And the townhome itself is beautiful: premium furniture and finishes, with the complex pool and hot tubs right out the back door. This is a fantastic mountain getaway; your family and friend will love it! The elegant Mountain Thunder resort offers a rustic vibe with fantastic amenities located in a beautiful wooded area in the heart of Breckenridge. And this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1057 sq. ft. premium townhome is the perfect retreat for seven guests; it’s great for two couples to share too! The living area features a stone gas fireplace, and there’s a large flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Right off the living room is the patio with an outdoor dining table overlooking the pool area. Stainless-steel appliances and large granite counters in the full kitchen provide plenty of space for cooking when you’re not exploring Breck’s great dining options. There’s seating for six at the dining table and three more at the counter. You’ll enjoy access to the shared hot tub and pool, as well as an onsite gym. Other amenities include a private one-car garage, a stackable washer & dryer located in entry way closet, a private gas grill, shuttle service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. Our helpful staff is also available 24/7 should you need anything. Location – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St (about 0.3 miles/three blocks). Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day. A complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town. Mountain Thunder Resort Amenities – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. Everything about the Unit was just as advertised. Very nice, clean, and convenient. Perfect size for 4 people (my wife and I and my daughter and her BF). Hot tub as awesome and the heated garage was a nice feature!!! Property management was very responsive and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Not a Ski-Out, but essentially a Ski-In via Four O’Clock Run. About a 10-12 minute walk to the Gondola, which wasn’t the best with skis and boots! We’d rate it a 9 out of 10.

Really enjoyed the unit, it was clean and easily accommodated 4 adults. The hosts were great with communication and very friendly. Very convenient for ski in, ski out requires a short trek (~10 min) over to the gondola, which could be challenging in full ski gear with small kids.

This was a beautiful home and a great location for skiing. Easy ski in/ski out and conveniently located near town. The management company does not provide a garage door opener - because of high risk of getting them stolen or lost. Hopefully they will in the future. But what a great home to stay in Breck! We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay! We were in other townhouses at the resort (there was a group of us attending a wedding), and this one by far was the nicest! Management company was very attentive and checked in a few times to make sure our stay was going well! Easy 5-10 min walk to Main Street. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Cute townhome. Love that it made it feel larger thank condos with high ceilings. Comfortable beds. We loved that you get access to the pool right outside the door, it was walkable to Main Street, and you had access to other resort with indoor po.

Beautiful place in a very convenient location. We liked almost everything except the color of the water in the master bathroom toilet when we arrived (it was yellow), and also gym was very far away (i would clearly stated it in the description of the property). Otherwise, we had a great time.

This is our third location staying at Breck - twice with VRBO/ABB and once in a hotel. We like this place the most. Enough space for the four of us (and then some), great ski-in location, half block from the shuttle stop (or walk 1/3 mile to Gondola). Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
A couple of notes, which I consider minor. Cookware is getting a little old, where non-stick is starting to flake. We bought a $20 cast iron and left it there, if people know how to clean it. From the pics, I thought the pool/hot tub was accessible from the back deck - you actually have to walk around. Still, you can see everything from the deck so can communicate with others not swimming/tubbing.
One car garage was great for us. Washer/Dryer worked very well. TV is nice and big. Beds were pretty comfortable and bathrooms were nice.
I think we'll be back if we hit Breck next year!

This condo is perfect. The location is right off the slope and easy to get to the gondola. There is a free shuttle to get you around town or different parts of the resort. The accommodations in the unit are very new, clean and in great condition. We hope it is available again for Spring Break 2024!

My husband and I stayed here for a ski weekend at Breckenridge. The location is perfect. Close to the gondola (about 1/4 mile walk) to get on the slopes in the morning and a trail that comes even closer for quick return after skiing Breck! Super close to the restaurants/shops in town as well. The condo was wonderful; hot tub/pool were fabulous. We had a slight hiccup getting keys, but it was solved quickly and everything else was very smooth. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Breckenridge!

The Condo is wonderful. It’s very clean, with comfy beds. The location is great. Quick walk to town. The balcony overlooks the pool and hot tubs. My son (29) and I were there to mountain bike but unfortunately the gondola and bike trails were closed. The attached garage was great to keep the bikes in a safe place. We would definitely stay at this condo again.

The townhome was great, lovely furnishings, kitchen was fully stocked, and lots of towels (including hot tub towels). However, outside the guest room there is a large pipe against the wall that vibrates constantly, while my daughter slept in that room and said it did not bother her, I would never have slept. Also, the guest bath is not attached to the guest bedroom, it is across the hall- not really clear in the photos, while this is not a deal breaker, it was disappointing. The other negative was I kept finding trash (purple earplug by the tv, black earplug on the floor, plastic wrappers next to table, lint ball on floor in laundry closet...), not to mention a couple of hairs, and a few dirty dished. While I can pick up the trash (which I shouldn't have to), it made me wonder how clean the place really was. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so great. And the water had a bleach odor, we ended up buying water (which I hate to do). It is in a fantastic location (easy walk to gondola and town, we only drove once to the nordic area), and like I said a wonderful townhome..... they just need a new housekeeper, and a noise machine in the guest bedroom. Overpriced considering the lack of cleanliness and all the other options around.

