We booked this condo after failing to secure a public use cabin for a long weekend.
PROS
Our 3 and 5yo LOVED all the toys, books, and puzzles. Little critters kept them engaged for 2hrs+. They also loved the deep tub and the counter seats that spun.
Parents loved that the property was dog friendly, the amenities (there was a coffee maker AND coffee, also plenty of TP), the location (we walked to the mountain and to the playground/mercantile), all the storage in the entry way, the firewood, and the cozy blankets.
CONS
As a previous guest mentioned, the walkway leading to the front door is VERY SLIPPERY. I almost fell immediately after warning the 3yo and the 3yo fell hard.
The firewood was all soaking wet. Part of prep should be ensuring firewood is brought in to dry out. And directions on how to operate the fireplace!
Last, and this maybe couldn't be helped but there is a hot tub maybe ten feet from the bedroom and neighbors were going 12-2am. So our suggestion is to leave earplugs as part of amenities.

It’s our second time staying at this place.
No regrets! Wish we would have more chances to stay during winter. Very close to the ski lifts.

This place is so cozy and the perfect place for a nice quiet getaway. It’s very conveniently located, no more than a 3 minute drive or 6-7 minute walk from anything in town. The home was very clean, cute and cozy. Especially with the fireplace and scenic floor-to-ceiling doors/windows. It was a perfect choice to spend a mini early Christmas and would definitely stay there again.

My GPS stated that I "arrived" at location, but the numbers on this huge two story building were near the top of the building, and not only were they tiny, but they were the same color as the paint! I drove in circles looking for any numbers! First impression was a great entry way suitable for winter use when someone comes in with lots of gear. Overall it felt private with a good atmosphere vibe with a small view of the mountain. There were an abundance of towels and safety lights. The condo is generous with miscellaneous needs for guests such as hand warmers, ziplocks, laundry soap, even bear spray! I have some suggestions: a microwave would be a great addition. Only having the stove to reheat food or drinks is burdensome. Needs some extra lighting next to the bed and in the living room as there are no lights to read by especially in winter. Needs clothing hooks in bath area for clothes and for towels. There is only one hook and it is up near top of door unable to be reached! I would prefer a box of kleenex over the shampoo and conditioner though. While there was a brief card left on the counter as what to do upon leaving, it would be advisable to leave instructions on how to work the TV, what stations are available, or if only streaming services are on it. That was very frustrating. There needs to be a message about not leaving wet gloves on the heater---I placed my damp gloves on top only to find that the heater scorched them and ended up loosing an expensive pair of gloves. While the above items would make staying there optimal, the concern I had was that the Keurig coffee machine was dirty. Upon seeing water in the container, I wondered if the container was clean--it was not--it felt slimy. I cleaned it before using it. I brought my own coffee, but it was very generous of them to supply coffee! Bottom line, now that I know from my experience what to expect, I would likely stay again because of the privacy and view and that they allow dogs!! But please get a microwave and lights!

Could be Better
Plenty of space, easy parking, ample amenities, quiet, but the covering for one of the big windows in the living room was missing so our privacy was compromised. The other shades also had issues - either took a great effort to close or partially broken.
Having to empty trash and dump to a bin that's almost half mile away was weird - especially for 1 night stay and when the fee is almost $100.
I slipped and fell, landing on my arm that has a rotator cuff injury. It was rainy but the wooden deck outside the front door should either have a warning sign or clean off the growth that causes it to bee extra slippery.

We came to go out to Double Musk. Place is cute and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning. My only complaint is the bed needs a topper. To firm for me and the wood walkways are in pieces out back.
