This is the only place I’ve stayed in Oregon using Hotels.com that I had to put down a security deposit of $50 on a card. It did get refunded the second day, but I had already prepaid for the room. That’s ridiculous. I’ve never ever had to do that.

We arrived in the late evening and front desk staff was very prompt and friendly. Got everything processed quickly and into our room in a snap. The room did have an old smell upon entering, but not unbearable. The toilet had a weak and slow flush. Shower was great. In room amenities were perfect for our needs: micro, fridge, in room coffee. Good value for the money. We would stay here again.

The grounds are beautiful - but the rooms are not clean Woke up to ants inside our baggage! Yuck! The response from the desk was a shrug and a "that happens this time of year!" I'd steer clear, if I were you.

Not clean and nothing like the photos advertised, bathroom was small and everything was too low, un able to use the shower because of this. The bathroom was in a rough condition with the bathtub and all its problems looking painted over, The carpet was coming up in multiple places.

I’ve stayed here several times now over the last month while working in Springfield. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean. It’s a sort of no frills place that is conveniently located.

We enjoyed our stay at Village Inn - it is an older hotel, but the convenience of food and accessibility to the freeway made it a great choice. It was not loud at all - the room, as well as the king sized bed was large. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The best part of our stay was Frank. He was nice kind and helpful. We left an item in our room after checking out. He was so nice to grabbed from our room and asked if we wanted it to be shipped. But we were able to stop by and picked it up. Thank you Frank for your awesome customer service.

We have stayed here several times and it’s a wonderful stay every time this is a older property but very well kept room was clean comfortable and pretty quiet for a hotel right adjacent the hiway it is situated close to grocery store pharmacy and fast food choices and the price is definitely right also love the fountain in the court yard

We had a not-so-good experience. First, I must say this motel is very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The problem is this is a very old motel and needs updating. Our issue was with insulation. Our main problem stemmed from the fact that you could see daylight around the door. It did not close securely and not only was cold air blowing into our room (as though there was an open window) but the noise was at a level 10 all night long. This motel is situated near the freeway and all night long we heard racing cars, squealing tires and voices. We really had to crank up the heat in the room because it was so cold. Thus, not very eco-friendly. The bed was also covered with a plastic mattress pad underneath the sheets. Every time we rolled over, you would think we were laying on bubble wrap. The crackling was deafening and disturbing!

This is a "hidden gem" in the Eugene OR area. We stayed one night but would say that any length would be fantastic. It is about 4-5 minutes from the I5 - no noise. Easy to get to. The desk guy "Frank" I think was very good and friendly, he makes sure you are fully informed and assumes responsibility for your comfort. Way to go Sir. The room was big and clean as the proverbial whistle. I believe they are all like that. Do not pass this one up. It is not Hotel 6, Or a poor Red Lion. It is better. GO FOR IT!

No phone, no internet and no TV during my 2 day stay. They would not give a discount for lack of TV, internet, etc. because “I booked with Expedia.” Apparently I should have booked directly with the motel.

Nice place to sleep. It had no frills, but was very good at essentials. 1. Lots of hot water at very good pressure. The shower head would be too low for a really tall person. 2. Bed was comfortable and clean. 3. They do not advertise free breakfast but do have oatmeal packets and hot chocolate in the lobby. 4. free we-fi 5. Give you the option of how often to get maid service. 6. Granite countertop around sink. 7. Large mirror and hair dryer. 8. Mostly quiet. A little noise on New Year's Eve, but that is to be expected. 9. Right on the freeway and 20 minutes from the airport. I would stay their again!

The hotel was quiet, but our room was in a wing closest to a really busy street. We should have asked for a different location, but it was only a one nite stay. If we stay there again, we'd ask specifically for a room in a different wing. I'm sure they were trying to bunch people in on wing for the ease of their housekeeping staff. It's a large facility.
