I called three times prior to our Requesting that I’d be able to stay near my friend, if they would’ve told me that the issue was that I picked through Hotels.com versus booking directly with the hotel I would’ve done that. But nobody ever told me that. Upon checking in the Moor super rude about my request and told me there was no availability. And then we had to endure three bathroom fixes because the toilet kept overflowing, my safe was broken. It had to be fixed and then they clean the They would leave 3000 instead of four. Finally, I went to request for additional late checkout and instead of telling me kindly that’s not a possibility or we can offer you this or we can do that, woman who originally checked in along with her coworker, Cisco or super rude to be about it so quite frankly, I wouldn’t come back even if you paid me.

The parking was included on my fee and the hotel still charged me $59 per night. Not pleased. The hotel is not in a convenient location. Stay somewhere else.

Not the level I would expect from an OMNI experience. Systems (both credit card and room key) were all down when we came to check in and billing systems didn’t recover through the entire weekend. Made for a bit of a chaotic check as we had to wait for a single escort to take us to our rooms and had to make pit stops to get others on the lower Floors to their room. It was embarrassing to say the least and I the escorting me knew I had multiple bags and didn’t even bother offering me any assistance. Fortunately, I made my reservation on their top floor to access the happy hour lounge that was good.

Not impressed with this hotel at all. I belive they have lost their touch as an upscale hotel overall. Louzy check in as entire system being down, not the staffs fault though. Hallways had a musky stench too them and the bathrooms were not clean at all. Super expensive valet, $59 is utterly ridiculous and absurd. Will never stay here again. Better hotels downtown Austin!

Tiffany and Diana were very considerate and made our stay unforgettable

It was beautiful and comfortable but easier to stay in the hotel because the surrounding areas were not as clean fun or safe feeling

The temp fitness center is a complete joke. A room with little ventilation etc. And the instructions on how to get there are horrible. You know there's a conf room on the 2nd floor called Executive? And the Exec office is not marked on any directions. No sign, nothing. Ipointed this out to a couple of guys at the front desk and they were rude to me about it - like I was an idiot because I could not find the unmarked room using the inadequate instructions.

Refused to let us cancel or reschedule even though we gave them a month's notice and was going to stay at another on the location 2 months later for our honeymoon.

The HVAC wasn't working properly then the breakfast service staff kept banging the service door right next to our room. An apology at checkout was all that was offered. A follow-up call from a supervisor was promised (and not delivered). What a waste of money!

Very welcoming. Wifi is free for members so I encourage you to be a member. Hotel is great. It’s our anniversary and they keep you surprised! They sent a bottle of wine and charcuterie to our room! Front desk Eddy is helpful. Will stay here again.

They all were all hospitable and very friendly and made our time there very enjoyable!

Second stay at the Om I Austin Downtown. Friendly staff, always eager to assist. Hotel sits in a great location and puts you within walking distance of the 6th Street are area, as well as numerous upscale restaurants and theaters. Love the local speakeasy, only 2 blocks away.

The Omni in downtown Austin was fantastic. Sergio at the front desk greeted us with a warm and friendly conversation. He listened to our questions and provided excellent recommendations. The hotel was extremely clean and decor was beautiful. The hotel made our anniversary special. Thank you to the team for that. Major points for thinking of us. We were on a premier floor which included breakfast and happy hour. The team working breakfast and happy hour were extremely attentive. A special call out to Rana who worked the happy hour, great attitude.
I believe you can tell how good the management and team are when a crisis happens. While we got to experience that first hand. Apparently the elevators had a problem one night. The team quickly jumped into action and helped all the guests get back to their room. They never panic and worked as a team to make everyone feel good and comfortable. Nice work team.
More to say, but I think I made my points.
Would I stay at Omni again? Oh yes.

A computer glitch caused an extended check-in process.
Other lodgers were checked in in a jiffy.
Way too many e-mails and texts. In a vaguely threatening tone. "You must reply to this text or you may not receive the wi-fi password." sort of thing.
"Please reply to this message, Very important!"
I paid, OK? Stop the harassment.
The hotel? It's an Omni. It's fine. Just because a technology exists doesn't mean it is appropriate.

The hotel is in a convenient central location for events in downtown Austin. The hotel was very clean and room was stocked with clean towels and other necessities. The one dislike was the hard uncomfortable mattress and the flat pillows. Because of that we did not get a good night sleep. I expected more for the money I paid.

This is an exceptionally well run operation. I have been staying here since 2011 and the new management had made a major difference in operations and customer service.

Gorgeous hotel! I loved the convenience of parking in downtown and walking to a few destinations nearby. The staff is kind too. I highly recommend staying here.

All the best restaurants are within walking distance. Parking in downtown Austin gets pricey but having the convince of walking to all the best place to eat and shop is a plus. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel appears to be under construction, and I got the ugly, decaying furniture room.: ( and floor.

Great place to stay within walking distance of many places. Staff was very friendly and spoke to us every time we walked through the lobby. Valet team was quick, efficient and friendly.

The hotel room we stayed in was really nice. We had a nice view of the city. The bed and comforter was very comfortable. The only issue was that the AC was a little noisy and didn't work very well. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel staff were very kind and accomodating.

We stayed at this property before. Overall it’s a nice hotel. Loved staying in the corner room on top floor with views of 6th street and downtown. My main complaint is in the housekeeping area. The housekeepers did not come in daily to empty our (full trash can), make up our bed, restock the coffee/tea bar. For the level of this property, I expect daily room service.

Nick at the front desk was amazing. Helped us get checked in an hour early so we could drop our stuff off before brunch. Everyone was super nice

The room was great but the heat did not work so we had to sleep in long sleeve shirts to stay warm.
We called for help and the technician stated ‘it will warm up in 20 minutes’. It never did

Unfortunately we had some quite unpleasant guests staying on our floor that decided to wake up at 6am with their small children and let them run the hall way. After this went on all morning we expressed our concerns to the staff which they moved us to a new room further down on the same floor. The 2nd morning we unfortunately were awakened again by the same family which decided to venture to our new side of the floor and rudly let their children stomp on the window ledges and run the hallways. We asked the family to keep it down which they ignored. We called the front and in less than 3 minutes the manager personally came up to the floor to quiet the disruptive family. We unfortunately didnt get to sleep in during our stay, because of the inconsiderate family, but we appreciated the effort by the staff to do their best to accommodate and remedy the situation.
