out in the morning, which they did NOT. We were trying to enjoy the day Sat skiing but had to take time to contact the property to see what the status is with the hot tub. After some back and forth they said the maintenance man will come and check on it and fill the water. We carry on our day expecting to have a nice time in the hot tub that night, only to return back to find no one came and added water or checked the chemical level and it was cold. I tried to contact the property at 5:30 and 5:38pm (they close at 6) and no one answered. Sunday comes and we check out and drop the keys. We explained our frustration and they comped us a small amount but I feel like it should’ve been way more. Other issues included having to shovel and sand the walkway and back deck ourselves, no pillow or sheets on top bunk, dishes weren’t clean, and the door handle was SO hard to open. I wouldn’t book this place or any place through Meredith Lodging again.

Nice property, jacuzzi was a plus after a day on the slopes. Location is great about 10 mins away from the village. Rooms were okay, bring your own pillows the ones in the property are paper thin.

Ideal location, spacious house and well equipped – perfect for a few days in Big Bear Lake. Communication with Rebecca was very easy, and the directions for finding the place were a great help. The only thing it could use some better lighting in the restrooms and better water pressure in the upstairs bathroom. Need heaters upstairs too. I still highly recommend this place!

Great location for skiing at snow summit. The house itself is great (layout, updated kitchen, easy driveway in snow), but lacked in cleanliness and very few household essentials to go around such as pillows, bath mats, towels. Hot tub was murky. Cob webs. Found old slippers in the couch. Beer under the couch. Light bulbs burnt out, remote batteries dead. Internet was completely down when we arrived & a tech was sent out at 8pm to set it up. These are all easy items to check ahead of guests arrival but seems this house is run solely by a management co and not a lot of pride in ownership. We communicated solely w the property management co and they were available but not as helpful as we would have wanted. We would return for a weekend visit but with low expectations and we’d bring a lot of our own items like towels and pillows.

I should have read the reviews carefully before booking. This place is not worth the money! We got to the house the day after our check in at 3:30pm and the house was filthy. We opened the door and the house smelled so bad. We went back in the office and they gave me an excuse that housekeeping was on it’s way. Because they weren’t expecting us on the day of our arrival due to Southwest Airlines cancellations, they cancelled the cleaning crew on the day of our arrival, who knows how long the house was sitting there uncleaned. Gross!! Food in the fridge, kitchen was filthy, trash was still in the house. Beds were not made, towels in the hamper, floor not vacuumed, dining table not wiped down. Because of the wooden slats in between, you can see old crumbs stuck in between the wood of the dining table. I had to buy a table cloth. She said come back it should only take about an hour to clean the house. Really?! Well, 2 hours later we returned, the house keeper was still there cleaning. We let her finish for another half an hour. She used the same blanket and duvet cover from the previous visit. There is no way she could have done laundry that fast given the condition of the house when we came in. Wooden utensils are so old and falling apart. I had to buy my own. Plastic cover from the kitchen sink had came off. We had to throw our garbage and the garbage of the other ppl before us. Uggh! I will definitely not be coming back here. We weren't expecting the Four Seasons. But, we were expecting a clean house especially with the amount of $$ that we paid for with the holiday season rate. Overall, the house is old and needs serious update. Staff not helpful. Poor communication between call center and office. Very disappointed.

Everything about the property met expectations with the exception of not being able to access the internet for 2 days. Although I am competent in networks, someone had changed the password on the Router and it took 2 days, 2 calls and a visit to the property mgmt office to get it resolved. Spectrum or the property owner finally coughed up the proper password.
