Good things: The house is big and the layout is very inviting! There’s a restaurant called “Salam Cafe” nearby which was amazing!
Things I wish we hadn’t dealt with: The third floor was vacuumed, but the main floor needed sweeping, and the top (4th) floor and basement weren’t vacuumed. Both sets of sets of stairs were yucky and not vacuumed either. This was mentioned and not fixed, just cleaning fee refunded so we had dirty carpets during our stay. The deep freezer has a gross bunch of something dark stuck frozen in it. The blinds and windows hadn’t been cleaned in quite sometime, and lots of yucky walls in need of cleaning. There are no blinds on the uppermost bedroom windows by the bed either. Everything else seemed tidy and clean.
Neighborhood was so so, and parking wasn’t terrible. The first night there was a domestic screaming match on the corner and the police came to knock on the door about 12:30 am. It was ok because we were still up waiting to hear back if we would have blankets delivered. At a quarter to midnight we finally gave up and made a mad dash to CVS for blankets because we needed blankets for 4 of the beds. We found some throw blankets and ran home to rescue my parents & in-laws who were trying to get sleep with only sheets on their beds. We finally had towels delivered about 10:15 pm. Management apologized for the inconvenience and refunded the blankets.
The blinds don’t all work, and there are several screens ripped so be careful with letting insects in. There were ants in the basement already though. My daughter and her fiancé woke up with ants in their bed the second night.
The neighbor plays electric guitar in the late evenings. Don’t expect to sleep easily either night if you’re a light sleeper. It was quite loud.
I asked about a refund on one of the nights due to all the problems we had, and was offered $100 and a 2nd night free on my next stay but I haven’t seen that money returned. I don’t think we should only receive the $100 discount based on all our inconveniences and lack of readiness of the property. Management did apologize for the issues.
Unfortunately, minutes after we arrived my daughter was in a rear end car accident on her way to us. Her car was badly damaged but she was able to drive it over to us. It sat there for several days waiting on the tow truck to finally come take it off the city street. Management was not rude or upset about this issue.

Good stay
Overall we had a good experience. The property was nice and clean. We had a few issues with the ice maker and coffee brewer on the refrigerator not working, the vents in the wall made loud knocking sounds and ants in the basement room. The owner and her contact person communicated well and addressed our concerns quickly.
