Great location for doing things in city centre, short ride on the streetcar to the CN tower, Rogers Centre, etc.

All good :)

Clean and quiet. The huge fridge inside the room was a huge plus.
Would be nice to have some cutlery to use as well as kitchen stuff to cook. I learned I can borrow some kettle and request access to the common kitchen.
Proximity to the park and bike lanes plus plus

The suite was very clean and centrally located to local attractions. Perfect for working as well. The only thing is bring your own utensils, plates and cups as they are not provided.

Nice place to stay. Convenience to local shops. It would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the construction around the area.

Good place to stay.

The room is clean but basic - no facilities and no amenities. Have fridge and microwave but need to byo cutleries and cups. Toilet is clean but request towels and toilet paper at reception. Location is at corner of town and walking to places of interest ranges between 15 mins to 60 mins. Need to learn to use public transport or Uber. Distillery is 10 mins walk away and some eateries about. Affordable but prepare to travel to places of interest. Double bed too small for 2 persons. Remember BYO bewerage, cutleries and food.

Check- in was flawless. Everything worked as it should. Air conditioning wasn’t as cold as we had hoped but it was manageable! We will definitely stay again!

It was what is expected from a dorm room. I would rent again for a vacation where I am out for the day the entire trip.

We booked a suite that had two rooms and a bath and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The rooms, furniture. sheets, bedding were clean. The staff were polite and friendly. The walk-in shower was too small and had water draining too slow issue. in the name of water conservation, the most annoying part was the very low water flow from the taps in the kitchen and the bathroom sink, bathroom shower flow was ok.

This is my 2nd a Stay in 2 months. Good price for the location. Clean 2bdr suite ,with fridge and microwave clean towels and sheets.. We were able to check-in 1h early and were able to leave our luggages in a safe locker at check-out to go shopping before taking our flight out. The personnel was very hospitable. We were pleased with our stay here. We will recommend it.

Clean, friendly staff and parking garage nearby

Facility is clean, staffed with ample security personnel and front desk is manned by personable, well informed students who warmly welcome summer tourists. Restaurants are a short walk away and the Dark Horse coffee shop ( just around the corner) offers great coffee, pastries, sandwiches , as well as wine and beer for take out. A street car stop is about 100 feet from The Dark Horse. The George is a treasure for tourists to Toronto - a haven in a bustling, dynamic city of incredibly expensive hotels - I will be back.

Room was not cleaned very well and we did not get new towels during our stay after following the directions to get new towels. This is a very loud building with uncomfortable beds. On the plus, it’s affordable, has 24/7 security, and had a decent games room.

Enjoyed our stay, staff we encountered were pleasant.
Check in/out was straight forward.
Can’t beat the value for what you get and the location.
Distillery district short walk and was fantastic.
Only cons were the construction in the area and cleaning could use a bit more elbow grease. we always Travel with our own sanitizing wipes for peace of mind.

Great customer service. The room is quiet and clean. Thank you.

The photos provided online are NOT the reality of the rooms. I was expecting a basic hotel room, but what I got was a dingy college dorm, with 1 towel in the bathroom and no soap.
Bed was ok, but again, the photos were not indicative of the reality of the room.

This was such a great find! We booked this for a conference and loved having our own private space at the end of the day for such an affordable price. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The only downside was that there is no air conditioning making for a hot and stuffy room at times.

We checked in and then we left about 40 min later to go to another hotel … it’s a college campus and it smells and the beds are awful. Been trying to get a refund but somehow can not get in touch with management…

Liked: two rooms, proximity to downtown.
Disliked: you have a kitchenette and a full common kitchen, but you cannot use them: they have no accessories. We had light camping pot which we used to boil water for tea. Had to bake pizza in the microwave :(

The common areas are not very clean, and they are VERY stuffy. Staff seems unable or unwilling to help with property problems. Elevators were often broken and we had to used 9 flights of stairs with our suitcases. A/C worked very very poorly and the rooms were hot and stuffy.

The rooms are great! Spacious and bright, clean bathroom. Nice to have full sized fridge and microwave in room. Felt safe in area too as it was right on George Brown campus. Only issue was that the parking garage nearby was full for entire stay and there were always cars waiting to nab a spot. Would suggest maybe listing alternative options as we really had a hard time finding parking in the area. Ended up finding a private garage 10 minute walk away.

I am so happy that I stayed here, it was a great location, amazing price, and the workers were very nice. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to extend my stay but the hotel was booked for the weekend