We stayed at the lodge over spring break with our two high school age daughters. We had an amazing time in Breckenridge - always felt safe and amenities were very near by. The ability to be on the gondola to ski, or shop, or chill in the hot tub within a 3 minute walk was amazing! I very much recommend!

This property was clean, comfortable, and a great location!!
We stayed as a family of four for a week of skiing, and it was perfect - exactly what we wanted. The ski shuttle was easy and had fast service, and skiing all the way home at the end of the day was super fun and so convenient.
We had a frustrating issue while we were there - no hot water for a few hours. BUT, it was the fault of the resort and not of anything in the control of the owners or property managers. The property managers tried as best as they could to help sort it out with the resort, and eventually it was fixed.
The kitchen was well appointed. The furniture was newer and comfortable and overall the unit was fantastic.
We loved our stay and would stay again! Thank you!!

Great location with such close proximity to the gondola. However, upon checking in we realized that the unit description was misleading as they indicated a king and queen bed available in each room, but the queen was actually a double. This meant one of our group had to sleep on the couch, which was not ideal. There were also some minor amenities which were lacking (broken coffee maker, empty bag of laundry detergent). Overall a good location and great to have an attached (and heated) garage, but was overall disappointed with the quality of our stay considering the price paid.

This was truly the most perfect condo for our little family. It had a great layout, was well furnished, and was incredibly quiet. We never heard a single neighbor. The beds and linens were also extremely comfortable and we loved that they provided box fans. It may get even better outside of the condo, with a wonderful walking path steps from the front door. As well as an EPIC pool just steps from the back patio. The heated pool and hot tubs and little park made for the best. stay. ever. Our boys loved it, we loved it. 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay at this peak 8 condo. The property is as described and was clean and comfy. We did, however, have a few issues while we were there.
First, there were painters there the entire time. They were painting the outside of the condos, so windows, doors, and the garage (for a time) were sealed off. Leaving was sometimes a challenge and being asked to close the windows (especially since the condo has no air conditioning), was super inconvenient. Not being able to use the patio was a real bummer. Coming from AZ, having a patio and sitting outside to get some cool air is a huge draw for us. Pinnacle said they did not know about the painters, but I own a commercial office, and we are always informed about work on the building, so who knows.
Secondly, the checkin process was a fiasco. The directions to the key pickup were fine, but they forgot one major detail in the directions - go to the back of the building to find the key boxes. We spent quite a bit of time trying to contact Pinnacle via email and phone. When we did, they were super helpful. We didn’t arrive at the condo until 8:00 pm, so it was not good to have that happen.
Overall, the condo is lovely. It has a regular coffee maker with only about a days worth of coffee, so hopefully someone will leave you some coffee like we did. Everything was super comfy and welcoming. It is really perfect! Just make sure there isn’t construction going on during your stay:)

we had a good stay at this property, we had a little problem with the place being too warm, even after we turned the heat completely off, but was easily solved by opening windows. great view of the mountain and the pool, hot tubs were a bonus.

The condo was clean and perfect for the four of us. Beds and bedding are comfy. Several humidifiers were provided, which was awesome to put in all rooms. So convenient to be able to pull up in the driveway, open garage door, set down ski gear and step right into the condo. The gondola is close enough to walk - about 3 blocks (teenagers did it every day!). We preferred the private shuttle which was so convenient and came within minutes. The ski-in location was fantastic - about 20 yards from the front door! Easy and quick walk to town. Sarah from the Pinnacle Lodging management team was incredibly responsive and helpful every time I texted her. Definitely helped when we were trying to make plans and needed to know something right away! Overall, loved everything about it!

Room was very clean and well stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies (only one laundry det though). Great location for a little of everything. The condo is in one of the best spots on the property too. Patio overlooks the pool area and you can ski down to within 100 feet of the room and a 5 minute ride to gondola (you can walk via a tunnel but it isn’t exactly a short walk in ski boots) and not much further to go to peak 7, 8, or 9. The shuttle is very responsive and convenient. It is really the key to the property as parking down town is very limited. Walking to down town is an option too because it is not far. WiFi works great but if you want to watch streaming shows on the tv you will need to bring a roku stick, fire stick, etc as they only have satellite tv. Communication was very good and pickup/drop off of keys was super easy. The only strange thing was that mostly everything was handled via text message leading up to and during the vacation except for the notification that the room was ready. That was sent in an email for some strange reason. We asked for an early check in and they said (via text) they would do their best and let us know as soon as the room was ready. Never got a text so we just went to the room at 4pm (official check in time) and the room was ready. Checking my emails later that night I saw they sent me an email at 2:30 saying the room was ready. Not a big deal just found it odd they chose that one item to be emailed instead of the usual text message as I was expecting. I am sure it is an automated thing just think it should be tied to a text and not email. All in all would definitely recommend it and would certainly stay there again.

We are frequent visitors to Breckenridge. This was not just a fantastic location but also a beautiful rental. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances. Beds are comfortable. Checkin and checkout was easy and the staff was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
