We arrived on Monday evening and were able to get in with no problem. However, we were not given the code to open the garage door. I did call Vacasa and was quickly helped. The house was relatively clean with the exception of some items under the couch and a few cobwebs. Nothing that we couldn’t live with. The decks were very nice but the upper deck had no way to get down to the yard or lower deck. If it is supposed to be dog friendly, there should be a way down to the yard. The ice make was not working. We had one of the freezer drawers filled with ice and a couple of plastic ice trays that were frozen. I called Vacasa and was told they couldn’t get anyone there to check on it till Monday because of the holiday. They knew there was a problem before we got there because of the ice and trays. The problem should have been fixed before we got there. Other than those problems, the kitchen was fully stocked with starter supplies and so were the bathrooms. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and utensils. We had a delightful stay. The queen bedroom upstairs got unbearably hot. We could not figure out why! We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Wonderful home. The location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and has great walking trails. Sandy Canyon trailhead is a short drive right off Lake Mary road. The kitchen is fully stocked, very comfortable beds. Ours dogs loved the large backyard. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, well stocked and liked that all of the light switches were marked. However, the internet was spotty and we couldn't get the TV to work. Also, the thermostat in the basement didn't work and it got cold down there at night.

The house was comfortable, clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is great. Amazing location.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The house is great and had everything we needed. We definitely would stay here again. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Great outdoor seating and accessible walking path.
The only issues we had:
The code to unlock the front door was incorrect and it was difficult to get in touch with someone to help. I had to dig through my MANY emails to find the garage code. We ended up just coming in and out of the garage when leaving the house.
Also, the Wi-Fi information was incorrect as well. Two of us had work meetings and had to dig around to find the Wi-Fi name and password.
Other than that, great stay. Loved the beautiful home.

We loved the house, even our dog was in heaven, he really enjoyed the green grass by the park. The house in general is really nice, very clean and the natural light is perfect. The only bad thing is that we received the wrong code to get in the house and it took us a while to get in contact with the rental property, we even had to call VRBO, it was getting dark and we were not getting answers from Vacasa, the rental place.

We had two things come up that caused some inconveniences. First, the door code we were given did not work. We got property management on the line (Vacasa). They confirmed that the code was correct, but it would not work. They were able to get us into the backup lockbox to use the physical key, and that was fine.
Second, on the last day of our trip, we came back to the property to hear an alarm sounding. It was a water detection alarm on the bottom floor. The sump pump was backing up with water and beginning to leak out onto the floor. Got with Vacasa who sent out the local manager to assess the situation. He called for a plumber and told us he should be there within 1-2 hours. Turned out to be 30 minutes. He was able to fix the problem, which just appeared to have been a clog in the line. We do not use cotton-based products (no wipes, only TP), so I don't know if we overwhelmed the system (5 people) or if it had been backing up for some time and finally overflowed during our stay. We had to do some cleanup after the plumber left (drying up water, washing and drying towels, Swiffer wet jet and Lysol). Wasn't too happy about that, but it didn't take long to get the water up, and we did not have any recurring issues.
Despite all of this, we loved the home, the layout, the location, etc. It was a perfect place for our family to spend time in Flagstaff. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Good location, lovely house, well stocked. Could use a bit more information on use of household amenities, i.e. TV, garage door opener code…. All in all a solid 9

Clean, plenty of room. Very modern and close to university, stores and easy access to downtown flag

Automated responses to every issue and zero solutions. You are on your own. "The Local Team will contact you tomorrow" but they wont. I had 3 feet of snow I had to shovel out the icy hill driveway to get my car in when I arrived. Street parking is not allowed. I shoveled the decks which were covered in dog feces. The corners of rooms and under the furniture were covered in dust. I was extremely dissatisfied, made my dissatisfaction clear and got no response or recourse.

We were a group of three senior couples and Whispering Pines met our needs for our mid-October week’s stay. The downstairs was a great space, but no apparent way to control the temperature. OK for sleeping at night, but not really usable for gathering or game playing in the evening. We would have appreciated more traditional network and cable TV programming. Better instructions on both temperature control and TV operation may have helped. Overall, the spaces were nicely furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. We would consider returning if our plans called for similar needs in that location. Well done Whispering Pines!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is close by many grocery stores and the downtown area. We enjoyed sledding in the near by park area as well!

This home was prefect for a holiday family vacation. Plenty of room and great amenities. The home is at the end of cul-de-sac on a quiet street. 10 inches of snow the first night provided plenty of outdoor fun for the kids. There was sledding hills accessible from the back yard. The inside had everything needed for a comfort stay.

Home was very nice. I loved the tri level and everyone had their own room for privacy. The downstairs was a cool area, as it was almost a its own little apartment. The reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the heater downstairs did not work and it was freezing. The property management company sent someone out right away to fix it but they were not able to and offered us some space heater. The were supposed to send out someone to fix the heater the next day but no one every came to fix it, so the people that stayed downstairs were pretty cold. Other than that it was a great stay.

If you’re looking for a great place that separates families, this house is perfect. The basement is AMAZING with a fireplace, king bedroom, family room and private bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs is TO DIE for!!! We had everything we needed and the house is VERY well kept. We have already started making plans to return to this house. LOVED staying here. Our family was so happy and enjoyed it so much!!!

This was a large home and worked fantastic for my wife and I and a couple of friends who came along to help us with a business event we were in town for. The property was decently clean and came with a well stocked kitchen full of everything needed to cook at home and a nice Grill and furniture on the balcony. The home was pet friendly and worked well for us traveling with our dog, they even had a leash, dog bags and dog bowl left in the laundry room if someone needed them. The driveway is steep, but the location on the end of a court made for a quiet stay and we felt our vehicles were safe when parked outside. Would stay here again

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. We are a group of sales people doing a show in Flagstaff. This house is great that everyone has their own bed and bathroom. We will be back in 2023.

We absolutely loved this home! So beautiful, had everything we needed. It’s basically two homes in one. One family can stay on the bottom level and another on the top. Our dog had fun and the neighbors were so amazing when he managed to escape the yard one time. The process was easy, home clean and cozy! We will definitely come back here!

Not just renting a house but renting a home. Cosy corners, comfy sofa’s, great Art, to a totally awesome kitchen complete with plastic wrap, seasonings etc. literally wanted for nothing. Loved having us downstairs with the large TV, wet bar and patio away from the adult kids who had the top floor. Super quiet area. Lost in the Pine trees. So pleased we chose this house to be our vacation home.

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering pines. The house was beautiful, clean and could have held another whole family. We only have two adults and one child durning our stay and didn’t even use the basement or the other office/bedroom upstairs. We were also thankful for garage parking since it rained the first few days we were there. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Came to Flagstaff for a few days to visit the Grand Canyon (90min) & Sedona (45min). We had 3 teens, 2 younger kids, and 2 adults. The home was super clean (no weird smells even though pets apparently are allowed). Generous supplies of paper products, soap, all necessities, coffee, extra blankets/pillows, etc. We played the board games (Sorry! and Monopoly). Wifi worked perfectly,
large tvs in many rooms (we didn't use them much). Apparently there was a 12inch snow just prior to our arrival, so the area was beautiful with snow covered conifers. We had an issue with the plow service (not the fault of the owners/management), but they remedied it quickly. This was completely perfect for our needs, and we would love to return!
