It was ok. The breakfast area was small and over crowded. Food ran out fast. The room was ok. We did not sleep well there. Would probably not stay here again

Very nice place to stay and location was good being able to walk to Jackson Square. Beautiful new lobby and breakfast area! Hot cookies at 5, very tasty! Rooms are a bit outdated but spacious, clean and comfortable beds.

The gal who checked us in on Saturday was amazing! We had to switch rooms as we didn’t know it was stairs to the one we’d booked and she was more than helpful . My kids loved the pool and hot tub . . Great service, cute cabin. We’d definitely stay again

We have stayed at 6 different hotels throughout the past few years in Jackson, and this will be the one we return to on our next trip. It holds the best value for the price. An elevator in the side building where we stayed would be nice. That would be my only recommendation. Excellent hot chocolate, and you can take it to go! We didn't get an opportunity to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked very nice!

This is our yearly winter visit to Jackson Hole for skiing and we always stay at the Elk Country in. Its clean, affordable, supplies an adequate hot/cold breakfast along with a shuttle to the mountain. Its centrally located to dining, shopping and the town square. I had a airline/weather issue and Nancy and Cindy did all they could to make sure my stay went well once i arrived. The only thing i would recommend is an update on the rooms themselves, they are a touch out-dated but still very clean and comfortable. We like to call it "rustic"

Pros: location to downtown. Cons: there were many. First, the heater was very noisy and would not shut off even after I turned the entire unit off. With the loud fan, it was hard to sleep, especially with hot air blowing over the bed.
Second, I was disappointed at the tiny size of the TV, and worse, it did not support streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. I travel extensively and have not come across a reputable hotel that does not support streaming.
Third, and most importantly, my room was super noisy. It was noisy from people and traffic coming in from the street, and it was noisy with footsteps and pounding upstairs all day and night.
Lastly, there is collected ice on the path from the lobby to the sidewalk where my room was - this is a safety issue for slips and falls. For what they're charging for the room, it doesn't make sense to cut here.

I had an enjoyable stay. The rooms, especially the restrooms, are a little updated. The television needs to be updated as well. I did love the location and the amenities. I would recommend, and I will stay again.

We stayed in one of the rustic little cottages. The cottage was well supplied with a everything you need for preparing a small meal. You won’t need to cook breakfast though because they offer a great, warm breakfast every morning. I definitely suggest this for a family or group of friends. Hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor) are great.

This place was great! Close to the resort, downtown and eating places. Breakfast was great. The pool room was great for adults not swimming but sitting by the fireplace and still being a part of the group. The room was comfortable and warm. Plenty of room to spread out. Will stay again.

The hotel was great. Nice rooms, great pool, good breakfast. The only downside was the hotel section I stayed had no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up and down stairs. Otherwise great place.

The hotel was nice, clean and had a cozy comfortable feel. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. Nice extras were 2 sinks in the room and extra cups. The breakfast was awesome, coffee and tea were yummy.

The cabins were so cute and comfortable. The property is right outside the town square and is very walkable. Shuttles are offered making everything convenient.

Have stayed at Mountain Modern, The Wort, and The Lexington. This is by my favorite. Beautiful reception and lobby area with a cozy fireplace. The breakfast dining area is also very nice. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs were a hit as was the pool. Very convenient to everything JH has to offer and a quick walk to the square.

I prefer the cabins at this facility. Hotel was fine but a bit run down and older. It was fine but cabins we stayed in before were much nicer.

What I didn't like about this property is that I booked through a third party site and was charged an "Expedia Fee" of $25 on top of my prepaid reservation fee. That's shady business, it's not listed on Expedia. If you don't want to discount your rooms, or pay a commission then don't use third party sites. The property was great for the price either way, it's the unexpected charge and the bs reason that will make me book elsewhere next time I visit Jackson, WY
